Chapter 1827: Beyond Apex Class Aliens

Chapter 1827: Beyond Apex Class Aliens

"This is the book regarding my insight into the Spirit Circle."

"This is the book containing my insight regarding the Divine Seal."

Nathan and Thuka placed their respective books on the table.

Both of them first opened it, confirming the content.

The Spirit Circle was a method to circulate the energy in one’s body.

Normally, the energy would have been released naturally by their bodies. To prevent that leak, the Spirit Circle was created.

In a way, the Spirit Circle would also increase the absorption rate of someone.

At the same time, the Spirit Circle would act like a heart to coordinate the flow of energy.

Still, the amount of energy would be quite huge, making it hard for the spirit circle to contain all of it.

As a result, a new method was created. It was ’Spirit Ability.’ Each circle would contain all that energy, but just letting that energy sit there would make it look like a tumor.

Hence, they turned it to charge an ability instead. The spirit abilities could be said to be one’s trump card. They could learn other techniques, but its power couldn’t be compared to the spirit abilities.

Nathan felt like these spirit abilities sounded like his innate ability, the Soul Contract. Of course, they were different, but the concept itself was similar.

The power of the spirit abilities might not be comparable to innate abilities, but they definitely could use them.

By infusing divinity into the spirit circles, the spirit circles would turn into divine circles and the spirit abilities would turn into divine abilities.

Nathan understood the process. Fortunately, due to the similarity between the human race and the great mist race, he wouldn’t have a hard time adjusting to this technique.

"I have confirmed it." Nathan nodded with a smile.

"I have done it too." Thuka smiled back. "With this, the trade is complete."

"In my world, we seal the deal with a handshake." Nathan held out his hand.

Thuka shook Nathan’s hand before clapping his hands. "This is how we seal the deal."

Thuka politely bowed.

Nathan did the same as a gesture of respect.

"So, what do you want me to do?" Nathan asked.

"It’s actually related to the other worlds." Thuka hesitated for a few seconds. "I have gone to other worlds through two methods. The first one was to fly out of this world, and the second method was through the portals.

"I had gone through three portals. The first planet was scorched because it had three suns. The second planet was far from its sun to the point where the temperature was so cold that even a divine body had a hard time resisting. The third planet looked like a habitable planet. It had trees, water, and so on, but I couldn’t sense any living beings there. Of course, I went through portals beyond that one, but I didn’t venture far because I was afraid of losing my way back.

"If my tribe lost me, they would decline in power. So, I had to think about my tribe as well and decided to return."

Nathan narrowed his eyes. "I’m rather interested in that second planet. A cold that can affect even a divine body?"

"Indeed. I’m not sure either."

Nathan thought for a moment. There was one thing that might be able to describe it.

"Absolute Zero... or at least near Absolute Zero?" Nathan narrowed his eyes.

"Absolute Zero? What is that?"

"It’s a state where no heat transfer is possible. When the cold reaches this degree, it’s so cold that your body won’t be able to transfer heat. This is the only thing I can think of to describe that cold."

"I see. That might be it. Even when I was in outer space, I wasn’t that cold. That was the only planet where I had to retreat before finding the second portal."

"What happened with the portals? Did they disappear?" Nathan asked. "The portals shouldn’t be able to withstand the power of gods. If not, the aliens at that level can pass as well."

"That’s actually the problem. Once in a while, our world will release a mist that will cover the entire world. At that time, the energy in this world will become abundant, and the portal will stabilize.

"There were a total of four times such a being entered this world. Two were killed, but two were repelled. However, those two aliens still existed not far from this planet. I’d like you to subjugate those aliens.

"We would like to do that, but our strength was limited. No, it was more like our number. If you could gang up on them, it would be for the best."

"Hmm?" Nathan fell into deep thought. He was quite curious about absolute zero. This absolute zero would definitely feel like a treasure for those who controlled ice.

Unfortunately, none of his people had an ice element. There might be someone who was powerful enough to control that ice. If that person reached the level of absolute zero, they would become a terrifying being.

At the same time, he couldn’t help but think about the two aliens. These aliens who had forged their divine bodies or even completed their divinities would be troublesome. They might be equal to those strong Ancient Ones already.

Killing them would give him the cores that he had never seen before.

Nathan carefully considered Thuka’s request.

"Still, why do you want us to kill those aliens? Are they going to cause any more problems for this planet?"

"They might, but that’s not the reason." Thuka shook his head helplessly. He was a bit hesitant to talk about the reason since it would make him incompetent.

Suddenly, they felt a presence coming at high speed. A feminine voice echoed across the room as though the person in question had just entered through the window.

"It’s because the great mist will once again cover this world in seven days. If the great mist once again stabilizes the portals, there might be other terrifying beings entering our world, and there’s a chance for it to call the other two creatures to come here."
