Chapter 1860: Cyborg
Chapter 1860: Cyborg
"This doesn’t look like a welcome." Nathan’s eyes turned cold. He was wondering where his women were.
Nathan glanced at these people. Their spacesuits covered their entire bodies. There was a thin film that covered their face, but Nathan’s eyes could still see through it.
They were indeed humans or looked like humans.
Nathan didn’t know what kind of weapons they were wielding, but from what he could see, the warriors had some strength, but they were still mortals.
He didn’t know whether the general was a mortal or not. Nevertheless, this spaceship was huge.
The general’s voice echoed from another spot.
"My apologies. You are an existent who can survive in outer space. I have to take precautions. If you are willing to wear those, we will be able to talk."
Nathan glanced to the side, seeing a soldier bringing him handcuffs.
Nathan’s voice became cold. "In that case, there is no need to talk. I will take my leave."
He suddenly heard something moving. When he turned around, he saw the door was shut.
"I see. So, this is the sincerity of the empire."
"We are sincere, but you are the one who is not sincere."
"Not sincere? In that case, I will show you what it means not to be sincere." Nathan released his power, unleashing his divine energy. The enormous energy caused the air to crack. The immeasurable pressure started to spread all over the room.
As soon as he released his energy, a barrier seemed to cover the soldiers.
Then again, this empire had the capability of sealing a terrifying beast behind that planet. They were definitely a very capable empire. Fighting them wouldn’t be wise, but he wasn’t a pushover either.
"Shoot him!"
Beams came out of their weapons, but Nathan formed his own barrier.
None of the beams could pierce through his barrier, so Nathan leaped toward the hatch door. He didn’t intend to fight anyway, so he would just unleash his power to escape.
Nathan punched the hatch door, trying to blast it open.
Bam!
To his surprise, the door actually remained shut. It was damaged, but Nathan could see that the metal door was actually regenerating.
He recalled that there was a metal that had a memory, which would restore itself after receiving an impact.
In addition, he might not have gone all out, but he definitely had used a lot of his power. Yet the metal door managed to withstand that power.
It looked like he had underestimated the power of technology. They were able to construct a spaceship or even use a planet to confine a being, so he should have expected that there would be a metal that could withstand his power.
"You won’t be able to escape from here. Since you have entered, follow my command or die."
There were two turrets inside them. They aimed at him and unleashed a beam much more powerful than this one. The beam was so hot that it looked as if the sun had descended upon him.
Nathan was forced to use even more power to maintain the barrier. If it continued, these humans could actually melt his barrier.
Nathan gathered his power into his fist. He hit the air, causing it to crack.
Suddenly, a torrential pressure hit the airship with so much power that the airship shook violently.
The entire airship actually tilted sideways.
"Kh..." The general gritted his teeth. However, the door remained shut, showing that Nathan wouldn’t be able to escape.
Nathan was annoyed. There were always two possibilities for him. The first was to wreak havoc inside the spaceship and take over the spaceship. The second was to just escape by using his space element.
He hadn’t considered the first option earlier, but he was pretty annoyed that he started considering it.
’My lord. It looks like the conversation is not working out.’ Ananta whispered in his mind.
’Yeah. Do you think Selena and the others are inside? Or are they outside?’
’That impact should tell them that you’re inside. The fact that they’re not here means they’re hiding somewhere. There’s also a possibility of them having been taken down, but I doubt that the girls will be defeated without a fight.’
’In that case, I should go wild. You three will remain outside. It looks like I have to go on a rampage for a bit. Maybe then, we will be able to reach an understanding.’
’But violence is not always the answer.’
’That just means you haven’t used enough violence.’
Nathan’s eyes turned bloodshot. "Since you intend to play like this, then I shall play along."
Nathan summoned Fenrir, Anubis, Nidhogg, Jinwu, Mae, Qilin, Xolotl, and Garuda.
"!!!" General Kgakga was startled when he saw so many beasts suddenly appearing out of nowhere.
"Beat them up. No need to kill them yet. I’m going to see whether I need to kill them or not." Nathan stated coldly.
"What is this?!"
"How can these be?"
The soldiers panicked. They didn’t expect that there would be more beasts coming here. They panicked, but Fenrir and the others had already made their moves.
Fenrir smacked them, destroyed their force field, and crushed their spacesuit.
"There is still air in here, right?" Fenrir asked. "Or did I accidentally kill this guy?"
"Look down. It’s not entirely human." Anubis snorted.
"Huh?" Fenrir looked down and saw the guy’s head whose skin had been ripped, showing the mechanical head. The brain still looked like a human, but it was protected by metal.
"A cyborg?" Mae frowned. "Well, at least they have a brain."
Mae felt a bit relieved since if they were a complete robot, she wouldn’t be able to use her illusion against them.
"Luna will surely love to dismantle them." Jinwu smirked.
"Go. You may wreak havoc in here. Make sure to go in pairs."
They nodded and split up.
General Kgakga was startled. He didn’t expect that Nathan would choose this action, but he still had his trump card. It was the robustness of the spaceship.
Nathan wouldn’t be able to leave this room. In the meantime, he was asking for reinforcements from other spaceships.
