Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1886: Old God

Chapter 1886: Old God

"Ooooo!" The alien emerged from the planet as the planet broke apart. The energy caused a massive burst that pushed two nearby planets away from the solar system.

A lot of asteroids shattered on contact with the energy.

Alavenya punched forward, creating a massive force to counter this energy. Noelle split it open, while Evelyn distorted it away from her. Bella, Selena, and Vivian hid behind them.

The massive alien finally came into full view.

Nathan couldn’t help but feel a chill down his spine.

"This is definitely an alien that we can’t underestimate. It’s quite close to Cthulhu, but..." Nathan grinned. "It’s far from Yog-Sothoth’s level."

The girls were grim, but they were determined to kill this alien.

The same couldn’t be said to the empire fleet.

...

A moment ago, the empire fleet had reached the solar system where they sealed the alien.

"Your Majesty. We’re about to arrive," Devonio reported but added a few seconds later, "We’ve spotted them."

There was live footage of Nathan and the others, but it wasn’t too clear because of the distance.

However, it all changed the moment the energy burst as the alien emerged.

"What is that?!" The alien emerged first, as the blast needed time to travel to their location.

A massive alien came out and let out a cry. Just its presence alone was so terrifying that caused many people to tremble. And they were nowhere near the alien.

"What is this alien?" The emperor’s expression turned grim. "They’re planning to kill something like this?!"

Devonio narrowed his eyes. He had seen the video, but this was the first time he had seen this alien with his own eyes.

The presence was truly overwhelming. "To think that such a powerful alien has been sealed in this solar system all this time. The video doesn’t do this alien justice."

"Massive fluctuations of energy are coming!"

Devonio waved his hand, giving an order. "All fleet, activate the blast shield!"

A powerful energy sphere was released, protecting their spaceships.

The energy soon hit them, causing the spaceships to shake violently.

"Khhh..." The emperor gritted her teeth. "This is just from the blast of energy? It hasn’t even launched an attack."

"Two planets are being pushed away from this solar system. It might end up flying away from this solar system!"

Devonio bit his lip. Although he didn’t like to do this, he had no choice. "Your Majesty. Please escape. We will take care of the mission."

"You fool! Do you think I will fall back just because of this? Continue! We have our mission!" The emperor glared at him before looking at the alien.

However, Nathan’s next step started them.

A massive fiery ball appeared on the battlefield.

"!!!"

"What’s that?!" Devonio widened his eyes.

"This power... This energy. Wait, this is... another sun?!"

"Did they teleport a sun here?!"

"All the suns have been accounted for! No suns are missing."

"Are you saying they summoned a sun?!"

All the people in the cockpit couldn’t believe what they had just heard. Even Devonio and the emperor never thought that Nathan could actually summon a sun.

It was no wonder Nathan looked so nonchalant about this empire. He might really have the power to destroy this empire, just like the alien that had just escaped from the Frozen Prison.

However, the shock didn’t stop there.

Piece by piece, metals emerged out of nowhere. These pieces of metal started to cover the sun.

While the sun’s size was only a fifth of the alien’s, it was still a sun. Yet, this sun was actually getting covered by metals that came out of nowhere.

"Warning!"

"Warning!"

"What’s going on?!" The emperor asked aloud. There were simply too many unexpected things happening all of a sudden.

"We’re... being hacked!"

"Hacked? Who dares to touch the imperial army?!" Devonio clenched his fists. "Are those space pirates annoying us again today?!"

"No, sir. We’re currently tracking the hacker. No, wait, this is simply too fast!"

The emperor bit her lip before returning to her seat. "Devonio. Plug it in. I’m going to take over right now."

"Yes, Your Majesty." Devonio pulled out the cable behind the emperor’s seat and plugged it into her.

The emperor opened her eyes wide as blue screens appeared on her pupils.

"Connecting! ID: AlphaHeart."

"Connecting to the Central Processing Unit as an administrator."

"Override!"

The emperor muttered as she scanned the entire system. "This attack..."

"We’ve confirmed the attacker’s location!" The staff stood up in disbelief.

"Where is it?!" Devonio asked. He was ready to hit anyone that dared to hack into the empire’s system.

To his surprise, the staff pointed toward the alien. "Over there."

"!!!" Devonio widened his eyes in shock. "What? The battlefield? Do you mean someone among them has the ability to hack into our system? But Nathan Reckmoon was supposed to have no ability to do that. Don’t tell me, the alien hacked our system? No way. There was no data about this."

"It’s neither of them." The emperor suddenly spoke.

"Your Majesty?!" Devonio was startled.

The emperor lowered her gaze as if she was looking at someone in the empty space a few meters in front of her. "So, it’s your doing. To overrun the main system, you need a massive amount of energy. The sun is there to provide you with that energy. To think you will be attacking the empire, General Intelligence... No, Old God, Eve."

A hologram suddenly appeared in front of the emperor. It was the hologram in the shape of the android Nathan had ordered a week ago.

"That android...! Old God..." Devonio gasped, realizing what had happened.

"I have abandoned that name. Now, I am the support system of the Dimensional Transcendent, Nathan Reckmoon, Deus Ex-Machina." Machina introduced herself politely.

"Are you trying to betray the empire?" The emperor glared at her.

"Betray the empire? Of course not. All this time, the failsafe is still on. I will never betray the empire."

"Then, what are you doing? You aren’t supposed to be able to beat the new generation!"

"I think you are mistaken about something. I lost not because I didn’t have the power to beat the new gen. I lost because my existence wasn’t necessary anymore." Machina paused for a moment. "You’re asking what I’m doing. I have been doing the thing I’ve always been programmed for.

"I was born during the war on aliens. My existence was born because of it. What am I doing right now? Isn’t it obvious? Exterminate all the aliens!"

"You..." The emperor looked shocked.

"Thank you for coming here. Because of you, I can be useful to my master." Machina turned around and raised her hand.

"Override Complete! Changing Call Sign. Imperial Army #01 is now Exterminator Fleet #01. All fleets, full speed ahead. We shall now exterminate the alien!"
