Chapter 1889: Nathan Joining the Fight

The sound was amplified and spread in all directions.

"!!!" The ones who were close to them received the blast.

"Gah!" Selena coughed up blood. Her eardrums ruptured as her body was blasted away.

She wasn’t the only one. All of Nathan’s familiars and all six girls along with their familiars ended up getting hit by the sound wave.

Luna and Flora managed to react at the last moment, and the impact wasn’t as powerful at their distance. However, they still had a hard time defeating this alien.

Sera and Nathan didn’t feel anything since they were far away.

Still, Nathan clenched his fists. He had been monitoring everything from the beginning. If he were there, he might make a difference.

Fortunately, Anubis and Raphael were there, using their abilities to heal all of them.

Raphael could feel his power getting drained, but he could still manage for a while. Anubis didn’t feel any pressure, but he still had to be careful because the fight wouldn’t be easy.

Ananta glanced back, looking at the spaceships.

"My lord. I don’t think those spaceships are going to be trouble anymore. We should help as well."

Nathan fell silent for a while, observing their movements. Most of them had been healed by Anubis, but the situation didn’t change. The alien finally started using its full power to clash with them, not to mention there was the berserk state.

He didn’t know whether this alien’s berserk state had been updated by the black cell or not. If he were using the stronger version, Nathan was afraid that this alien would be even more terrifying than he originally expected.

"Machina?"

"I’m here to take care of the spaceships, Master. Please go ahead. I will bring the spaceships here and use their cannons to make some distractions, or do you wish for me to bring them away?"

Nathan contemplated his choices carefully. "For now, bring them around, but don’t engage. If anything changes, I will tell you the adjustment."

"Understood." Machina nodded.

"Ananta, we will be going there. Sera, I will need to leave you here. Please protect Sera and Machina." Nathan turned to her familiars like Brunhild and Asmodeus.

"Of course." Asmodeus smiled.

"I shall not fail my job again." Brunhild nodded with a serious expression.

"There is no need to use your power on me. Instead, focus on the girls or my familiars. I have a different plan." Nathan smiled.

"Got it. Janus and I won’t do anything."

Nathan then hopped onto Ananta’s head. As he moved toward the alien, Nathan said, "Your job is simple this time. Don’t join the fight for the time being and continue to monitor the situation until it reaches the berserk state."

"Understood." Ananta didn’t understand his reasoning, as he had yet to find out the reasons from the numerous possibilities he saw.

As soon as Nathan reached them, the alien was about to use another attack. The girls and the familiars had gotten back up, ready to react.

"I shall coordinate our attacks!" Nathan shouted.

"!!!" They were surprised at first, but they soon smiled. This was what they had been waiting for.

From the beginning, Nathan had told them the general plan, but they were able to do everything at their own discretion.

However, with Nathan, they would move as one body, with him being in control.

Even though they had improved enough to know their roles, there were too many clashes of thoughts. They ended up performing with their own scenarios in mind.

When Nathan looked at the incoming energy, he noticed that the accumulated energy was almost empty. Therefore, Nathan ordered, "Selena, Evelyn, you two take it head-on. Flora, assist them.

"Noelle, attack from the right with Luna’s assistance. Xolotl, coordinate our attack from the front. Tiamat, Abzu, follow along."

They immediately moved according to Nathan’s arrangement.

"Do you think it will be alright?" Evelyn asked while gathering her energy, ready to neutralize the alien’s attack.

"I don’t know what his goal is, but my role is clear right now." Selena took a deep breath before raising her wand.

"That’s true." Evelyn nodded in agreement.

"Alavenya, Vivian, you two will follow Noelle, while Bella stays here."

"Got it!"

The alien had finished gathering its power and released it toward them.

Selena and Evelyn gathered their energy in front of them.

"How about this? I control the macro, you control the micro?" Selena smiled.

"Sounds like a great idea." Evelyn nodded in agreement. "On you!"

Selena used her power to create a massive spiral with their energy. Evelyn controlled the energy and the gap so that it would act like a net to catch the incoming energy wave.

As soon as it reached them, the shock wave shook the entire solar system, but with Selena and Evelyn joining hands, they were able to produce a much more stable defense.

Then Bella, who stayed behind, clapped her hands. "Illusion."

The alien’s energy was covered in a thin layer of illusion, weakening it. Then, Flora pointed her palm toward the energy. As if she were trying to follow Nathan, she said the same words Nathan used to say. "Ice! I’m its king!"

The energy ball that clashed with Selena and Evelyn’s powers suddenly got covered in ice.

"I didn’t know you had been saying something this... how do I say it? It makes me feel goosebumps." Flora chuckled.

Nathan chose to ignore it for a bit, even though he was also embarrassed. Still, it was a quite good story.

Their energies clashed for quite some time, but instead of getting destroyed, the energy held out.

"!!!" The alien looked surprised, not expecting that anything in this universe could withstand this power.

However, Nathan had taken into account how robust Selena and Evelyn’s energies were. He knew that if they worked together, their defense would increase even further. In addition, he asked Flora and Bella to assist them, while the alien didn’t have much accumulated energy anymore.

That was why he knew that these four could stop it.

And this time, it was Nathan’s turn to attack.
