Nathan raised three fingers. "Your job right now is to find the other battlefields, including the active ones. We will use that to figure out the location of the alien’s planet.
"Then, I will need you to find any living planets near the Great Void. It would be good if we could find something to use as a base. It will be even better if they have a civilization capable of entering or guiding us through the Great Void.
"Last but not least, I will need you to scan the Great Void and check its energy level. Considering we’re planning to enter the Great Void, even if it’s just to gather something like the remnants of the gods, it’s good to know their exact location."
"Understood." Machina accepted the order.
"For the time being, we will assume that the black cell came from this Great Void. We are considering the option of summoning anyone that might have information about it, including Loki. Honestly, I still want to put Loki as the last resort, since no one will know what kind of mischief he will create.
"The black cell is using the aliens to stay in our universe, so removing it is actually an option." Nathan raised a very important suggestion.
"Do you mean we’re going to use the same solution? Well, it’s true that the alien will remain alive if we somehow remove the black cell. This theory is confirmed by the black cell we’ve found. It was dead while the alien was still moving and fighting us upon encounter." Selena looked down, contemplating.
"Yeah. If we can somehow remove the black cell, Yog-Sothoth and Azathoth might regain their consciousness. The problem is that it’s going to be close to impossible to do that to those two. The black cell will use everything it has to resist us." Nathan nodded.
"Understood. We will proceed with that thought in mind." Selena turned to Machina. "Doesn’t that mean we will also need Machina to produce the liquid?"
"I can do that, but we don’t know how big it is. I’m going to produce as much as possible, assuming that the alien is as big as a galaxy."
"..." Nathan scratched the back of his head. "There are no fixed or measurable physical sizes for either of them. They exist beyond normal space, time, and comprehension."
"That’s encouraging." Flora rolled her eyes.
Nathan asked, "Okay. We already have a new understanding of the situation. I will continue to review it and I’ll update you guys if I have a new understanding. For now, Garuda and Ananta will continue to tell me everything they know regarding the Great Void.
"In the meantime, let’s talk about the current situation. How is the connection, Machina?"
Machina nodded. "Everything is stable. It goes according to our expectations. There should be no problems with everything I’ve built. With the help of the space ring, there should be no other problems during the transportation. No need to update the protocols."
"Got it. In that case, please continue with the exploration. You may head to the next portal at your discretion. Selena, please take care of the other team."
"Understood." Selena nodded. "Do we need to inform each other before heading to the new portal?"
"Well, that doesn’t sound bad. Maybe give a brief report about the kind of planet you’ve visited, since others might want something from that planet. It will be good if you include nearby planets in their respective solar systems as well." Nathan nodded.
"Machina and Little Machina will do that."
"Understood."
"Okay. This is good enough. Anything else you want to ask before we end this call?"
"No." Selena looked around. No one spoke, so Selena nodded to Nathan. "This is the end, I guess. Talk to you later."
"Yep! Even if you can’t call me, you can message me. I will reply whenever I have the chance. We have a group chat anyway."
"Yeah, but I prefer everyone to be together. It reminds me of what you said back then. Even when people are more connected than ever, they’re becoming more lonely." Selena looked away.
"..." Nathan looked surprised at first, before smiling. "Right? Let’s do that again from time to time. For now, continue to get as close as possible to the Great Void. See you all."
Nathan waved his hands.
"Byee!"
As soon as the call ended, Nathan turned around. "All right. Let’s continue with what we’re doing. Machina, let’s go check the portals. Besides, there is also a matter with Lord Frost. Maybe we can find where he lives and fulfill his wish."
"Understood, Master."
With Nathan’s order, the group split up again, taking care of their respective tasks.
Machina and Little Machina entered the portal. Unfortunately, they weren’t equipped so that they could enter outer space easily. Rather, they took out a different kind of machine.
They scanned the planet’s composition while observing the surroundings. Of course, they also tried to figure out their exact location, trying to see whether they were on the right way.

After discussing it with the others, they finally picked one planet. Nathan and Evelyn then strengthened their respective portals and entered the next world.
They repeated the process three times without finding anything useful. However, it all changed the moment they entered the fourth planet, specifically Nathan’s next world.
Normally, Machina would take about four hours to scan the entire planet and find the location of the planet.
This time, Machina actually returned in just twenty minutes.
"Machina?" Nathan raised his eyebrows. "What’s wrong?"
Machina looked at Nathan for a moment. "Master, we’ve got a situation. I’ve just checked the planet and found a synthetic material."
"Synthetic material... I see." Nathan understood what was going on. There could only be one source from a synthetic material. Someone must have made it.
In other words, their next world had inhabitants.
