Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1936: A New Ally

Chapter 1936: A New Ally

The light gradually vanished. Machina opened her eyes and finally sensed the energy. "So, this is... the world that you’ve always seen, Master."

"Congratulations." Nathan smiled.

"Thank you very much."

"I don’t think my own summoning method will work on you. I suggest you learn the spirit circle first to gather your energy. Then, we will supplement your ena with alien cores later. I will later set your training schedule. For now, let’s get everything here done first."

"Understood, Master."

After finishing up the fourth agreement, Luna and Machina set up a warehouse not far from the castle. Catalith dropped her jaw after seeing so many machines she had never seen before.

Once Machina started working, Catalith and Nathan immediately headed to her castle to continue their discussion.

Nathan felt bad about Noelle and Flora, so he promised that he would make up for it later.

They understood Nathan’s actions. Considering what happened in the empire, it was only natural to be extra careful.

Nathan only told Catalith that his other wives were going to another portal, so they weren’t on this planet. Nathan wasn’t lying, since he was talking about Selena and the others, not Flora and Noelle.

Once everything had settled down, they finally had time to discuss the next business.

"Okay, I guess we should talk about the separation of black cell and the aliens..." Nathan’s expression turned solemn.

"Indeed. I have been thinking about it. If I can contact you all the time, I can probably cooperate with the research. I’m not talking about simply handling all the menial stuff. Instead, I’m wondering if I can do something to improve it." Catalith explained. "I believe this is a much fairer trade."

Nathan didn’t expect this proposal. If Catalith was going to cooperate with him regarding this one, he would pretty much have another ally similar to Vivian.

However, Vivian’s expertise was in the plant, not exactly in this liquid. That was why Vivian hadn’t done much after getting the research from Gregory. Instead, the one who actually made the substance before was the goddess in the mist world.

But since Catalith had gotten phones from Nathan, she could do a lot more, such as contacting them.

Still, he needed to establish the satellites first if they wanted to contact each other.

"Unfortunately, the only way to contact me is to have me establish the satellite system first."

"However, this thing can do it, right?"

"Yeah. We can communicate even if we’re separated a million light years away," confirmed Nathan.

"That’s amazing. This tool that doesn’t even have any energy can actually do that."

"Amazing indeed." Nathan raised one finger. "The biggest problem right now is the satellite from this world. You will need one to double the range. However, if we put it right outside your planet..."

"I see. You’re worried that other saints or gods decide to destroy it. Saints might not really be brave enough to do it, but other gods might do it."

"Yeah." Nathan sighed. "For now, I will see if we can set up a satellite on the ground. This realm won’t be attacked, right?"

"This is an individual realm for me, so yes, it shouldn’t be attacked unless there’s an idiot wanting a war. This place hasn’t been attacked for thousands of years, so it should be fine."

"Okay. Let’s do that." Nathan agreed. "I will ask Machina to explain the rest to you. For now, take a look at this."

"You’re not afraid that I will just get all this and leave?"

Nathan chuckled. "Do you want to use my contract to handle this problem? Well, I don’t exactly care. It will be good to have you as an ally, but if you choose not to do that, I don’t care either. It’s just... you should hope that I don’t survive against the black cell.

"If I survive, I will surely find you and hunt you down, even if I have to destroy this world." Nathan’s expression turned cold.

"That’s a rather bold claim, but..." Catalith didn’t finish her words. It was clear that Nathan was capable of doing so. He believed Anubis, Xolotl, and Garuda weren’t the only true gods by his side. "...you don’t have to worry. I hold my promise dearly."

Nathan nodded. "In that case, there’s no need for additional contracts. I’d like to trust my ally."

"Of course." Catalith smiled. "You know, if you just proposed to me with a fist-sized karma, I would have married you, no question asked. Double that amount, I will love you to death."

Nathan chuckled. "Please stop with that joke. I’m simply not looking for another life companion."

Little did she know, Nathan’s karma was like a sphere with a diameter of four meters. A fist-sized karma was nothing to him.

In fact, just helping Fenrir or Anubis to become a true god required more karma than what she wanted.

In a way, he could make her his subordinate directly by enticing her with karma, but he didn’t know about her character, so he didn’t want to risk it.

At the same time, he didn’t want to use his karma recklessly. He needed to help his familiars and even his wives’ familiars not only to the god level but also true god level.

This action alone would cost so much karma. It might not harm him entirely, but his karma was also tying his luck neatly.

If he used up too much karma, his luck might become even messier, so he didn’t want to use too much and risk having unknown variables messing with his plan.

Hence, Nathan didn’t bother with the idea.

Catalith smiled since she was just teasing him... Actually, she was serious, but she wasn’t going to complain if she didn’t get it. "Shall we take a look at the research then? This agreement will be established under the condition that I can improve your research, so I need to see if that’s possible or not."

"Before that, I have a few questions unrelated to this." Nathan raised his hand, gesturing for her to stop.

"Sure. What’s the question?"

"You mention visitors from other worlds. Do you happen to know a saint or a god known as Lord Frost?"
