Chapter 1959: Consolidating Two Absolute Elements

Chapter 1959: Consolidating Two Absolute Elements

A few hours later, the zone’s fire energy started to subside. It didn’t seem that the core had been taken out, but the intensity of the fire was surely decreasing.

Nathan observed everything carefully, while maintaining a close look at the people who were waiting for those who had entered the zone.

If the situation became too big, he had no choice but to escape right away, not wanting to risk everything just for a bit more power.

Fortunately, the phenomenon stopped after a while.

Nathan stopped worrying. People were thinking if one of them actually managed to gain recognition from the core or something. He didn’t care much about their opinions as long as the phenomenon remained simple. This way, he knew that the authorities on this planet wouldn’t do anything to him.

After waiting a bit longer, Flora finally emerged from the zone. Nathan could see that the energy around her had become even more robust.

"How is it?" Nathan smiled, knowing that Flora was the one causing this small phenomenon.

"Everything went smoothly." Flora nodded, reassuring him first. "Right now, my flame has been enhanced quite a bit. It greedily devoured the energy, so I had a hard time stopping it at first, but everything was still under control.

"As you said, I made sure not to swallow everything. At most, I swallowed about 35% of the original energy. It was enough to consolidate my flame. While it’s true that my flame is still lower than my absolute lightning and ice, it’s still extremely powerful."

"I see." Nathan nodded, satisfied. "That’s good then. In that case, let’s continue with the absolute earth element. Can you still do it? Or do you want to wait for a bit longer?"

"I think it’s better to do it right away. I don’t want to cause a commotion, but if I end up causing one, dealing with it fast and leaving as soon as possible is the best option."

"Very well." Nathan agreed. Since they had gotten what they needed from this zone, they headed straight to the next zone.

This zone had a rather unique appearance. The desert looked like there was nothing inside, but the density of energy in this place was multiple times compared to the outside.

A lot of people wanted to settle down nearby, but looking at how the sand was eroding almost everything, they had no choice but to leave behind those buildings and rebuild the community slightly away from this place.

In addition, Nathan could see a sandstorm far away from this area. It was hard to see, but he was sure there was one.

Nathan asked, "How did you find your way to the core earlier?"

"Relying on my absolute fire element, of course. When you go inside, you need to release your element. That element will be your guide. You just get... that kind of sensation. It’s faint, but it’s there. I’m assuming that this is the reason why even authorities are having a hard time.

"Most likely, it’s hard to sense the core in this place... harder than the Hell Zone. As a result, even gods are fooled."

"Well, you have absolute elements..." Nathan narrowed his eyes.

"Yes. The stronger your element is, the stronger your senses are. So, the normal process is to just get stronger at the outer layer. Once your element reaches a certain point, you have to go to the inner layer and get stronger again before finding the core."

"Well, you still need time to adjust everything. Isn’t that why the entire planet doesn’t possess an absolute element?"

"True." She nodded. "Well, there you have it. I’m going in."

"Yep. Take your time. I will be waiting for you." Nathan waved his hand.

What happened to the Hell Zone happened again to this Disaster Storm Zone. The energy fluctuated and decreased. It wasn’t as significant as before, but everyone could clearly feel it. They were wondering if there were people who managed to somehow reach the core or something.

After all, this kind of thing wouldn’t happen unless they reached the core.

Unfortunately, they could only speculate.

Flora continued to suck the energy before returning a few hours later.

"I’m back!" Flora waved her hands.

"Well, you can tell me what happened after we left this planet." Nathan smiled.

He and Flora then flew away with Mae following right behind. On the way, Flora explained, "It’s basically the same. I just found the core and absorbed the energy. It was quite hard this time. I was just lucky that I managed to find it quickly.

"If I wasn’t lucky, it would be easy to spend twice or thrice the time just to find the core. It was quite confusing, so I just pretty much guessed things, and they ended up being the correct choices. I did absorb 40% of the energy this time."

"That should be fine." Nathan nodded in understanding. "With this, you have four absolute elements. We just need wind, plant, light, and dark this time."

"Thank you for all this."

Nathan just smiled. "For the darkness, I’m thinking about using the Great Void or something else. As for the light... I haven’t been able to come up with a possibility.

"The plant... I guess absorbing the world tree or something should be enough, but the world tree won’t be the one like what we know about. We need a world tree so big that the trunks pierce outer space, the roots tear through the ground and are covered in magma. Something like that.

"Last but not least, the wind element. A cosmic wind or something? I don’t know. Or we can probably stay here, but if we just stay here for too long, I’m afraid that these gods are going to notice.

"If we want to go back, let’s wait until we become true gods. That way, we will probably steal the planet’s resources more brazenly." Nathan sighed.

Flora just patted him on the back. Nathan didn’t like stealing when he had the strength because it would feel like he was bullying the weak. He didn’t want to become someone he hated.

"We’ll just think about the solution later. And sorry for troubling you with all this."
