Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 1976: Leading Pantheons

Chapter 1976: Leading Pantheons

Selena and the others opened their mouths wide, shocked to find such a beautiful woman. It could be said that Nathan had just become the most beautiful woman in the universe.

Sera gasped. "N-Nathan... Is that you?"

"Welcome to the memory of the past, Mr... Oh I mean, Miss Nathania?" Loki smirked. "Oh, by the way, good day to you too, Son."

"..." Fenrir felt like smacking his own father. "And you just remembered me?"

"Someone is more interesting than you." Loki shrugged.

Fenrir really wanted to hit him.

"How about—" Loki suddenly choked as a hand grasped his neck.

"Very good indeed." Nathan smiled. He wasn’t as affected as Fenrir, who started getting pissed off from a few words.

Instead, Nathan asked a question. "By the way, if a goblin breeds you, will it become a goblin god or something? If monsters are not your preference, how about beasts? I am not going to let these guys get tainted by you, but if there are some who are interested, we can try. If not, I will probably just bring a random dog from somewhere to breed you. At that time, will it become a three-headed dog or a ten-tailed dog?"

"..." Loki froze and snapped his fingers. The illusion disappeared on Nathan, returning his form to its original appearance.

Nathan harrumphed.

"In my defense, I’ve given you the form of the most beautiful woman in the universe."

"Is that your last word?"

Loki paused for a moment. "You may be clear about the punishments, but I haven’t done anything that will harm you or the people around you, so there is no need for punishment."

"Do you think you can replicate what you’re doing to those dwarves?"

"You can’t sew my mouth shut. If I can’t speak, you won’t be able to understand anything."

Nathan harrumphed. "I’m not letting you off no matter how small it is. The moment I let you off once, I know there will be a second time. So..."

Nathan raised one finger. "How about you turn into a balloon before I get angrier?"

"..." Loki paused for a moment before changing his shape again. Nathan grabbed the thread so that Loki wouldn’t get away.

"So, why are we being spheres?"

He was soon surrounded by the spheres, which were the familiars. They didn’t like their new forms in this illusion.

"It’s the most convenient form." Loki tried to explain himself.

"Yeah. Do you think that’s enough?"

This was the first time he had been at such a disadvantage. In the end, he changed the illusions for everyone. Instead of turning them into their original form, he turned them into their smaller form.

There was a little fox, a little dragon, and other beings that were hovering in the air.

"Not bad." Xolotl nodded.

"Very well." Tiamat agreed. "Let’s continue. We have wasted too much time because of these stupid things."

"So, where are we?" Nathan asked. "You shouldn’t hide anything. After all, it does look like you’re intending to kill the aliens."

Loki started explaining, "This place was the realm where the gods from other realms met. We didn’t have a name for it because we couldn’t decide whose language we should use to name this place, so we just named it blank.

"After the black cell controlled a few Outer Gods, the situation changed because the aliens invaded."

Loki pointed to the round table. "Because of the scale, we ended up having seven pantheons as the leading force of the resistance. I’m sure you can recognize them."

Nathan stepped forward, staring at all seven beings that sat at this round table.

He could see an old man with lightning sparks around him. It was Zeus from Greek Mythology.

Nyx recognized him as well and chuckled. "Little Zeus is over there."

There was another old man with a rather special eye, which meant he was Odin from Norse Mythology.

"M-My Lord?" Brunhild gasped, not expecting to see her former lord even though it was in the form of an illusion.

Next to him was a man with a bird head and a pair of golden wings. It was clearly Ra.

Anubis closed his eyes. "Ra."

There was a mature man with blue skin.

Garuda and Ananta couldn’t help but lower their heads. "Lord Vishnu."

Next to him was a man whose chair ended up becoming a throne the moment he sat down.

"The Jade Emperor." Jinwu and Kun narrowed their eyes.

"Ah, that! Amaterasu!" Mae pointed at the only woman in the room.

"Brother..." Xolotl crossed his arms, looking at the snake who was just circling around the chair. There was only one person with that title. Quetzalcoatl.

"To avoid confusion and too much chaos, we chose these seven pantheons to lead the fight against the aliens. The others had no choice but to agree because of the imminent danger." Loki explained.

"How do you even know about this?" Nathan asked.

"Ah, sorry! One person was allowed to accompany them. He was my brother, so..." Loki shrugged.

Nathan nodded in understanding. Loki was Odin’s sworn brother in the mythology.

Loki added the other seven figures. There were Nuwa, Poseidon, Osiris, Mars, Shiva, and Tsukuyomi.

Nathan couldn’t help but look at Tiamat. "Now that I think about it, with your strength, shouldn’t you be a major power as well, Tiamat? Mesapotamian Mythology should be a major power, right?"

"How do I say this?" Loki scratched the back of his head. "They were invited, but they were like lone wolves. Not many thoughts that the alien resistance was that useful. They would think that mobilizing for war was necessary, but they thought they could handle it somehow with so many gods around."

"..." Nathan sighed. He had expected this.

"It’s better to just show you what they actually discussed here." Loki shrugged.

"The chaos is at the gate. If we let it continue, it will gradually come into our world. When that happens, no one will be spared from the chaotic battlefield. However, it’s better not to fight here. We don’t want everything we’ve built so far to be destroyed in the process, right?"

"I guess we’ll just kill them all on another battlefield."

"Just lure them. That should be enough."

"Can we go home now? Let’s just prepare everything and head out at your own pace."
