Chapter 1979: Another Misconception
Chapter 1979: Another Misconception
Nathan narrowed his eyes. “I want to know about the Dark Dimension.”
Nathan chose to ignore Loki’s remark and just moved on to the second part. He had some information from Apep, so he needed to see if Loki knew anything about it. After all, he had signed a contract not to lie.
He knew that Loki could just spew some truth and cause a misunderstanding, so he had to be careful.
“Well, that’s something you aren’t supposed to know.”
“Not supposed to know? You know that’s not true.” Nathan narrowed his eyes.
Loki paused for a moment before saying, “Given the situation, I can understand why you want to know them. If you want to enter the Dark Dimension, I suggest you give up. If you want to seal the Dark Dimension, it is possible, but you are one thousand years too early to do that.”
“Do you mean there’s another prophecy about that?” Nathan frowned.
“No. I’m just saying you’re too weak for that.” Loki shook his head.
“I’m not sealing the Dark Dimension or going there. I know it’s not worth the risk because I can’t survive there. Still, the information about the Dark Dimension might prove useful to fight the black cell.”
“That might be true… that might not. All I can tell you are three things. The Dark Dimension won’t be a problem for any of us. Coming out of the Dark Dimension is impossible. There is no worthy host to attach yet. Well, you will probably become one if you manage to defeat those aliens.
“Otherwise, getting reborn into this universe will take a seriously long time, so there’s nothing to worry about for now.
“Secondly, the black cell won’t have any allies because it’s born to rule over everything. The allies are just his minions. So, you don’t have to worry about other people getting accepted to be its allies. If they do that, the black cell would rather control them.”
“The second one is wrong. There was at least one person who became its ally.” Nathan shook his head. The Godfather was definitely the black cell ally. “If you have checked my memory with your power, you should know that.”
Loki shook his head. “You’re the one in the wrong this time. That Godfather in your memory? He’s not an ally of that black cell.”
“What are you talking about?”
“He’s the black cell itself.” Loki smiled.
“!!!” Nathan widened his eyes in shock. The others couldn’t believe it either. “What do you mean?”
“Do you really need me to spell it out for you? The black cell has controlled him, but because the body has the innate ability to ‘hear anything,’ the black cell has found a way to talk to you. In other words, that so-called Godfather is the black cell using the brain of a human to start something new.
“Fortunately, it doesn’t seem that the original human was that smart, so what the black cell did was limited.”
Nathan paused for a few seconds, while Selena asked, “If that’s true, then couldn’t the black cell combine the minds of aliens with the Godfather’s ability? I mean, it could have the premonitions of Yog-Sothoth.”
“Which is why Yog-Sothoth must have been blocking the information. In other words, he’s using that consciousness to block the premonition ability. Didn’t something big happen not long after?”
“!!!” Selena and the others knew what he was talking about.
“You camouflaged everything with this ‘jinx’ without realizing that the truth is like this.” Loki turned to Nathan. “I’m not saying your luck is good. Your luck is terrible, very terrible. It’s just there’s an explanation for everything.”
Nathan pinched the bridge of his nose. The meteor or the apex class aliens summoned through the portals… both of them actually happened because Yog-Sothoth was trying to block the black cell’s connection to the Godfather.
Azathoth was completely useless according to what he read, so this meant Yog-Sothoth had been doing his best to help them. However, if he picked something, he had to give up on other things.
Nathan couldn’t help but think about something else. “Now that you mention it, for Yog-Sothoth to descend to the planet…”
“It must have done something big that allows the black cell to do something that big as well.”
It seemed that in the first life of the original Nathan, he had done something big on the planet to the point where Yog-Sothoth ended up descending.
Nathan frowned. “We might have to go back to our own planet to find out before fighting against the black cell. I’m not so sure right now, so…”
“So… I’m planning to turn into a woman. Because of your luck, I will become even luckier as a woman, right? I feel like this is going to be exciting. I wonder how luck is going to come my way. Oh, by the way, do you want to try to give birth to a human god? You just have to create a body for me and—”
“Shut up.” Nathan snorted. “Your useless mouth has just given away the confirmation that I need. The method I’m working on seems to be doable for a complete rebirth.”
“Oh! You’re thinking about that. All the words coming out of my mouth are intentional.”
Nathan just gave him a cold gaze. “And the third one, you can tell me about this Dark Dimension?”
He chose to shift the topic back.
“Oh yeah! As for the third one, it’s nothing special. I’m just clearing out one of your misconceptions. Jade Emperor, Vishnu, and those who couldn’t be summoned anymore weren’t erased because they chose to kill themselves to avoid detection from Azathoth.
“Just like how a person named Nathan could bypass Azathoth by registering his own information and making the world recreate him every time on a clean slate.”
Nathan was taken aback. He didn’t expect it wasn’t the reason. “Their information should have been in the system, so what was the reason?”
Loki raised one finger and said with a smile. “Because they died in the Dark Dimension.”
