Chapter 2152: The Light Borns.

RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE

THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER

Gracevale trembled in fear as it sensed its connection with its Eternals disappear out of nowhere.

And it wasn’t just Gracevale itself,

RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE

THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER

The very Universe trembled, and unlike Gracevale, which felt fear, the Universe was enraged.

It happened again, and this time, on a much larger scale.

Fifteen Eternals!

It lost fifteen Eternals!

The Universe was throwing a fit, its trembling destroyed thousands of Lowest Level Worlds.

Anomaly—the Universe wanted to do whatever it took to get rid of that entity!

And it wasn’t just the Universe that wanted that; the Supreme World of Light was the same.

Gracevale’s once bright and peaceful sky suddenly began pulsing with a bright, golden light, making every being raise their head and look at what was happening.

The clouds split open, and beams of pure, beautiful energy descended, and in an instant, every being in Gracevale dropped to their knees.

After all, they knew what this light meant.

The Light Borns had arrived.

What’s even more shocking was that there wasn’t just one or two—

There were a total of forty of them.

Each one shone like a miniature sun, their wings bright enough to light the world below. They wore long, white-golden robes engraved with runes that felt otherworldly. Their presence alone cleansed the air.

"It’s them... the Supreme World of Light sent the Light Borns..."

Voices of citizens filled the air, trembling between awe and... relief.

"They must’ve come to investigate the disappearance of Lord Silvaris and others!"

"Yes! Whoever that man was! He will now face the consequences of his bold action!"

"Gracevale will be safe now!"

The talks began.

These people had just witnessed Lord Silvaris, a being they considered to be one of the strongest and their protector, defeated within a matter of seconds. The sudden disappearance of the unknown enemy and all other Eternals only surprised them even further.

And when the Universe and Gracevale reacted, this surprise turned into fear.

These people had never once experienced an otherworldly enemy’s attack in the first place, not to mention one at such a grand scale.

What would happen now?

Where had the Eternals disappeared to?

Why was Gracevale acting like this?

What was going to happen next?

What was going to happen to... them?

And what if... now that the Eternals weren’t here to protect them, another enemy from a different faction attacked?

All these questions appeared in their heads. They were scared—it was natural for it to happen, especially when their very world was trembling and screaming in fear and panic.

The Light Borns’ entry, however, calmed them.

After all, their presence meant the direct involvement of the Supreme World of Light—no one was going to act against them now, not even enemies from another faction.

Yes, the Light Borns’ mere presence filled the people with hope.

But...

The Light Borns didn’t speak to the people.

Their glowing eyes swept across the land, across the ruined plaza where the Gracevale Eternals had disappeared.

At the center of their group stood their leader—Serion, one of the oldest among the Light Borns.

His wings were vast and golden like crystal fire, his voice carried a strange calming power.

"Spread out,"

He ordered in an emotionless voice.

"Read every memory, every echo.

Leave no place untouched."

At his command, the other thirty-nine vanished, turning into streaks of golden light that shot across Gracevale.

The citizens stared in awe as the Light Borns appeared in front of them. Soon, however, their awe turned into panic as the Light Borns extended their hands and grabbed their foreheads.

It was clear what they were doing.

However...

The people of Gracevale did not mind.

"I... I saw him!"

A female Auriel shouted as she saw a Light Born standing about a hundred meters away from her.

"He was an Incubus! A very handsome Incubus! He stood there and smiled—and then they vanished! All of them! I also felt that the sky turned dark, but it didn’t!"

She told everything without being asked.

Her face seemed flushed, almost as if she was possessed.

The Light Born, hearing her words, frowned. He vanished and appeared in front of her. The woman’s smile widened even further—this was the first time she was seeing a Light Born; being blessed with such luck...

She was so content that even if she died right now, she would not complain.

Of course, the Light Born did not care about what she was thinking. He simply grabbed her head, making the woman tremble with even more joy, and just like that, he began reading her memories.

When he got what he wanted, he waved his hand, and suddenly, a projection appeared in the air, showing Nux surrounded by fourteen Eternals—all from the woman’s perspective.

At the same time, the rest of the Light Borns had found witnesses as well, and every one of them started adding into the projection the first Light Born had created, adding different perspectives to it.

Within just a minute of arriving, the Light Borns had managed to create a perfect, three-dimensional projection in the air, showing exactly what happened and how it ended.

With that projection, even the people who did not know what happened and who was responsible for it now knew Nux’s face.

Serion, who hadn’t moved from his place, narrowed his eyes as he saw Nux. Suddenly, one of the Light Borns appeared beside him and—

"He erased the trace of his arrival,"

He spoke quietly.

"Completely."

He didn’t act excessively respectful—even if Serion was older than him and maybe a little stronger, in the end, they were both Eternals with similar bloodlines.

Another Light Born arrived a second later and—

"The people’s memories are consistent. They weren’t manipulated either; there wasn’t enough time."

Serion frowned. Just... how did he completely erase all the traces? That too, in such a short time?

There had to be something, no?

A single clue—

And just then,

"One woman is missing."

Another Light Born reported.

Serion’s expression changed. He quickly glanced at the Light Born and—

"Wh—"

However, before he could complete his question—

RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE

THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER

The Universe reacted again.
