Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 2155: So… are you going to make us all… disappear?

Chapter 2155: So... are you going to make us all... disappear?

"Right,

Bringing out your daughter like that wasn’t the best move either—just what is happening to me?

Why am I not thinking things through?"

Shadow tilted her head, confused by her own actions, completely ignoring the angry man glaring at her as if he was going to murder her.

After all, the man posed absolutely no threat to her; after all, he was merely a Sovereign, that too, now inside Nux’s Universe where Shadow had absolute strength. Ravana wouldn’t be able to hurt Shadow even if he had billions of lives.

Shadow quickly shook her head and continued what she came here for—

"So, as I was saying..."

She began her story, and this time, Ravana listened. As wary as he was, he could tell something was wrong, and this odd, unknown woman seemed to have answers. Plus, his daughter was already safe in his hands, so while the situation might still be dangerous, Ravana didn’t feel like the woman in front of him was an enemy.

"You remember how the Universe trembled a few minutes before that unknown entity appeared in your world, correct?"

Shadow began with a question.

Ravana nodded with a grim look on his face; that tremor had destroyed his world even further, so he obviously did not forget about it.

"That happened because Gracevale was attacked."

Shadow revealed, and Ravana...

"What...?"

He widened his eyes in disbelief.

Gracevale was a High-Level World that had deep connections with the Supreme World of Light—who in their right min—

"Yes, yes, keep all the disbelief to yourself."

Shadow interrupted Ravana’s line of thought as she waved her hand in a dismissive manner. She had no intention of wasting her time here.

"All you need to know is that Gracevale was attacked. All their Progenitors, who came to face the enemy, disappeared. The Supreme World of Light sent Light Borns to investigate, but the enemy left no trace.

The only problem was..."

Shadow stared at the woman in Ravana’s arms and...

"Along with fifteen Progenitors, one woman, otherwise insignificant and unrelated to the situation, had disappeared as well.

That woman was taken by the enemy, just like he took away the Progenitors, but the Light Borns misunderstood the situation and suspected the woman to be the enemy’s ally—hence, an enemy that needs to be found."

"Why are you telling me all that...?"

Ravana asked directly, confused.

The news of Gracevale being attacked already surprised him. Adding to that, the woman continued giving more information without letting him absorb what was already said. His mind felt overwhelmed, not to mention Ravana did not like how the woman was staring at his daughter.

Something... something felt ominous.

And it was.

"The woman who disappeared is your daughter."

Shadow revealed, and in an instant, Ravana’s expression changed.

"My daughter had... disappeared...?"

He asked in disbelief.

"Yes."

Shadow nodded.

"So the people from the Supreme World of Light think she is an enemy...?"

He asked another question, and once again, Shadow nodded, and Ravana panicked.

"No! We have to make things clear!

My daughter is not an enemy! How can she be the enemy of a Supreme World!? She is not even a Sovereign yet!

I-I need to talk to them! I n-need to tell them that my daughter was taken by the enem—"

Suddenly, Ravana froze as something clicked in his head.

He turned his head towards Shadow in an almost mechanical manner, then, with his face now paler than before—

"Y-You said that my daughter was taken away by the enemy... then why do you..."

He couldn’t even complete his question.

Shadow, however, understood what he wanted to say and nodded again.

"Yes, we were the ones who attacked Gracevale."

"What...?"

"Well, technically, he is my husband who loves me the most, but same thing."

Shadow shrugged casually.

And obviously, Ravana was not on the same page of humor as her. He stared at Shadow, frozen in fear.

Seeing that, Shadow sighed.

"Come on, use your head a little, will you?"

She began.

"If we wanted to kill you, you or your daughter wouldn’t be standing here. All these soldiers around you wouldn’t be alive either."

"...then what do you want from us?"

Ravana asked in a low, fearful voice.

If this woman was someone who attacked Gracevale and escaped, then... he obviously stood no chance against her.

"Well, nothing really. You are just here because we wanted to protect you and the people of your world."

"...what?"

Ravana blinked.

How was kidnapping his daughter and involving her in a situation as dangerous as this protecting them in any way?

He wanted to ask this out loud, but he didn’t dare to.

Shadow obviously knew what he was thinking, and she just nodded,

"I have read your and your daughter’s memories; you people are not fools.

You do not foolishly believe that the Supreme World of Light is what they pretend to be. They are no different from other Supreme Worlds. To them, you and your people are just pawns they can use and discard anytime they desire.

But this incident made a link between the enemy the Supreme World of Light desperately wants to catch and your daughter.

Even if the link is weak, since it is the only thing they have, they will investigate it thoroughly.

First, they will target your daughter, then it will be you, then your entire world. Even if they do not find anything, they will eradicate you and your people just to ensure the enemy isn’t working with you.

There is no situation where you get out of this unless..."

"Unless...?"

Ravana gulped.

"Unless you disappear from the Universe."

"...disappear from the... Universe?"

Ravana blinked, confused by those words.

Was this woman... trying to kill them?

No, that made no sense.

It was something else.

Ravana thought about it for a while, and soon, he connected those words with something Shadow said before...

"By disappearing...

Is this similar to how the Gracevale Progenitors disappeared...?"

He asked carefully, and Shadow raised her eyebrow, impressed.

From Ravana’s memories, she knew he was a sharp man, but she didn’t expect him to make the connection, especially considering his current mental state.

"Yes, you can think of it like that."

"So... are you going to make us all... disappear? What will happen to us when you do...?"

The Greenmarch Progenitor questioned, and Shadow...

"You have already disappeared."

She just smiled.
