Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 2177: They are of Light and we must greet them properly.

Chapter 2177: They are of Light and we must greet them properly.

This was the Irethol Progenitors’ plan, even if it meant overworking their people beyond reason for a while—

Yes, they were working hard and...

The Heavens decided to reward their efforts.

SWOOOSH

Suddenly, a streak of gold tore through the sky.

Then another.

Another.

And then four more times—

Irethol’s sky parted as seven radiant figures descended, their halos cutting through the storm clouds that had formed from the sheer force of their presence.

Behind them were eleven others—each releasing an aura far stronger than what mere subordinates should have.

Eternals.

All eleven of them were Eternals.

Combined with the seven Light Borns, a total of eighteen Eternals had descended onto Irethol. Their combined aura shook everything around them and painted the entire sky gold.

The Thal’ren people who noticed the sudden change stopped mid-work, looking up from their floating cities with awe and confusion.

Yes, Irethol was a High-Level World, an important member of the Light Faction, but most people in Irethol hadn’t seen Light Borns in their entire lives. It was said that seeing even one Light Born was a once-in-a-million-years miracle, a rare occurrence—but now...

Now seven of them had descended at once.

Were the Progenitors truly correct?

Was this truly the day they would leave the shadows of Gracevale and other worlds? Were they... going to advance and become something far more than a simple High-Level World?

The people’s eyes were filled with hope, their faces reflecting the golden light that these beings released.

And it wasn’t just the common people—in the main coral citadel, five Irethol Progenitors gathered quickly, every single one of them was an Eternal—an absolute being whom no one in the entirety of Irethol could go against.

But right now—these weren’t the absolute beings who demanded absolute loyalty wherever they went—

Right now, these five beings stared at the sky, their eyes shining with greed. If they weren’t conscious of their image, one might even see them rubbing their hands together in glee.

But...

While they were gleeful, yes, something... something did not make sense.

"Irethol’s Will did not react to their arrival."

One of the five Progenitors, a silver-eyed Thal’ren named Zal’ith, commented with a frown, and in an instant, the other Progenitors froze.

...what?

They blinked, and for a moment, their minds did not register it.

But soon, it did.

The Light Borns and other Eternals were hovering right in front of them, their lot was planning on going and greeting them but...

How was it that even when eighteen foreign entities came to their world, their World’s Will did not inform them...?

Just...

Just what was happening?

Another one of the Progenitors, Elyra, connected with the World’s Will and extended her senses—and the moment she did—her frown deepened.

"Irethol’s Will... it is unable to sense them at all...

According to Irethol... these eighteen beings... do not exist."

She muttered.

The rest of the Progenitors did what she did and came to the same conclusion—a conclusion that confused and horrified them at the same time.

"But... how is this possible...?"

Varon, another one of the Progenitors, questioned, his usually deep voice currently shaken.

"Is... is this a relic?"

Zal’ith muttered as he tilted his head.

All other Progenitors turned toward him with flat looks on their faces. Every single one of them knew that a relic capable of hiding an entity from a World’s Will did not exist. If it did, it would have changed the very way Universal Wars worked—

Methods like assassinations, abduction, and other cowardly tactics would become commonplace. Real wars would become secondary, and these tactics would decide the true outcome.

It would be... chaotic.

But...

The other Progenitors knew that Zal’ith knew this as well—plus, they were literally seeing the so-called impossible happening in front of their very eyes.

Not to mention...

Wasn’t the Universe already chaotic enough?

Weren’t things that had never happened before in trillions and trillions of years happening one after another as if they were nothing?

What if the Light Faction found a way to create such a relic? What was stopping them from breaking the rules that hadn’t been broken ever before?

When the Progenitors thought about it—

It all made sense.

If anyone could do it, it would be the Supreme Faction.

And didn’t Lady Seraphielle wake up just a few moments ago? What if the relic was a gift she bestowed upon her people?

The moment that thought appeared in their heads, the Progenitors believed it.

Not to mention—

"It does not matter."

Elyra spoke, her expression changing.

"Whether it is a relic, an artifact, or an ability, none of it matters.

They are of Light, and they have come to visit us,

And we must greet them properly."

She declared, her words gaining nods of approval from the other Progenitors.

"Then let us go."

Varon nodded again, and together, the five Eternals emerged from the coral citadel, their bodies rising through the silver waters, breaking through the glimmering surface until they hovered beneath the radiant sky.

The seven Light Borns waited for them—seven beings filled with absolute grace and glowing with golden brilliance.

Both the Light Borns and the beings behind them were Eternals, but despite that... in the eyes of the Irethol Progenitors, the eleven Eternals... simply did not exist.

Varon, the representative of the Irethol Progenitors, stepped out with a pleasing smile and bowed respectfully—

"Honored emissaries of Light,"

He began politely as he then started introducing himself.

"I am Varon Tideflare, one of the five Eternals of Irethol. You honor our world with your—"

But before he could even complete the sentence he had prepared in his mind for the last few seconds—

Pierce

His body jerked as suddenly—

A golden spear burst through his chest.

For a second, the world froze.

Varon looked down slowly, his eyes filled with absolute disbelief.

The spear of light flickered once before turning into liquid that prevented any form of healing. Varon’s luminous blood flowed out without stopping; the golden liquid continued to drain his life force and shut down his vital organs.

"V-Varon...?"

Elyra blinked... unable to believe what was happening.

She wanted to move forward—but before she could, another Light Born raised his hand, and a wall of light formed, cutting her off.

Varon’s body twitched once, then... it went still.

The glow faded from his veins and he...

He fell.

His crystalline body free-falling into the sea below.
