Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 2274: I’m coming for you.

Chapter 2274: I’m coming for you.

"AAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Archon screamed.

A scream so desperate, so... soul-shaking that... for a moment, the entire void turned silent.

His soul shook violently, covered in needles—thousands of them—each one buried into him, each one showing the amount of agony he had just gone through.

There was no blood.

There was no wound to heal.

Only agony.

Pure, endless agony.

And the worst part?

The number of needles around him hadn’t lowered. It was as if... the more needles were used, the more appeared again.

And it was... horrifying.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!"

Archon screamed again. At this point, his scream had turned into a shriek—something that couldn’t even be recognized. Yes, he was losing his mind.

Nux was standing a few meters away from him, his hands behind his back as he watched him like an old man watching the weather.

There was this strange calmness on his face, as if he had all the time in the Universe.

And completely opposite to him, Archon thrashed helplessly, then his scream finally broke into words.

"WAIT—!! STOP—!! PLEASE—!!"

His eyes were wide, desperate, wet with tears that did not fall.

After all, Souls could not cry.

"L-LET ME SPEAK!!! I’LL SPEAK!! I’LL TELL YOU EVERYTHING!!!"

He begged, as desperately as he could, lowering himself more than he ever did in front of Light.

Nux, however, tilted his head.

"You already spoke,"

He smiled lightly.

"A lot, actually.

You said how I forged everythi—"

Archon shook his head violently, not even letting Nux complete his words.

"No! No, I— I was lying! I was lying then!"

"Oh?"

Nux narrowed his eyes ever so slightly.

Then, he lifted his finger, and the needles that were already plunged into Archon’s body pressed in a little more.

"AAAAAGGGHHHHHH—! STOP! PLEASE STOP! I’LL SAY IT! I’LL SAY IT ALL!"

Archon howled again.

Nux lowered his finger.

The pressure eased, barely.

Archon gasped desperately. All thoughts regarding pride, saving his reputation, or even staying loyal to Light—

They all disappeared.

Things now became very apparent in his head.

Light was strong, he wouldn’t deny that.

Lady Seraphielle was strong too.

He wouldn’t deny that either.

But right now, none of that mattered. Light, Lady Seraphielle, or any other Infinities—none of them could be contacted, none of them could help him, and this man...

This... monster in front of him...

He was heartless.

A being with... no lower boundary.

Ever since he removed his soul from his body, he never once gave him a chance to speak. These thousands of needles—they weren’t plunged into his body because this monster asked something he refused to answer—

They were plunged... just because this monster wanted it.

He wanted him to scream and wither in pain.

And only now—only after he was satisfied by his screams—did he let him speak.

And Archon...

He did not want to give this chance away. This was no longer about pride or even survival; this was about... release.

"It’s real!"

He blurted out.

"It’s all real!

Everything you showed—everything—those memories are mine!

They’re real!"

"But you said I forged it. That my artifact was faulty."

Nux spoke. He looked like he was... pouting?

Whatever it was, it was a disgusting sight. Archon’s face twisted, but he quickly said the truth.

"No! Nothing was forged! Nothing! The artifact wasn’t faulty! It was my fault! I was lying! I was lying because I— I thought I could escape!"

Nux took a slow step forward.

"So you admit to everything that was shown?"

"I admit!"

Archon shouted instantly.

"I admit to everything! Every scene! Every death!"

"You aren’t saying this because you’re in pain and you want it to stop. Correct?"

Nux stared at him, genuinely curious, and the answer was instant.

"No! No, I’m not— I’m telling the truth! Please believe me! You should already know it! The artifact isn’t faulty—you know it!"

The lie he had decided to hide so desperately—now his desperation to reveal that same lie was multiple times stronger.

It was... quite an amusing sight.

"Why did you do it?"

Nux asked with a curious gaze.

Archon swallowed hard, but he didn’t make Nux wait, not even for a single moment.

"Because I wanted to look perfect! Because I wanted to be praised. Because I wanted Light to see me as... as loyal. As useful."

Nux nodded slightly.

"So you killed those who resisted."

He asked.

"Yes,"

Archon admitted instantly.

"I killed thousands. I erased every group that resisted. I called them rebels so it sounded clean. I told people it was for peace."

Nux’s voice remained quiet.

"And the worlds you ’converted’?"

"I forced them.

I took weaker worlds that stood near our routes and— I pushed Light’s doctrine into them. If they refused, I squeezed them until they broke.

If they fought back, I labeled them heretics.

I sent ’teachers’ first, holy men with smiles.

But behind them came soldiers.

Behind the soldiers came tribunals.

And behind the tribunals came... purifications."

Nux watched him closely.

"You also stole from those worlds."

He commented, and Archon nodded quickly.

"Yes! Resources! Ores, spirit herbs, life water—anything valuable! I took it and called it a ’contribution.’

Some worlds had nothing left after. Their lands collapsed. Their people starved. But if they complained, I punished them harder so no one else dared to complain."

"And why did you send all that to Light?"

Nux asked another question.

"Because Light rewards the useful! Because Light notices the loyal! Because if I fed the faction, my world gained protection, status, trade routes, influence—"

Archon blurted out, desperate to be understood.

He stopped mid-sentence, as if he realized how ugly it sounded, but at this point, it did not matter.

He said the truth out loud.

"I did it for power."

Nux’s expression didn’t change; after all, he already knew the truth.

"And when people in your world resisted you, not Light—what did you do?"

Again, Archon answered instantly.

"I broke them. I made them examples. I made their families disappear. I sometimes manipulated my people’s memories to make them forget those people ever existed. Then I erased all their records so no one would ever find out. And I punished anyone who tried to investigate."

"And Light never punished you?"

Nux asked, curious.

"You did all of this under Light’s eyes... and they never once found out about it?"

And for the first time since he began talking, Archon’s soul trembled. He was... hesitating. That hesitation, however, snapped away instantly when Nux raised his eyebrow.

"No."

Archon spoke directly.

Nux frowned.

"No... what?"

"They did not miss it."

Archon’s voice cracked. He then looked up at Nux, as if he was revealing something grand.

"Light knew."

For a moment, there was silence.

Nux wanted that silence to last, as if someone was seeing all this and he wanted to make an impact.

Then, he asked calmly—

"How do you know they knew?"

"Because I reported it,"

Archon admitted.

"I sent records. Light’s priests praised me for results. Light-born instructors watched the conversions. They watched the purifications. They watched the quotas enforced, and they never stopped me. Not even once. They only told me to keep it clean. To keep it quiet. To keep... the banner shining."

Nux stared at him.

"And if you were too cruel?"

He asked.

"They didn’t punish me. They... advised me.

They told me how to make it look righteous. They told me which words to use so mortals would blame themselves."

"So the Light that the Universe worshipped..."

Nux muttered, and Archon completed that sentence.

"It’s a story.

Their image, that holy face, that gentle voice—it is all a mask. A pretense. Behind it is...

Force.

Fear.

A system built on... obedience."

Then, as if he was realizing his mistake all at the same time—

"My world deserves to be attacked,"

He spoke suddenly.

"We were one of Light’s greatest supporters. We gathered resources, converted worlds, crushed resistance. We were one of the pillars of their system."

Then, he looked at Nux and nodded in understanding.

"If you want to hurt Light, you hit worlds like mine. Worlds that act holy while doing the dirtiest work. Worlds that keep Light’s image clean by committing sins in the shadows."

Nux watched him for a long time, then he nodded slowly.

"You are finally being honest."

Archon’s eyes lit up with desperate hope, like those words were his salvation.

"T-Then..."

He stammered.

"Then you’ll let me go...? I told you everything. I— I was honest. Please—"

"I thank you for that."

Nux’s tone remained gentle.

Archon’s soul shook with relief.

Then Nux continued.

"But our little contract is still pending."

Archon froze.

Nux tilted his head slightly in amusement.

"Twelve billion, three hundred and five thousand, one hundred years."

Archon’s face drained of all color—that wasn’t even physically possible since he was in his soul form.

"No... no, wait—!"

He tried to say something, anything that might save him, but—

Nux waved his hand, and Archon vanished, his soul and his body. Sent somewhere no one but Nux would be able to find.

And for a moment, the void went quiet.

Nux stood alone, staring at the empty space where Sarovan’s Progenitor had been.

Then he turned his head, slowly, as if he was looking at someone. As if he was looking... through something.

His eyes focused.

And he smiled.

The view shifted.

On the other side—

A group of Light-borns stood in a distant void, a place where Sarovan had once existed.

A screen of light hovered before them. The recording had played everything. Archon’s confession, his terror, his words.

The Light-borns had stiff faces. Most of them looked furious, while a select few seemed... worried.

And then Nux, on the screen, looked directly at them, like he could see each of their eyes, like distance meant... nothing.

Then his smile widened.

"Hello again,"

He spoke in an oddly friendly tone.

The Light-born commander’s jaw clenched.

Nux, on the other hand, shrugged.

"That was my answer."

He leaned closer to the screen, his expression turning colder.

"Answer to Light.

Answer to... Seraphielle."

The Light-borns stared ahead, not moving.

Nux spoke slowly, clearly, so every word would stick.

"I am going to reveal your true face in front of the entire Universe.

And no matter how desperately you try to stop me...

You will fail."

Nux paused for a moment, then leaned even closer, as if he was talking directly to Seraphielle.

"I’m coming for you,"

He spoke, a predatory look appearing on his face.

"Seraphielle Light.

Wait for me."

And with that—

The screen cut.

And the void went silent.
