Supreme Harem God System

Chapter 2290: Prove it.

Chapter 2290: Prove it.

"His actions are too convenient for it to be otherwise.

He has been constantly targeting just one of the four Factions, he has constantly stated he is doing it to reveal Light’s hypocrisy, I get that.

But I also understand that the other three Factions are no different, all of your factions are rotten to the core.

So why target just one? Especially when he has the power to disappear any time he desires."

Azriel explained his reasoning, something that only made the other Infinities frown, especially Orravyn.

"He is targeting Light because he wants us to think exactly like you are thinking right now.

It is an attempt to divide us."

"Or, he is doing it because one of you ordered him to."

"What...?"

Seraphielle narrowed her eyes. Azriel looked at her and—

"What? Does it not seem too intentional to you? Why target just you? Sure, divide and conquer, that I understand and that very much could be a plan but even then,

Why you? Just because it was convenient? You definitely weren’t the easiest target, neither were you the strongest.

It seemed like you were chosen almost... randomly.

And at the level we are, random is... suspicious."

Orravyn wanted to counter, he wanted to say that Light was chosen because calling out its hypocrisy was easy, that it gave the Anomaly a ’cause’, but he also understood that explaining that would only make the situation worse.

Plus, he knew Seraphielle was no fool either, so while he could see the Fifth Infinity was trying to manipulate her, succeeding in that was an entirely different scenario.

"While according to my theory, your weakening... will not only ease some of the pressure from another Infinity.

Your fall will also benefit them, at an individual level.

Say Eternity, for example. Before this, Light had the strongest reputation in history, they were considered fair and trustworthy, almost all neutral worlds leaned towards Light, but now that has changed. Now, Eternity has overtaken Light in that regard.

Even when Light Worlds are leaving, their number one choice is the Eternity Faction. That is certainly a motive at some level."

Azriel spoke as he exchanged looks between Seraphielle and Orravyn. The two Infinities also looked at each other, trying to understand what the other was thinking.

Azriel smiled at that and—

"The next is Darkness."

He spoke, looking at Ul’Thakar.

"The relationship between Light and Darkness couldn’t be clearer since... the beginning. If Light is weakened, it is obviously good for Darkness."

He stated the obvious, something both Seraphielle and Ul’Thakar had thought of before.

"The only one I cannot directly link with the situation is Balance, but then again, the information I have on you people is limited, so maybe I am missing something.

It is up to you to decide. I only know that the Four Infinities, the four Leaders of the Universe, beings who have been together for eras, do not trust each other.

And if you do not trust each other, I too have no reason to come to you and put myself in danger, nor do I plan on letting you roam around my world."

"We don’t even know where your world is."

Orravyn spoke, still trying to get something from the conversation.

"As I said, I do not wish to reveal that to you lot."

Azriel had the same answer and this time—

"You talk an awful lot."

Orravyn finally snapped.

"You have been pointing fingers at us ever since the conversation began, you kept saying how you do not trust us.

But in the end—

Aren’t you the most untrustworthy one amongst us all?

You are the one who was first seen with the Anomaly, defending and hiding him from us.

You are the one who is hiding from us and doesn’t wish to reveal where he is or what world he resides in.

You are the one who is trying to sow discord amongst us with your words.

And yet, somehow...

We are the suspicious ones!?"

The Infinity of Eternity raised his voice.

Azriel didn’t react, he just stayed silent, letting the conversation go on and allowing Orravyn to speak whatever he wanted.

"You know what I think?"

And that’s what Orravyn did, he started speaking.

"I think the Anomaly is with you.

He is working for you, he is your ultimate secret. A secret you forgot to hide from the Universe, so you needed to make a move yourself to make things right, revealing yourself in the process.

The Anomaly is your weapon, a weapon you plan on using against us, to tear us apart and later take what is ours.

You have been watching us for millions of years, craving all that power we hold for yourself, and it makes sense. You are an Infinity, one of the strongest beings in the Universe, you deserve power, but as strong as you are, you aren’t strong enough to take our power, not with the four of us still at our strongest.

So you plan to weaken us, using the Anomaly. And once we are weakened, that is when you plan on striking.

And today too, your intention isn’t giving us relevant information, it is to divide us, to make us fight amongst ourselves and perish,

So you can come reap the rewards."

Orravyn spoke, looking at Azriel with his hollow eyes.

The other Infinities stared at Azriel too, the directive was clear and Orravyn’s words were quite believable.

They, as Infinities, understood what another Infinity, who wasn’t at their level just because he was born later than them, must feel.

Using the Anomaly and the chaos to fit in and aim for more power was one of the most obvious paths for him.

Something every single one of them would have done.

But now...

Now when his plan was finally revealed—

Things would become much more difficult.

After all, the four of them had no intention of letting a Fifth one come in. They could already imagine the amount of chaos and unpredictability another addition would bring.

Not to mention...

If this being came into existence after Zylarith perished...

That would make him Zylarith’s successor and the last thing they wanted to do was to give a platform to someone who could potentially become another Zylarith in the future.

So yes, the Four Infinities had no intention of letting the Fifth Infinity grow, they would restrict him in every way possible, no matter what it took, even if it required the four of them to come together and move as one.

Yes, they were that serious.

And that could be seen from their faces.

Something Azriel read quite clearly as well and he—

He smiled.

"That is a good story."

He nodded, seemingly satisfied, staring at all the Infinities, then he looked just at Orravyn.

"You must be the one these three listen to, you have quite the say here, I can tell."

"That is quite an obvious and foolish attempt, I am the younges—"

Before Orravyn could say anything, Azriel interrupted.

"So you are saying that I am with the Anomaly and completely disregard my theory of the Anomaly being with one of you, correct?"

"I am not disregarding anything, I am just stating what feels most natural."

Orravyn answered calmly.

"And what if I prove you wrong? What if I prove I am not with the Anomaly?"

And there it was.

Orravyn paused, not saying anything.

But that didn’t mean every single person there was silent.

"How will you prove it?"

Seraphielle asked, her eyes lingering on Orravyn for a few more milliseconds than normal.

"I have my ways."

Azriel answered, then he looked into Seraphielle’s eyes and—

"But if I do prove I am right, then you know what that means, correct?"

He asked.

And this time, Seraphielle’s eyes changed. She once again looked at Orravyn, the man who was the first to shift all the blame on the Fifth, the one who benefited the most in this Anomaly situation and the man who... had the means to back up a being like the Anomaly, without anyone knowing.

If the Fifth was indeed right then Orravyn—

He would become the most suspicious.

"Seraphielle, do not listen to him. You are only helping him achieve what he wants."

Orravyn, understanding Seraphielle’s look, spoke directly.

Seraphielle didn’t say anything, she just continued to stare at the Infinity of Eternity and Orravyn clenched his fists.

"Prove it."

He spoke as he turned towards the Fifth Infinity.

"Prove that you are not with the Anomaly, I too wish to see how you are going to prove that."

It was clear what he wanted to do. Any proof the Fifth would have, he would refute it. After all, unless the Anomaly himself made it clear, there was nothing certain—

Except...

"Alright."

Azriel nodded.

Then, he raised his hand and—

THUNDER THUNDER THUNDER

RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE

The Universe reacted, not out of anger, out of... happiness.

Out of... familiarity.

And the moment the Infinities realized what was happening, their eyes widened in shock.

The Universe’s Child.

They...

They were talking to the man the very Universe had chosen to be its... Hero.
