Chapter 1093: Seven Beasts

In Idan’s eyes, this snake was one of the most powerful native beasts he had ever encountered. But he wasn’t of much interest to Prina. As a sixth-rank creature, she believed that any Platinum-rank beast was not worthy of her attention.

From the leader of the beasts, Idan’s gaze shifted to the remaining five powerful creatures.

The first in his field of vision was an elegant fox with a slender body, a long fluffy tail and fur shimmering with gold, orange and scarlet. Small sparks and flames seemed to dance around her. Her intelligent eyes looked straight at him with a slight mischief.

The next thing Idan saw was another snake, completely different from the previous one. It was smaller, with gray-black scales that seemed to be covered in a haze. His body seemed translucent, as if in a fog, and his eyes were cold, pale, and cunning.

The third was a lithe and powerful cat resembling a black panther. His body was covered with dark fur, under which embers seemed to be smoldering. His eyes, like smoldering embers, flickered on and off.

The two remaining creatures that entered through the huge holes in the cave were birds.

The first of them was a majestic bird with a long neck and powerful wings, whose feathers shimmered from gold to crimson like a living flame. Each flap of her wings left a glowing trail in the air.

The second bird is a swift and formidable predator with a strong body, sharp beak and wide wings. Its feathers were dark at the base and glowed with fire at the tips. The predator’s gaze was piercing, as was its origin.

Back then, being in the mysterious white space dotted with stars, Idan couldn’t use the {Eye of Identification} to get information. However, now that he was standing in front of these beasts, he couldn’t restrain his curiosity and used this ability.

In front of him, one by one, information about all seven beasts appeared.

The first thing that caught Idan’s attention were the names. All seven animals had their own names.

To check, he used the {Eye of Identification} on the other creatures present in the cave, but as he expected, the name string for all but these seven turned out to be empty.

While Idan was carefully examining them, the animals were no less intently examining him. He wasn’t wearing a {Ghost Mask}, so the other beasts, like the Fire Wolf, immediately recognized him as the Gatekeeper of the Central Gate.

However, feeling the fluctuations of the Gold Rank, everyone was confused.

No matter how much they stared and studied him, Idan didn’t look like the Legendary Blood Monster that, along with the Crazy Dragoness, terrified the Central Gate.

“This Fire Serpent is probably the famous Fire Dragon of the Eastern Gate,” Idan thought as he carefully studied the information about the beasts provided by the System. He began to compare the data he had received with those previously shared by the Awakened Ones who had encountered the Gatekeepers inside the Eastern Gate.

“Fire Fox, without a doubt, it’s a Three-Tailed Fire Fox.”

“The Smoky Serpent must be a Three-headed Hydra.”

“The Fire Shadow Cat is undoubtedly a Dark Mysterious Cat.”

“The Fire Wolf is a Hellish Three-Headed Wolf.”

“The Glowing Fire Bird is probably a Fire Phoenix.”

“But the Fire Falcon is a Fire Griffin.”

Idan compared the information he had received about these creatures, one by one.

But now Idan saw in front of him not the legendary creatures that terrified the Eastern Gate, but ordinary but evolved fire beasts.

“Perhaps the Dungeon, like it was with Belle and me, provided these beasts with the opportunity to create their avatars, take shape, and experience their future evolutionary paths?” Idan thought.

“Does this mean that all these seven beasts have the potential to become those legendary creatures?” His eyes burned with excitement as he looked at all of them in turn.

At the same time, Idan had an irresistible desire to recruit all these Beasts and even help with their evolution and become the one who would help the first Legendary Beasts appear on Earth.
