Chapter 1112: This is already superfluous…

Idan quickly drew up the terms of the fifth-rank soul contract. First of all, he included a full loyalty clause that strictly forbade Livia and the other two from committing any acts or even thinking about harming Idan, his family, or the interests of the Kingdom, whether directly or indirectly.

In addition, he included non-disclosure and subordination clauses in the contract. This obligated Libya and the other parties to the agreement to carry out all his orders in exchange for saving their lives and remaining cultivation.

Idan finished formulating the terms of the agreement and voiced them so that Livia, Saelina and the Envoy would clearly understand the situation they were in.

“Now choose: death or submission?”

Idan nodded to Prina, and she loosened her grip a little so that the three captives could put their soul marks on the contract.

Seeing that they were still doubtful, he raised the Dark Queen Sword and added:

“Any option is fine with me.”

Seeing the shining runes of the Dark Sword and realizing its danger, Livia was the first to put her soul mark on the contract, showing her willingness to obey.

She was immediately followed by Saelina and the Envoy.

Idan was the last to put his seal on the contract, activating the Soul Contract agreement.

His power was imprinted in the soul of each signatory of this agreement.

When the contract was concluded, Prina approached Livia and, before releasing her, touched her forehead with her index finger, on the tip of which a spark of darkness flickered.

Livia, still shackled, could not resist and allowed Prina to introduce something dark and gloomy into her consciousness, which, having penetrated inside, disappeared.

Knowing the peculiarities of the element of darkness, Livia realized that it did not disappear, but hid inside her, and this made her heart shrink even more.

“What did you do?” asked Idan.

“I planted a seed of Darkness in her mind as a precaution,” Prina replied honestly. “If she somehow manages to get rid of your soul contract, I will find out about it and activate a seed that will corrupt her mind, making it so that no one can extract information from her.”

Livia trembled with fear.

“But don’t worry. Until her rank and abilities surpass mine, she will not be able to get rid of this seed,” Prina hastened to assure, freeing all three captives by withdrawing her hair.

Freed from Prina’s hair, Livia fell to her knees, looking down, realizing the hopelessness of her situation.

In this regard, Saelina and the Envoy looked at each other and at her with concern.

“This is already superfluous…” Idan wanted to say to Prina, but kept it to himself.

Ryan, who was already on his feet by this time, breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that his Patroness was still alive.

As for the Soul Contract, even if he wanted to, he couldn’t change anything. Moreover, as it seemed to him, the terms of the contract were not so harsh.

Ryan’s gaze fell on the back of a young man with shining hair.

He still didn’t know who it was.

But he clearly remembered his words about the blood relationship with him.

On the one hand, he wanted to be wrong. The mistake is that this guy has something to do with his father, the man who abandoned him and his mother. The man his mother still suffered for.

Ryan swore to himself that he would never be like his father.

He will never make a woman wait for a man who is no longer going to return.

Ryan wasn’t indifferent to girls. It was just that every time someone looked at him too warmly, he remembered his mother. Her quiet smile that hid the pain. Her eyes, in which the hope had lived for years that the person who abandoned them would one day return.

That’s why Ryan kept his distance.

Not because he despised feelings. On the contrary, because he knew their value too well.

If he wasn’t ready to take responsibility for the girl, if he couldn’t honestly say that he would stay by her side, he had no right to make the first move. He had no right to give hope for the sake of fleeting warmth.

While Ryan was lost in thought, Idan turned his attention to the Ifrit.

“Saelina,” he said to her.

As a clan elder from the middle circle, Saelin, who was already used to obeying the Ancient Clans and the Council, quickly settled into her new position, and the fear began to recede.

“Is Damian Blake your contractor?” asked Idan.

Ryan, hearing the name of an acquaintance, was distracted from his thoughts.

“Yes,” Saelina nodded, confirming his guess.

“Great. Do you know where he is?”

“He’s in the Dungeon,” Ryan answered instead of Saelina, drawing attention to himself.

“In the dungeon? What is he doing there?” wondered Idan.

Ryan said nothing.

After a short silence, Idan turned to the Envoy.

“Cecile,” he said, surprising and startling her at the same time, because she didn’t expect him to know her name.

“Eh? Yes?” The Envoy quickly and respectfully bowed.

After Idan subdued all three women, he used the {Eye of Identification} without fear to find out their basic information, including their names.

“Go to the Dungeon Gate and wait for Damian to come out. Then bring him here,” he ordered Cecile.

Cecile hesitated and instinctively glanced at Livia, who was still in a state of shock. She then shifted her gaze to Saelina.

“Go,” Saeline nodded, and only then, after bowing, Cecile, still in fright, hurried out of the room.

“Okay, stop being so dramatic, get up,” Idan said, addressing Livia.

She slowly raised her head, but the old confidence and gentleness in her gaze was gone— only emptiness and lack of will.

“Tsch!” — Idan clicked his tongue. “That won’t do, I need you in your normal state, not in a corpse state.”

The damage to Livia’s vitality was too noticeable, and in order to fix it and not arouse suspicion, Idan decided to purchase Rank 5 vitality restoration potions in the “Trade” function.

“Here, drink it and get yourself cleaned up,” he handed the potion to Livia.

She, still devastated, couldn’t refuse his orders, so she took the potion.

It was only when the potion was in her hands that she felt the incredible vitality hidden in this tiny vial.

She almost dropped it in surprise. A spark finally appeared in her empty eyes, and she looked at Idan in disbelief.

But he was no longer paying attention to her.

“Prina, please keep an eye on these two while Ryan and I leave for a while,” Idan asked, opening the Access Portal leading to the Kingdom with a wave of his hand.

“Leave it to me,” — Prina didn’t object.

“Okay,” Idan nodded and turned to his older brother.

“Well, Ryan, please come in. There’s someone waiting for you,” Idan said, and his older brother frowned.

Ryan looked at the unknown portal and then at Idan.

“Who? Who’s waiting for me?”

“And who can wait for you if not your mother?” Idan asked with a smile.

Ryan’s calm collapsed as soon as he heard about his mother. Then he almost exploded with anger, suggesting that this young man had captured his mother.

“Don’t get so angry ahead of time, not knowing the truth,” Idan said, releasing his Soul Force and grabbing Ryan, pushing him inside the portal by force.

Then, with a nod to Prina, he followed Ryan into the portal and returned to the Kingdom.
