Chapter 1132: Ryan’s choice.

“First of all, I want to emphasize that Belle and I gave Grandma these pills for a reason. It was our sign of support. We wanted to make it clear to her that age is not a sentence. That she can continue to live, develop and move forward. Without looking back, not as an old family head who only watches over the young, but as someone who still has a future.”

Saying these words, Idan lightly tapped on the second box and looked at Estelle, who, embarrassed, averted her eyes.

“Estelle is still young, she has her whole life ahead of her, and these pills are not so important to her. But I understand a woman’s desire to look beautiful and desirable.”

His words confused Estelle even more, and she realized how ridiculous it was to dream of such a thing.

After a short silence, when Eleanor came and sat up straight, looking at her grandson and listening to his words, but without interfering, he turned to Ryan and said:

“I’m not selling you pills, Ryan.”

Ryan clenched his fists tightly, trying not to show his disappointment.

Estelle looked sad, and Eleanor frowned.

“Let me ask you, Ryan, who are you going to be here? A guest who seeks protection and leaves as soon as he feels comfortable? Or a man who accepts the place where his mother and brothers live?”

Ryan looked up and met Idan’s gaze. Then he looked down at the box, at his grieving mother, and finally at his younger brothers.

“Do you want me to join you and become a part of this place?” he asked.

Idan nodded.

“Previously, we could afford uncertainty. Not anymore. It is no longer just a shelter or a family home. It’s a Kingdom. Everyone who stays within its borders must have their own status, and no one can stay here without accepting the rules of this place.”

“Recognize the laws of the Kingdom, do not divulge its secrets, protect it and do not betray it. Swear that you will never let anyone use Estelle or the twins against us,” he continued, and his words were addressed not only to Ryan, but also to Estelle and Eleanor.

“If you acknowledge and pledge allegiance to the Kingdom, I will give you these pills,” Idan stated, making his condition.

He stared at Ryan, who was deep in thought, his eyes downcast.

Estelle took her son’s hands, making it clear that she would support him in any decision.

Eleanor couldn’t help but admire Idan and nodded with satisfaction. At the same time, her mind began to work on how to help her grandson with his Kingdom. And, of course, the first thing that came to her mind was her own Blake family, who had long since lost their way.

During these few days, Ryan saw and heard a lot of amazing things and was able to get an idea of what this place, known as the Kingdom, is like.

To be honest, he was amazed… no, even shocked by how wonderful this place was, not to mention the power hidden in it.

Realizing this, he couldn’t help but feel envious of his younger brother Idan, who, as it turned out, was the master and leader of this amazing place.

In addition, Idan was married to a beautiful woman who was carrying his child. He was very strong himself, and the fame of his strength couldn’t help but reach Ryan’s ears.

“Okay, I agree.”

Estelle squeezed her son’s hand tightly, fearing that he had made this choice because of her desire. Although she wanted Ryan to join this place and be there for her, deep down she wished it was his own choice, not a forced move.

“It’s my choice, Mom,” Ryan assured her, trying to calm her down.

“Really?” Estelle clarified, and only after making sure of his determination, she was able to relax and give her son a smile.

“I, Ryan Arden, Estelle Arden’s son, swear to abide by the laws of the Kingdom, keep its secrets, protect it, and not betray it. I also promise never to let anyone use my mother Estelle Arden and my younger brothers against the Kingdom.”

“Okay, I accept your oath,” Idan nodded and held out the box, but before Ryan could take it, he added:

“It’s not just my Kingdom. Arabel is with me, and her word carries weight within its boundaries. I am the King, and she is my Queen. If you stay here, you will recognize not only my authority, but also its place.”

“Yes, I understand,” Ryan confirmed, carefully picking up the box and handing it to his mother.

“Ryan…” Estelle couldn’t hold back her tears.

If it hadn’t been for Noah, who began to fall asleep in her arms, she would have hugged her eldest son.

“Thank you, Idan,” Estelle said, lowering her head. “Not only for this, but for everything. For revealing the truth about him to us and giving us a place in your house. Thank you.”

Idan just smiled back in silence.

After a short pause in the conversation, he said:

“I see boys falling asleep in their arms. It would be better to take them away and put them to sleep,” Idan suggested and immediately added:

“Grandma, Ryan, I want to discuss an important issue with you, but let’s put it off for an hour or two. I want Aunt Amanda to participate in this conversation too.”

Good. I’ll send one of my maids to find Amanda and invite her here,” Eleanor agreed, and, taking her youngest grandson from Ryan, she and Estelle went to put the boys to bed.

When Idan was alone with Ryan, he looked at him intently. The fluctuations of a Silver-ranked being were still coming from Ryan.

Now that Ryan wasn’t a Contractor, he had to improve on his own. And most importantly, he did not follow the Path of Mastery, but cultivated the Path of Magic.

For further development, Ryan needed to receive a separate manual on the Path of Fire Magic.

Or Ryan should change his bloodline and evolve along the Path of the Bloodline.
