Chapter 1141: Ash

Chapter 1141: Ash

After giving Sierra the artifacts and setting her a task, Idan left the prison. Of the four artifacts he bought, he kept the last one for himself.

He hadn’t forgotten about it. On the contrary, he already had another purpose for this artifact.

Idan intended to give it to Irene so that she could test the affinity of the ordinary inhabitants of the Kingdom for the elements. If there are people with the right potential among them, the next step will be to find a way to awaken their innate element.

This task was not urgent, but its importance could be enormous.

The kingdom needed more than just strong allies and subordinates. He needed his own people who could grow up with him.

Idan realized this more and more clearly. He could no longer think only of himself.

After all, he was the King of this Kingdom.

Having finished with that, Idan felt like many important things had finally moved forward.

Now he could go back to what he had been putting off.

Towards your own development. Specifically, to explore the strangeness of his True Golden Fire and his Symbiotic Creature of Fire.

Idan, using his power, examined the Fire Elemental Tree.

It used to be his favorite place for meditation, but now it has become the center of attraction for most of the fiery creatures in the Kingdom.

A similar pattern was observed on the opposite side.

Many representatives of the Ice Element gathered around the Ice Elemental Tree.

“Tsch!” — Idan clicked his tongue in displeasure.

He needed peace and quiet to figure out his abilities. He didn’t want anyone watching him.

However, he couldn’t just disperse everyone.

As a result, Idan moved to a more peaceful place at the top of the hill. Once there, he stared in fascination at the beautiful view of the fire elemental tree and the many beasts that had gathered around it.

On the horizon, in the direction of the center of the Kingdom, he noticed the outlines of buildings.

“What a beautiful view,” Idan thought, and after enjoying the moment a little more, he sat down and closed his eyes.

Before diving into the study of the Golden Fire, he decided to better understand his symbiotic being.

“As Belle said, I can feel it presence, but it’s dormant at the moment.”

This creature was different from his contracted creatures. While his contracts were independent and existed separately from him, the symbiotic creature could not leave him. And when he didn’t need his help, it slumbered peacefully.

“It feels so weird.”

Idan tried to call or wake the creature, but it did not respond to his calls.

“Maybe if…” He remembered that this creature was a Creature of Fire.

He raised his hand and created a small flame. As soon as the flame appeared, Idan felt a response from the creature.

It’s awake.

“As I thought, it reacts to the element of fire.”

But soon, as if finding nothing interesting in the ordinary flame, the creature began to doze off again.

“Hey, wait, buddy,” Idan called, and this time, as if the creature had heard him, it responded. Although it couldn’t speak, its emotions were so expressive that Idan sensed its keen interest.

“Show me what you can do, buddy,” Idan said, trying to figure out what advantages it could give him.

He couldn’t forget how the Symbiotic Creature of Darkness animated the hair of the creatures of darkness, allowing them to control them.

As for the Symbiotic Creature of Fire, Idan himself wasn’t sure what it could do.

Moreover, he had never seen it used by Elira and other creatures from the World of Fire.

After waiting for a while, Idan began to feel a little disappointed, because he did not feel anything unusual.

However, he suddenly noticed a strange thing: the flame that he had previously lit continued to burn without his participation, even though he had stopped supporting it.

Without taking his eyes off the flame, Idan reached out and touched it.

His eyes widened in realization.

It was his own flame, but supported and controlled by a symbiotic creature of fire.

Immediately, Idan transformed into an Alpha of Fire and created ten fiery blades around himself. This was his limit of his effectiveness. More than ten were difficult for him, reducing the effectiveness of his attacks.

“Come on…” Idan began, but suddenly stopped, thinking about giving this creature a nickname instead of addressing him as “buddy.”

“Ash. What do you think of that name?” — He suggested.

And immediately he received a positive response.

“Okay, from now on I’ll call you Ash,” Idan decided, and feeling the joy of the creature, he smiled, sharing it with him.

“Ash, try to take control of my blades,” Idan asked. And then, as in the case of the flame, Idan did not notice at first how he lost control of the blades.

No… it was something else. On the one hand, it seemed like he no longer had control over them, but on the other hand, the blades were moving exactly as he wanted them to.

“That’s how it is. Ash reads my intentions and acts the way I want!” appreciated Idan, and his eyes lit up with excitement.

To test his theory, Idan created ten more fire blades.

“Ash, try to take them under control too,” Idan asked, and to his delight, Ash successfully completed the task.

“Twenty blades! That’s twice as much!”

He didn’t stop there and created ten more blades. But when he asked Ash to take control of them, he felt the symbiote tense up. Although Ash was able to control them, their effectiveness decreased.

After a few tries, Idan stared at the fire blades, checking the connection.

There were still ten blades in front of him, which he controlled directly. He could feel every blade, every flame fluctuation, every facet created by his will. However, there were twenty more blades moving next to them, and they didn’t require him to focus as much as before.

Ash controlled them.

The creature did not take control from him or suppress his will. It was as if it occupied an empty space next to his mind, taking on those tasks that Idan simply could not hold at the same time before.

Idan set the tone and overall rhythm of the battle, while Ash calculated the movements, maintained the shape and controlled the blades as if they were an extension of their common will.

“Thirty…”— Idan’s eyes flashed. — Ten of mine and twenty of Ash’s.”

He clenched his fist, and all the blades simultaneously froze in the air, forming a flaming sphere around him.

Previously, ten was his limit. Thirty was now his new combat level.
