Chapter 1145: Is something wrong?

“Has she acquired the Lava Dragon bloodline?”

No matter how Idan looked at this cocoon, it resembled the one Ryan was currently in after taking a potion that changed his bloodline.

While Idan was carefully examining the cocoon, Milica appeared next to him and said:

“I think so too.”

Even for her, a seventh-ranked being, it was amazing to watch the result of the intervention of ninth-ranked beings.

Milica didn’t know exactly what had happened, but she had a suspicion that, most likely, the dragon’s parents had given this girl, Hailey, their bloodline at the request of their spoiled son.

Idan looked at his master, and then at the baby dragon, who was holding onto the top of the cocoon tightly.

“Look who’s so proud here.”

Idan smiled, looking at the silly baby dragon’s face.

“Graaaaa!” the baby dragon growled, sticking out its tongue.

“Yeah, you did great, kid.”

Idan clearly felt through their contract how the dragon was waiting for praise for his actions and the help provided to Hailey.

And, of course, he wanted to receive a reward — a candy.

Idan took out a candy from his spatial ring and accurately threw it into the baby dragon’s open mouth.

“Master.”

Idan turned to Milica.

“If you don’t mind, would you join me after the rest? I would like to ask for your help in training.”

Milica looked at Idan with a smile, and a spark lit up in her eyes.

“Sure, why not? After all, I am your master.”

Idan nodded to her with satisfaction, and then, releasing the others, teleported the cocoon with Hailey to the fiery part of the Kingdom. The cocoon greedily absorbed the fire element from the environment.

“It’s going to take her a while to get out of it.”

No matter how hard Idan tried, he couldn’t even make out Hayley’s outline inside the cocoon. There was only a solid thick lava.

“I hope she’s okay.”

Tearing his gaze away, he looked at the dragon, who was not going to let go of the cocoon.

“Okay, kid, keep an eye on her. If you need anything, call me.”

“Graaa!”

The dragon nodded in agreement.

Leaving the dragon, Idan moved to the top of the hill and looked towards the Fire Elemental Tree.

It was no longer glowing with golden flames, but had returned to its normal state.

During the last day, while waiting for Elira, Idan thought a lot, trying to figure out how to achieve his Golden Fire. He realized that just sitting and waiting was not an option.

The epiphany couldn’t come by itself.

“In order to understand my own Golden Fire, I need to study and analyze others’. And the more, the better.”

Ash responded, supporting this train of thought.

“Well, it’s time to visit Belle.”

Temporarily putting aside thoughts of True Fire, Idan teleported to Essora’s house.

One day has passed for him again, while ten days have passed for his wife.

It was time for their next outing.

At Essora’s house, Idan was no longer greeted by a cheerful red-haired beauty, but by a beauty with long white hair. Her cold gaze immediately melted away as soon as her azure eyes met his.

“Dan, you’re here!”

She happily threw herself into the arms of Idan, who deftly caught her and hugged her tightly.

Ten days spent alone as the Valkyrie of Ice had dulled her senses somewhat, creating an invisible barrier around her. However, upon seeing him, that barrier collapsed, and all the accumulated emotions gushed out.

His warm embrace. She missed them so much, and not wanting to let go, she seemed to stick to him.

“Huh?”

Arabel suddenly felt a warm feeling spreading inside her.

“Is something wrong?”

Idan became worried when he saw his wife abruptly move away and clutch her stomach.

His worried gaze filled Arabel with such warmth and tenderness that she couldn’t help but smile.

“No, nothing.”

She shook her head.

“It’s just… our baby seems to sense your presence.”

Idan’s eyes widened, and he stared at his wife’s slightly protruding belly.

He reached for her with his hand, but stopped and, looking up, asked:

“May I?”

Arabel laughed and grabbed his hand, pulling him to her and placing it on her stomach.

“Of course you can. But be careful with your Soul Force, don’t harm the protective energy.”

Idan froze in place, refusing to use his Soul Force, frightened by her warning.

Instead, he tried to just tactically feel something.

And here it is — the feeling! The warmth that even Ash had awakened inside him.

“The element of fire?”

Idan raised his eyes and looked at Arabel in disbelief.

Arabel, with a slight smirk on her face, replied:

“Well, someone was in the form of an Alpha of Fire when we conceived him.”

For the first time in a long time, Idan’s face turned slightly red with embarrassment as he recalled that legendary night battle.

“Isn’t it dangerous?”

Fire and ice are two opposite elements, and knowing that Arabel is now in the form of an Ice Valkyrie, Idan couldn’t help but worry.

“Not at the moment.”

Arabel gently stroked her stomach.

“But according to the older sisters, the situation may worsen in the future. So, Dan…”

Arabel raised her eyes and looked at him.

“I hope you’ll be there to help me?”

Idan, seeing her concern, pulled her to him and hugged her.

“Of course I will, silly, where will I go?”

The excitement that had flared up immediately disappeared as soon as Arabel heard his confident words.

After a moment of silence, Idan lowered his gaze and gently kissed Arabel on the forehead.:

“Shall we go for a walk?”

Arabel silently nodded in agreement, and soon, as before, they began to stroll leisurely through their Kingdom, enjoying the silence in each other’s company.

While walking, Idan received a message from Prina through the {Whisper Talisman}. She reported that all three women were with her.

“Who is this?” asked Arabel.

Instead of answering, Idan suggested:

“Let’s go visit Geminia.”

Arabel nodded in agreement, and they teleported to the entrance of the auction house.

Accompanied by the staff, they went inside and soon found themselves in Geminia’s strange house, where she was already waiting for them, having just brewed new tea.

As soon as Arabel crossed the threshold, Geminia’s gaze immediately fell on her stomach. Arabel noticed this and stroked her stomach with a smile.

After greeting and saying a few words, Idan opened the Access Portal, from where three fiery beauties appeared one after another. The last to come out was a teenage girl in black.

Seeing Prina’s smile fade, Idan realized belatedly that he had made a mistake.
