Chapter 1147: The City of Five Seals

Chapter 1147: The City of Five Seals

[Ding! A new Global System Announcement has been received in the “Local Systems Network”!]

[GLOBAL EVENT: THE DUNGEON SIMULATOR HAS BEEN CONQUERED FOR THE FIRST TIME!]

“Yeah! Yes! Yes! We did it!”

A wounded, muscular guy with red hair, barely able to stand on his feet, screamed loudly, not taking his eyes off the First Guardian of the City of Five Seals, who finally fell and began to crumble into ashes.

They did it!

They killed the dungeon’s boss, a fifth—rank creature.

With the death of the boss, the vortex of darkness that threatened to engulf the entire city, but was stopped at the last moment by three beings of light belonging to the raid group, began to dissipate.

The army of the dead, which had held back the stream of fiends of darkness under the command of Lord of the Dead until the last, froze when the enemies began to crumble into ashes after the First Guardian.

Three beings of light descended from the sky. One of them, a beautiful maiden with four shining wings, illuminated the battlefield with a healing light that touched all those who survived this final confrontation.

All the survivors couldn’t take their eyes off the two girls who were sitting next to the place where the First Guardian had just died.

One of them had long blonde hair, brown eyes, and a damaged Guild uniform. On her chest was a coat of arms with a castle on the background and a large letter “K”.

The other girl had long white hair, and there was an otherworldly light in her eyes.

Both girls were completely exhausted and breathing heavily.

But despite this, they looked at each other, and smiles began to play on their faces. They did not let their comrades down and were able to meet their expectations.

[The First Guardian has been defeated! The City of Five Seals has been conquered by the forces of an 18-member raid group!]

[The names of all the heroes will be immortalized on the Achievement Wall.]

[The Dungeon Store is now available]

[The title of the Pioneer of the Dungeon Simulator has been obtained]

[10,000 System Points received]

[Gain Core Received]

[Received a Rare Rank Chest]

A series of notifications from the System flashed before Irene’s eyes.

Just when she thought that was it, a new message popped up in front of her.:

[As a reward for the last hit to the Dungeon Boss received: A fragment of the Core of the First Guardian]

“A Fragment of the Core of the First Guardian?” Irene couldn’t help but say it out loud.

“Oh! Did you get it too?” the white-haired girl sitting next to her exclaimed in surprise.

Irene turned to her and, noticing the smile on her face, couldn’t help but ask:

“Did you get it too?”

“Yes,” she nodded proudly. “It’s wonderful that the Dungeon didn’t choose just one of us, but rewarded both of us at once.”

“Yeah,” Irene agreed, remembering their last strike together, which had taken down the Boss.

As soon as Irene thought about what would happen next, a notification appeared in front of her:

[There are 15 minutes left before the forced exit from the Dungeon Simulator.]

“So we have 15 minutes.”

With a deep sigh, Irene looked up and saw three beings of light, the last remaining members of her team.

Not everyone was able to reach the finals. Of the entire raid group, consisting of 18 people, only seven remained.

Four of her team, including herself, survived, and two were eliminated.

The girl who was sitting next to her had no one left but herself. All five members of her team were knocked out at the hands of the boss.

And in the third group, the leader of which was a gloomy guy with the nickname “Lord of the Dead”, there was only himself and a muscular, loud-mouthed guy with red hair.

The radiance of Lucinda’s light quickly healed the wounds of the survivors. She, Milena, and Ned, in the guise of the Lumiar race, descended next to Irene.

“I can’t believe you did it,” Milena said excitedly, looking at Irene and the white—haired girl.

“Soul Queen and I had to do it. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have forgiven us.”

Irene smiled, and her gaze fell on Lord of the Dead, who had his army of the dead standing behind him. The last to arrive was a muscular guy with the nickname Triple S Breaker, who literally glowed with joy.

“That’s for sure! We would never forgive you!” he exclaimed. “To be honest, I panicked when the boss’s rank rose to the fifth rank after removing the fifth seal and removing the invulnerability status.”

“Indeed,” everyone agreed.

No team had ever reached this stage of the boss battle before them, and so when they broke the fifth seal, they acted blindly.

They did not panic and were able to navigate the situation, keep the chaos from falling on them and bring the battle to a decisive moment, although they lost 11 members of the raid group.

And it was only the realization that this was just a simulator and death was not final that helped them stay calm and enjoy this difficult victory.

Irene and Soul Queen exchanged glances and, after looking at Lord of the Dead, decided to share what they got for the final hit on the boss.

——————–

**Fragment of the Core of the First Guardian**

An artifact that allows the user to summon the Shadow of the First Guardian of the fifth Rank for a certain number of System Points. The Shadow will fight on the summoner’s side for three minutes.

*The cost of conscription: 1000 System points.

*Cooldown after use: 1 earth day.

——————–

“Wow! The opportunity to summon a fucking boss?” — Breaker did not hold back in his expressions. He turned to his leader, wanting to hear his opinion. Of the three, only their team did not receive such an award.

“Keep it for yourself,” Lord of the Dead said bluntly, showing no interest in the artifact.

“No, that won’t do. We can’t just let it go,” Irene shook her head. “Everyone knows that in this boss fight, everyone fought to the limit of their abilities, and the contribution of each member of the group was important.”

Lord of the Dead remained silent. He was always a man of few words, and usually the other members of his group spoke for him. However, now, of all those who were with him, only the one who knew how to shout loudly remained.

“What about the System Points?” asked Irene, glancing at Soul Queen.

“Can we chip in 2,500?” she suggested.

“I agree,” Irene nodded, and both girls turned to Lord of the Dead.

“Okay, I agree,” he said without objection. In recent days, System Points have been worth their weight in gold for everyone.

Having dealt with this issue, Irene and Soul Queen transferred 2,500 System Points to Lord of the Dead. When their allotted time was up, everyone was thrown out of the Dungeon Simulator.

However, before parting ways, they agreed to meet in the future at the Nexus.

They had no idea that outside of the Dungeon, their nicknames were reverberating all over the world. Some fragments of their final Boss battle were posted on the Local Systems Network by a user with the nickname “Coco the Fox”.
