Chapter 1158: Idan and Ina.

Chapter 1158: Idan and Ina.

“Are you sure you don’t want to go out again?” Idan asked, noticing Arabel struggling to bring herself back to the time room.

“To be honest, I would like to, but I also want to give birth as soon as possible and join you,” Arabel confessed. “So please don’t tempt me. It’s getting harder for me every time.”

“If that’s the case, then there’s no need to wait ten days. Go out and have fun whenever you want, don’t force yourself,” Idan suggested.

Arabel bit her lip and nodded.

Idan watched Arabel enter the time room.

After standing for a while, he used his authority over the Kingdom and, finding Cyrion and the Fire Falcon, asked them to come to the designated place.

Then he looked around his house and was surprised to see a lone figure sitting on the terrace in his favorite armchair. Without thinking twice, he moved there.

He didn’t need to watch for long to realize that his younger sister was deep in thought, as she hadn’t noticed his arrival. Surprisingly, she was alone. She usually spent time with her friend Laura and the other teenagers at this time, but she wasn’t around today.

Come to think of it, Idan didn’t see much of his younger sister.

And it wasn’t just that he didn’t have enough time, but also that their first meeting wasn’t the most pleasant.

Considering the events that had happened in their family in recent days, Idan did not ignore her and decided to talk. He came over and sat next to her, not across from her.

Ina had been sitting in the chair for some time. Initially, she came to see her nephews… no, her younger brothers, as she understood it.

Remembering how the boys had finally fallen asleep, she couldn’t help but smile. One of them pouted comically in his sleep, the other squeezed the edge of the blanket with small fingers.

But then there was silence. The silence that made her leave the bedroom.

It was easier for her when the babies were awake. She needed to hand over a toy, adjust a pillow, say something soft to them, make sure they didn’t quarrel. It was all simple. Understandable. The right one.

But now they were asleep, and Ina was alone again with what she was trying to hide from.

She had a father.

A living father.

She had two older brothers.

And the two younger ones who are sleeping in the house right now. She had a grandmother, whose existence she hadn’t even suspected until recently. One day, her small family became huge, but for some reason that didn’t make Ina feel any less lonely.

She looked down at her palms.

She wanted her mother by her side. She really wanted to. But Mom was with him now. With her father.

Ina didn’t know how to think about him now.

Enjoy it? Should she be angry? Or should she come up and call him Dad?

Or look at him as someone who has been a part of the lie for so long?

She didn’t know.

And this ignorance made her chest feel heavy.

She was just a mortal girl. An ordinary girl. Too ordinary among people who knew how to hide pain behind calm faces, make terrible decisions and live with the consequences for many years.

Ina couldn’t do that. She didn’t even know how she should feel right now.

She thought of the sleeping boys again.

“It’s good that you’re still young,” she thought. “You don’t need to understand anything yet.”

And then, for some reason, that thought made it even more painful for her.

Suddenly, she noticed someone sitting next to her. Looking up, she saw him — her older brother.

Idan smiled at her, and she blinked several times in surprise and hurriedly looked away.

She hadn’t expected to see him at all. Besides, she didn’t think he cared about her at all.

Idan’s smile faltered when he saw Ina’s reaction, and he sighed and looked away.

An awkward silence fell between the siblings.

Neither of them knew where to start the conversation.

Ina glanced at her brother from time to time and couldn’t help but notice how handsome he was.

Too handsome.

She hurriedly turned away and frowned.

“Why does he have to be my brother at all?” she thought irritably. “Why can’t he be an ordinary person?”

This thought made Ina even more embarrassed. She knew that such thoughts were stupid and even wrong, but she couldn’t help herself.

Of course, Idan didn’t know what she was thinking. He only noticed how her face became even more tense, and mistakenly assumed that she might be angry or afraid of him.

“Are you mad at me?”

“Huh? What?” — Ina looked at him in surprise.

After a short silence, she lowered her eyes.

“I… I do not know,” she said softly.

Although Ina’s answer wasn’t very clear, Idan still felt relieved.

He looked at Ina. She’s only 14 years old, and most importantly, she hasn’t even graduated from high school yet.

“The school…”

The word suddenly lingered in Idan’s mind.

Normally, Ina would sit at her desk, listening to teachers, arguing with classmates, doing homework, and thinking about things that had nothing to do with Disaster, beasts, conflicts, and the innate elements.

However, the old life was left far behind.

Even if Ina could go back to a regular school, would that be enough?

No.

Now she needed other knowledge.

Knowledge of power. About the elements. About beasts. About the factions. About how to hide her abilities, how to protect herself, and how not to become a weak point for her family and Kingdom.

Idan frowned slightly.

He could provide her with resources and protection, open a path for her. But he wasn’t sure if he could be a good teacher for her.

“She needs a mentor”, — He thought.

A woman who is strong, educated and patient, able to take Ina under her care, teach her the basics and help her adapt to a new world.

However, the next thought made Idan stop.

What about the others?

Ina wasn’t the only one in the Kingdom. Children, young people, and new subordinates — future warriors, tamers, and magicians-already lived here. Everyone had their own talent and their own path. But if you give people power without knowledge, it can lead to unpredictable consequences.

The Kingdom needed more than just strength.

Not just laws.

Not just the walls.

It needed a school.

No, it’s not a simple school.

An alternative name popped into Idan’s head.

The Academy.

A place where the inhabitants of the Kingdom could learn everything they need to survive, develop, and serve this place.

Idan slowly looked away from Ina and looked towards the window.

This idea was still vague and far away, it required efforts to bring it to life. They needed people, facilities, books, mentors, and rules.

But it was already firmly ingrained in his mind.

The Kingdom needed its own knowledge system.
