Chapter 1250: Grand Elder
Chapter 1250: Grand Elder
“Who’s hurting my disciple here?”
The suffocating aura of Milica, a seventh-rank being, which appeared at the moment of restoring her connection to the Domain and the Law, exerted pressure on the Valkyries and the members of the Sword Sect.
The faces of the sixth-rank Lightning Valkyrie and the sixth-rank Swordsman from the Sword Sect became sharper and more cautious.
The elf who appeared between the Valkyries and the Sword Sect as a third party looked at Milica in awe and respectfully bowed to her.
Lightning rumbled in the sky, and it seemed like disaster was about to break out. However, after reaching the peak, everything began to calm down.
Milica’s aura, which had been like a broken dam before, began to weaken gradually. She took control of her power and lowered her rank to the fifth limit of the “lower layer” of Junonia, before being recognized as violating the restrictions of this layer.
Only then could everyone finally catch their breath.
“Grand Elder,” said the elf, raising his head.
“Elder,” she greeted him with a nod, even though she didn’t know who he was.
She had been trapped in Limbo for too long, and a lot could have changed in that time.
Milica looked at everyone present, and then stopped at Idan.
“Idan,” she called, and he understood her request without further ado, dispelled his fire blades and canceled the transformation, as well as all the powerups.
He then stepped back, leaving his Master to deal with the situation. And he came over and removed the “Front Door”.
Milica stepped forward and, seeing that no one else appeared, asked from a position of strength:
“Who are you? And for what reason are you targeting my disciple?”
When Milica’s gaze fell on the Lightning Valkyrie, she coldly glanced at Idan and introduced herself.:
“Vaira Thunderial”.
After the introduction, her gaze turned back to Idan.:
“Where is she? Where is Lina Thunderial?”
“Eh? Who? Lina?” Idan feigned surprise, as if he didn’t understand what she was talking about.
A spark flashed in Vaira’s eyes, but it quickly disappeared.
“I do not know any Lina,” Idan replied calmly.
Of course, Vaira, like the rest of the Valkyries, did not believe him.
“How can you not know her if you helped her yourself?” objected Vaira, and her gaze fell on his hand. “And I see you’ve got your arm restored.”
As soon as she said those words, the world around her shuddered.
For a moment, all sounds disappeared, and the space around Milica seemed to crumple like a sheet of paper and turn purple. Something immense appeared behind her, so huge that Idan’s mind could not comprehend its shape.
The space distorted, and then everything returned to normal.
However, Milica and Vaira were no longer there.
The elf and the swordsman looked at each other in silence.
In the next instant, the space around them seemed to ripple. Their silhouettes distorted, as if they were on the other side of an uneven glass, and then disappeared without a trace.
Idan frowned. It wasn’t like normal teleportation, but he couldn’t figure out what exactly had happened.
“Freeze!” said the Fire Valkyrie, noticing the movement of the two Ice Ones. “Don’t make any stupid moves!”
The Valkyries froze and looked at Idan coldly.
The members of the sword sect remained motionless, but their hands were already on their swords.
Idan was at a loss: What happened and where did Milica and Vaira disappear to?
Suddenly, thunder rumbled in the sky, and when Idan looked up, a rain of lightning poured down from the sky.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Lightning rained down from the sky, causing terrible destruction.
Idan, who was watching, thought it was heaven’s punishment, but it ended as quickly as it began.
Suddenly, the space in front of him distorted, and a bloody figure flew out of it, which fell right in front of the Valkyries.
It was Vaira. Her six wings were twitching nervously, and blood was flowing from her right arm, which had been cut off.
Milica appeared next to her, also holding a severed, bloody hand. And after them, an elf and a swordsman appeared.
Milica looked at Vaira’s severed hand and threw it back to its owner.
Vaira’s eyes were burning with anger and fear at the same time.
When the severed arm fell next to her, Vaira suppressed her pride and picked it up. Rebuilding a limb from scratch would have been difficult and time-consuming, but by preserving the severed part, she could reattach it and heal the wound in much less time.
Then, gritting her teeth and glaring at Idan, she addressed the rest of the Valkyries with one word.:
“Retreat.”
For a moment, Idan and Fire Valkyrie’s gazes met before she turned away and followed the others.
Milica turned to the Swordsman and said:
“Tell the Sword Hero that if he wants to find out where his daughter is, let him come to the Magic Tree and find me, Milica Celestria.”
With these words, Milica, without waiting for an answer, picked up Idan with her Soul Force and soared into the sky. After Limbo’s restrictions disappeared, she regained not only her connection to the Bloodline Domain and the Law, but also her ability to fly.
The elf, glancing at the Swordsman in silence, followed her.
Milica’s flight was incredibly fast.
They quickly reached the city and landed outside, entering through an ordinary city gate.
“So, after reaching rank 6, you can fly without wings?” said Idan, following her.
“Yes,” Milica nodded.
“Why didn’t we fly into the city, but landed outside it?” asked Idan.
“I don’t want to attract attention,” she smiled, and Idan nodded understandingly.
The sixth-ranked elf followed them silently, not interfering in their conversation.
When they entered the city, the apprentice and the Master went straight to the Adventurer’s Guild, as that was the only place they could find the Teleportation Gate.
But first, Milica rented a spacious room.
“Don’t let anyone in,” she told the Elf, and he nodded obediently.
Inside the room, Idan opened an Access portal, and he and Milica both returned to the Kingdom.
And as soon as Milica appeared there, the Kingdom shook.
