Chapter 611: The First Constellation
Chapter 611: The First Constellation
Towards midnight, a lone figure appeared in the center of the ice zone of the ring of the seasons.
“Finally,” — Arabel said, feeling the last restrictions imposed by the System dissolve, and she regains her full strength.
Arabel shuddered slightly as she recalled her punishment. Now she will think three times before scolding her system. A wheel of punishments flashed through her mind, which she spun, just like the lottery wheel.
Lucky for her or not, it was exactly what she had been through the last day.
Arabel didn’t want to think about what other punishments might await her behind the other hidden cells of the punishment wheel.
Putting aside all her thoughts, Arabel hummed and walked over, crouching down, began to pour the element of ice into the seed of the ice elemental she had planted.
After giving away almost half of her mana, Arabel nodded in satisfaction, stood up, and walked a little to the side, crouching down.
“Two weeks, and I’ll be Dan’s wife,” she said dreamily, as if she couldn’t believe that events were moving so fast.
She started thinking about the upcoming wedding and related preparations again.
Fortunately, they weren’t alone. On her side were her younger brother, mother and father, who supported her decisions and expressed a desire to participate in the preparation. The same can be said about Idan’s relatives.
Thinking about it, Arabel couldn’t help but be glad that she and Idan wouldn’t have to do everything by themselves.
After dreaming a little more, Arabel began to prepare to use her coupon for free Star formation and create her First Constellation.
The coupon she won in the lottery had a validity period of 15 days. By now, half of that time had passed, and if Arabel had forgotten about it, it would have simply disappeared in a week.
She couldn’t let that happen.
After sitting down and settling comfortably, she closed her eyes and immersed herself in her Soul Space.
Three Stars shone brightly inside her Soul Space.
Her first formed star was red in color and was linked with an Perfect Doppelganger, to which she gave the name Bera.
The second star she formed was orange in color and was linked with the Water Valkyrie and her named older sister Esma Waterial.
The last, third yellow-colored Star was associated with Octopus Fox, to which she gave the name Octo.
However, none of these three companions of hers were by her side right now.
Bera was in their Guild’s branch office in the Federation Capital.
Esma went to the second city of Limbo to sort out her store and at the same time help Hailey tame one dragon.
Arabel had left Octo in Limbo in Sierra’s care during her last visit.
This little fox cub was special. He had two affinities to the elements — Darkness and Space.
Apart from Coco and Felicia, Arabel and Idan had no acquaintances who had the same affinity for the elements of space. Therefore, Arabel decided to focus on the Octo element of darkness first, and besides Sierra, there were no others more experienced in this field in their minds.
“System, I want to use the coupon and form the First Constellation,” Arabel addressed the System.
[Host, it will take a little longer to form a Constellation than to form a Star], the System warned.
[Are you sure you want to form a Constellation right now?]
How could Arabel have thought of such a thing? She was slightly perplexed and even a little indignant.
But after a little thought, she made a decision.:
“Sooner or later, I’ll have to do it anyway, so yes, I’m ready to use the coupon.”
Arabel doubted that she would be able to use the coupon later if she didn’t use it now.
[Accepted] — the System’s voice sounded, and the unique coupon stored in Arabel’s spatial ring disintegrated into particles and disappeared.
At the same moment, Arabel felt the familiar feeling that always accompanied the formation of her Stars.
“The system has begun to work,” she thought, and all her attention focused on the Stars.
She didn’t know what the process of forming a Beast’s Soul looked like, but what Arabel and Idan were going through was unique. After all, they didn’t make an effort to do it themselves — the System itself did everything for them.
Its three Stars pulsed and shone. A thin transparent luminous shell appeared around each of them.
Then they began to move, heading towards each other, and began to slowly rotate around their axis.
When the distance between them became minimal and they almost merged, the thin layers of all three Stars began to merge together, enveloping them all.
It was very difficult for Arabel to sense the passage of time while inside her Soul Space, and she quickly lost track of time.
It seemed to her that a long time had passed before all three Stars suddenly abruptly pushed off from each other and began to rotate.
Now there was a thin thread between them that connected them to each other.
The stars gradually began to slow down as they rotated chaotically.
During this process, small, translucent and empty spheres appeared around each of the three stars, which began to orbit each of the stars.
The three individual stars formed a single uniform shape—an equilateral triangle—thanks to the threads connecting them. Small spheres revolved around each star, like satellites.
As soon as this process was completed, Arabel was forcefully pushed out of her soul space.
She abruptly opened her eyes and at the same moment established a connection with all her three companions through the contract. A huge amount of Soul Force surged into her Soul Space through this connection, instantly knocking Arabel out. Like a doll devoid of threads, she fell onto the snow-white cold snow.
Arabel slowly opened her eyes and found herself lying on a comfortable and warm bed. Her thoughts were confused, and her breathing was labored, as if something was pressing on her chest.
It took her a while to come to her senses and start thinking normally. And only then did she notice that a little fox was sleeping peacefully between her breasts with a small backpack on her back, lightly touching her chest.
Arabel’s eyes widened at the realization that Coco was the cause of her discomfort and difficulty breathing. But then she realized that this was the first time Coco had gotten so comfortable on top of her. She was usually very afraid of her and shunned her, preferring to spend time with Idan.
“Oh, you’re awake,” Arabel heard Idan say.
“Dan?” she asked, not quite understanding how she ended up in this room.
Idan appeared next to her and sat down, looking at Coco with a slight envy.
Remembering what she had been doing before she lost consciousness, Arabel turned to Idan.
“How long?” she asked. “How long was I unconscious?”
“It’s been two days since I came back and found you,” Idan replied. “And considering that I only returned a day after I left, it turns out that you were unconscious for almost three days.”
