Chapter 702: The dance part of the wedding
Chapter 702: The dance part of the wedding
There were many more female guests at the wedding than there were male guests. Besides, most of the guys already had their own couples, so many girls were left without partners for a pair dance.
Among them were the five Valkyrie sisters, who looked at Arabel with mild envy.
Hazel and Yulaya were known to many, especially the guys. Those who couldn’t find a mate didn’t even think about inviting these beauties to dance. But they watched them with admiration, enjoying their beauty from the outside.
What can we say about Sierra, Milica and Geminia?
For such powerful beings, there was no suitable match among the men present. In their eyes, they all seemed like just children.
Even Alois, who looked like a middle-aged man, was still a young boy in their eyes.
Only the Hosts of the Supreme Systems aroused some curiosity among them, but they understood that in the eyes of these people they themselves now look like inexperienced young girls.
Suddenly, a Merchant approached Sierra’s table, where she was sitting alone in boredom while four of her table were dancing.
“I see you’re bored by yourself? How about a dance?” he asked, surprising Sierra.
“Why not?” she replied with a playful smile, accepting his invitation, not wanting to miss the opportunity to enjoy this evening.
Sierra was aware that they were from different worlds, and although he was handsome, charming, and suited her taste, she had no romantic feelings for him. And judging by his eyes, he felt the same way about her.
Anna and Richard also joined the dance, leaving the three single moms to watch them.
After another dance, Idan and Arabel decided to return to their place. After a while, the pair dances changed to individual ones, and everyone who did not have a partner joined them.
Idan and Arabel watched the scene with a smile. Their wedding was unique: it brought together representatives of different worlds and cultures, which made this evening unforgettable.
Of course, what banquet is complete without alcoholic beverages?
By the time the active dancing started, some of the guests had already started getting drunk. After all, the Host of the Supreme Chef System had prepared not just drinks for mortals, but drinks that could make even Gold-ranked creatures drunk.
Knowing his weakness for alcohol, Idan decided to abstain and did not drink.
When the individual dance began, Leo managed to free himself from the “dragon’s grip” and return to his seat unnoticed. He thought he did it unnoticed, but his little trick did not escape the keen gaze of Hailey, who saw him running away.
However, when Leo showed his diligence and improved his performance during the subsequent couple dances, it cooled Hailey’s ardor a little, and she eventually let him go.
The dance part of the celebration lasted a little longer, allowing everyone to enjoy the moment. The young men who couldn’t take their eyes off the beautiful dancing girls were especially pleased. There were many more of them than there were young people, and most of them had perfect figures and suited every taste.
The girls from the Queen’s Guild, the Red Fox Guild, and even the Valkyrie sisters came out to have some fun.
It was a real treat for the eyes of the young guys.
During this time, Idan and Arabel enjoyed each other’s company.
Arabel settled back into Idan’s lap, fully enjoying his company as he slowly fed her an exquisite dessert, washing it all down with a delicious drink. Thanks to Esma, Arabel was immune to alcohol, and she could control her intoxication, but now she deliberately lowered it in order to fully experience the moments of intimacy, ready to get rid of it at any moment.
It was their evening, and Arabel didn’t want to let Idan go. She sought to monopolize him for herself, not wanting him to pay attention to other women, even her sworn sisters, on such a special day.
The possessiveness that had reawakened in her after the voices of her other personalities had disappeared from her head made Arabel want Idan only for herself.
Well, Idan, he was glad of that.
“Oh, what beautiful movements, what charming beauties, it’s just a sight to behold!” The Merchant admired, interrupting the dance. “Unfortunately, all good things tend to end, so the dancing part of our wonderful evening has come to an end.”
There were sighs of disappointment and dissatisfaction in the air, and everyone wanted to prolong this moment a little more.
“Don’t be so upset!” exclaimed Lustina. “The equally exciting part of this evening is about to begin.”
“I ask all the unmarried young ladies to stay on the dance floor, and the young men to return to their seats,” the Merchant urged, igniting sparks of curiosity in the women with one sentence.
“It’s time to throw the bride’s bouquet!” announced Lustina.
The hall was filled with applause.
“I have to go,” Arabel said, hearing that it was time to throw the bouquet. She quickly got rid of the effects of alcohol, sobered up, and, kissing Idan on the lips, stood up from his lap with a smile. Taking her beautiful bouquet in her hands, she headed to the center of the dance floor.
“Stay,” Arslan asked Irene, who wanted to return to the table with him, not wanting to participate in this event.
“You’re an unmarried girl too, and you can participate,” Arslan added calmly. Irene found it a little strange.
She turned to the rest of the gathered girls, assessed her chances, which, in her opinion, were close to zero, shrugged her shoulders and, thinking about why not, decided to participate.
Arslan, returning to his seat and making sure that Irene was participating in the bouquet throwing, smiled slyly.
“Oh, how come? Why don’t so many beautiful ladies have partners? What is happening to this world?” the Merchant lamented, looking at the many young girls who decided to take part in catching the bride’s bouquet.
All the girls were smiling as they listened to his words.
Among them were all the Valkyrie sisters, Irene, the girls from the Queens Guild, the Red Fox Guild, the Kingdom Guild, and even those who came from Limbo.
“What a beautiful bouquet this little sister has!” exclaimed Lustine, drawing everyone’s attention to the bouquet in Arabel’s hands.
“And someone today will be the one who will receive her blessing and good luck in love, who will be the next to get married,” she added.
Everyone clapped their hands in joy.
“And now, ladies, I ask you to come to the edge of the dance floor and form a semicircle,” the Merchant addressed the participants.
“I want to remind you that the use of any abilities, Soul Forces and other magical manipulations by the participants is prohibited,” warned Lustina.
“Just like the bride, she is not allowed to use her strength and throw a bouquet without looking back,” the Merchant added.
Arabel smiled and nodded, agreeing to their terms.
Then she looked around at the burning eyes of the girls and gracefully turned around.
Closing her eyes, she waved the bouquet to the inspiring words of the Merchant and Lustina and tossed it high up and back.
Loud shouts and commotion rang out in the air, and after a few seconds, the hall burst into applause.
Arabel, smiling, realized that one of the participants had successfully caught the bouquet. Opening her eyes, she turned around and when she saw who it was, her smile grew even wider.
