Chapter 718: What are your plans?

“Do you want to break the contract with Rizzy?” Arabel asked in surprise, lying in Idan’s arms and lifting her head to look into his eyes.

“Yes,” Idan nodded, gently smoothing her red hair.

“The Third Disaster is just around the corner, and I also want to create my First Constellation,” Idan said, admiring Arabel. “After you told me about the benefits of forming the First Constellation, I thought about it.: what happens if, after forming it, I terminate the contract with Rizzy in the future?”

“What will become of my formed constellation? Will it remain intact or will it collapse?” asked Idan anxiously.

“Do you think Rizzy will leave us?” asked Arabel, puzzled.

Idan smiled sadly.: “You should have noticed that Rizzy doesn’t treat us like parents. She sees us only as a source of blood, even though we think of her as a daughter.”

“Her connection to Nemo is much stronger than we think,” Idan added.

“Thanks to the contract, I feel Rizzy’s longing and affection for Nemo,” Idan confessed sadly. “And I’ve never felt the same way about you and me from her.”

“I suggest we return her to Nemo before we become completely attached to her and before I form my First Constellation,” he said.

“She will be much better off with Nemo, Lina and her sister Izzy than with us,” he added.

“After all, Nemo is her father by blood, and we are just strangers, just food for her.”

Arabel looked at Idan in silence.

Even though he said those words, she could hear the sadness in his voice. She knew that during this time he had become more attached to the little girl than she was. After all, thanks to their bond established through the contract, they could feel each other’s emotions.

“Don’t try to fool yourself, Dan, you’ve already become attached to her,” Arabel said softly. “But you’re right, we can’t leave her with us.”

“Rizzy will be better off with her real parents.”

Arabel partly understood why Idan wanted Rizzy back now.

After all, he himself recently found out that he grew up in a foster family without knowing his real parents.

Idan did not want Rizzy to grow up surrounded by strangers, even though her father was alive and had no objections to raising his daughter.

He was thinking not only about himself, but also about Rizzy’s own feelings.

“Initially, I was attracted to Elira, the Flaming Crane from the World of Fire. But after she categorically refused, my opinion changed,” Idan replied to her. “I don’t know if her opinion has changed during this time or not. I’m not sure.”

“By the way, she wasn’t at our wedding. Is she still in Limbo?” asked Arabel.

Idan nodded, remembering the words of his master Milica, who told him to go back for Elyra before he went to look for Geminia, and subsequently returned back to Earth to save Arabel, completely forgetting about Elyra.

“There’s no one near the Lava Lake who can help her get back, so she’s probably still there,” Idan guessed.

“I hope she’s okay,” Arabel said when she heard about her current location.

“We’ll find out soon enough,” — Idan replied, kissing Arabel gently on the forehead. “I plan to return to Limbo and visit the Lava Lake.”

“Do you want to convince her to sign a contract again?”

“Well, since I’m going to return to the Lava Lake, I’ll definitely ask her about it. And I also want to see the little dragon again,” Idan smiled, remembering the second little lover of sweets, who bit his legs, demanding sweets.

“A little dragon?” asked Arabel.

About their first meeting, which took place during his first visit to the Lava Lakes, when they were recovering after returning from the Incomplete World of Darkness and Light, as well as about the recent second meeting.

“Thanks to you, I now know about the benefits of forming the First Constellation. I want to find a Fire or Light Element Beast for my second Star, and a Lightning Element Beast for the third,” Idan shared his plans.

“Lightning elements?” — Arabel was surprised and stared at him with wide-open eyes.

“Don’t tell me you’re…”

“Yes, Belle, that’s right,” Idan replied with a smile, watching his wife’s reaction.

“Not only did you gain a new affinity, but I was also able to benefit from the encounter with the Lightning Valkyrie of Rank 6. I’ve gained an initial affinity with the Lightning element.”

After seeing Arabel’s shocked and then joyful face, Idan decided to share his idea.:

“You’re finally here! We haven’t been able to find you since this morning, no matter how hard we try. Even Sierra couldn’t figure out where you were hiding,” Irene said, her voice sounding undisguised with excitement.

Idan and Arabel, noticing that it was long past noon, smiled sheepishly. Seeing their reactions and beaming smiles, Irene didn’t have to wonder long why they were delayed. For a moment, a slight envy flashed in her eyes, but remembering more important things, she quickly suppressed it.

“Idan, Arabel,” her voice became serious.

“My doppelganger, Arslan’s doppelganger, Yulaya’s doppelganger, and Hazel’s doppelganger all received a message from the Eye of the Web.”

Upon hearing the name “Eye of the Web”, the smile on Idan and Arabel’s faces disappeared, and they became very serious.

“What’s the message?” asked Idan.

“The Eye of the Web,” Irene replied after a short pause, and then added, “He wants to meet with both of you.”
