Chapter 733: Termination of the contract

“Did the old man want to recruit you?” Idan’s expression became a little puzzled.

Idan and Milica noticed that Geminia did not want to continue the conversation on this topic.

“We were discussing the Path of the Beast Tamer,” Milica replied and shared her thoughts on the subject with her.

“By the way, I still haven’t found the time to study the other volumes of the Manual,” Geminia recalled. “If you don’t mind, could you lend me the second, third, and formation volume of this first Trinity for a while?” she asked.

“I’ll find out who has these volumes now and ask them to give them to you,” Milica agreed, seeing no reason to refuse.

By this point, Rizzy had finished drinking blood and was sweetly asleep in Idan’s arms.

Looking at her serene sleep, Idan wondered if it was worth breaking the contract. However, the longer he postponed this moment, the more attached he became to the baby.

“System, tell me, is there a way to terminate our contract painlessly for Rizzy?” Idan asked System, remembering that unlike others, it was their System that took on the role when concluding the contract.

“Well, the main thing is that Rizzy doesn’t get hurt,” Idan rejoiced.

After looking at the sweetly sleeping baby for a while longer, Idan walked away and sat down.

“System, get started,” he said, taking a deep breath and exhaling.

After receiving the command, the System did not hesitate to sever Rizzy’s connection with Idan’s second Star.

For a moment, Idan felt a sharp pain, as if he had been electrocuted. He trembled, but restrained himself so as not to scream and lose consciousness.

He immediately looked inside his Soul Space and saw how his bright second Star, having lost contact with Rizzy, quickly began to fade.

At the same time, Idan felt an incredible emptiness and sadness. He was already so used to this connection that he hadn’t noticed it before. But now, having lost her, he finally realized how much he was attached to Rizzy and that he was unlikely to be able to recover such a loss so soon.

From this incredible and unusual sense of loss, Idan could not hold back a stingy male tear.

Rizzy, who was sleeping, abruptly opened her eyes and looked around in confusion, trying to figure out what was going on. Then she started crying loudly.

Geminia, coming first, took the baby out of the crib and tried to calm her down, but Rizzy did not stop crying. Soon she gave up and handed her over to Milica, but Milica couldn’t comfort her either.

Even the Nanny’s puppet, who took Rizzy from Milica’s arms, could not comfort her.

After seeing this, Idan couldn’t sit and be sad anymore. He walked over to the Nanny’s puppet and picked Rizzy up in his arms.

Finding herself in his arms, Rizzy opened her tear-stained eyes and stared at him, still crying.

Idan, like Rizzу, as soon as he felt her in his arms, felt the feeling of emptiness that arose with the severance of their bond begin to dull.
