Chapter 747: Dark Queen Sword
Chapter 747: Dark Queen Sword
When Christopher saw Arabel, he was momentarily captivated by her beauty, which became even brighter. He forgot about his situation and, overjoyed, couldn't help but smile.
His smile was joyful and could have charmed any innocent girl, but for Arabel it seemed creepy.
His attractive blue eyes shone as he looked straight into Arabel's eyes.
"Pfh..." — Arabel let out a chuckle, noticing Christopher's attempts to charm her.
"Are you trying to charm me like all those innocent girls, Christopher?" she asked with a slight smile.
The smile on Christopher's face wavered as he realized that his abilities had no effect on Arabel.
"Look," Arabel said, raising her left hand and showing her wedding ring.
"Do you see the ring?"
All of Christopher's joy and smile evaporated as soon as the ring appeared in his field of vision.
"As you can see, I got married, and therefore I'm not an innocent anymore," — Arabel said with a slight sneer, watching Christopher's joyful expression change to ugly and angry.
Suddenly, everyone felt a strange energy enveloping them. All of Arabel's abilities, including the Soul Force that held Christopher and Albert, were gone. However, she did not return to her human form, remaining in the guise of a Dark Valkyrie.
"Black stone?" Arabel thought, remembering how she had already felt its effects on herself.
To her surprise, even her hair, which she had used to hold the girls, was gone, and they were all free. But instead of attacking Arabel, they also fell under the influence of the black stone and, like puppets stripped of their threads, fell to the ground unconscious.
"Not so fast," — Arabel said, noticing that Albert, now free, was about to use his powers. His hair began to glow, but at the same moment, a dark blade appeared in Arabel's hands, with which she pierced his stomach and pinned him to the sofa.
"Aaaaarch!"
Albert screamed in pain. No sooner had he released his power than a mountain of Soul Force crashed down on him again, almost knocking him unconscious.
The black stone only dispelled all of Arabel's abilities and her released Soul Force, but it did not seal it. Therefore, Arabel immediately used her Soul Force again to grab both Christopher and Albert.
Christopher, being Awakened, lost all his powers after activating the black stone and could not resist properly when Arabel's even stronger Soul Force attacked him.
Creak!
The door creaked, and a lone dark figure entered the room.
"Darkia," — Arabel said when she found out who it was, and immediately tensed up, ready for battle.
"Hehe, is that how you're going to thank me?" Darkia laughed, looking at Arabel, who was ready to fight.
"If I hadn't intervened now, this room would have been filled with everyone who was influenced by this Host's ability by now," Darkia said, pointing at Christopher.
Arabel frowned and, without losing her vigilance, looked around again. She saw that all the girls who, having noticed the danger to Christopher, were going to attack her, were stopped by her hair and were now unconscious under the influence of the black stone.
"You don't think that all those girls who managed to fall under the influence of this Host's ability are in this room, do you?"
"Instead of being wary, you should thank me," Darkia said.
"I could have done it without your help," Arabel replied, confident in her abilities. She couldn't shake the feeling that Darkia was up to something.
Darkia did not respond to Arabel's words, and because of the mask she was wearing, it was difficult to understand what was on her mind. It was even more impossible to tell if she was smiling as usual or not.
"Aaaaarch!" — Albert groaned, drawing Arabel and Darkia's attention to himself.
Darkia stared at Albert for only a moment, then turned her gaze to the dark sword pinning him to the sofa.
The sword was completely black, its blade remained opaque and absorbed light. However, seven perfectly smooth light runes were engraved on the surface, each of which glowed dimly.
The hilt of the sword, like the blade, was completely black, as if made of black leather or chitin. It was separated from the blade by a black cross-shaped guard with exquisite patterns.
Arabel couldn't help but smile when she saw Darkia's gaze fixed on the dark blade. She looked at her blade; a gift her husband had given her in the form of a wedding ring. This blade was a symbol of their bond and family life.

Arabel, gripping the hilt of her sword tightly, activated the absorption ability, aiming it at Albert. The runes on the blades of the Dark Sword began to glow, and Albert, feeling the effect of the ability, writhed in pain.
"Aah! No! No!" he exclaimed, feeling his strength, and with it his vital energy, drain away.
Soon, his scream died down.
"Hmm," Arabel said, examining her blade with interest. Then she turned her gaze to Albert, who, as she noticed, was still alive, but had lost consciousness.
Checking the information on the blade, Arabel was surprised to find that not one, but three runes were occupied at once.
