Chapter 789 - 790: A conversation with Hailey

In the end, Arabel convinced Hailey to take her time. She gave her a task: just watch Leo and act only if he doesn't come out of his room by himself.

"Okay," — was all Hailey said before she started eating the food Arabel had prepared for her.

It was an unexpected and late meeting, but it was held in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone talked, shared the news and got to know each other better.

Soon everyone noticed two little foxes, Coco and Octo, who were walking in a circle and begging for food. They looked so cute that no one could resist sharing treats with them.

These foxes were very popular with the women present.

When Idan saw them, he remembered his baby dragon, which he had brought with him, and summoned him. The appearance of the baby dragon immediately attracted everyone's attention. Many of those present had never seen a live dragon before, much less such a cute baby dragon with a slightly silly face.

The baby dragon, finding himself in an unfamiliar place, looked around and carefully studied those around him, without showing the slightest fear.

Idan nodded, confirming her words, and seeing that Hayley wanted to discuss something important, he decided to communicate with her through a mental link.

"The thing is, my power is related to the dragons. The beast-taming ability that you bestowed on me has become a part of my own. Instead of forming "Beast Souls", I form "Dragon Souls", which, of course, limits my ability to form contracts only with dragons," Hailey began, talking a little about her abilities.

"I was able to form a contract with a Doppelganger only because it can take the form of any dragon. My second contract is with the fire dragon. To use my powers more effectively, I need to make a third contract with a dragon of another element. That's why I can't sign a contract with another fire dragon," Hailey continued.

"So that's how it works. Your system has integrated the Path of the Beast Tamer, adapting it to suit itself," Idan realized. "And what advantages does that give you?"
