Chapter 819: Now we are one family, one whole

"I... I lose?" said Arabel in disbelief, not immediately realizing her defeat, standing at the entrance to the Simularium.

After recovering a little, she realized that the fight was still going on, and Idan was left alone. To avoid meetings and to have privacy, Arabel entered the bedroom of the "Family Home". There, she took out her smartphone and opened the Simularium page to see what was going on.

As soon as her smartphone connected to the network and loaded the broadcast page, she saw Lina joining the battle between Nemo and Idan.

Arabel frowned at the sight of Lena, remembering her fierce and hateful look before she killed her battle avatar. Then she remembered Lina's hatred of Valkyries and quickly realized that she had provoked Lina by transforming into the Dark Valkyrie.

"Lina caught me off guard by using the lightning element," Arabel whispered. "I thought that after losing her wings, she wouldn't be able to use her element anymore. Lina probably just doesn't want to use her lightning element because she dislikes her bloodline."

"More importantly, what kind of ability was that?" Arabel wondered, looking at Lina and remembering her attacks with the will of the sword.

Arabel felt regret that she had lost to Lina. She would like to fight her again. With some sadness, she turned her gaze to her husband, realizing that she had left him alone, and feeling guilty for it.

"I'm sorry, Dan..." Arabel whispered, watching the scene.

"Spirit Form?" She exclaimed in surprise as flames burst out around Idan and his body began to transform. At that moment, a faint hope arose in Arabel's soul that her husband would be able to win this unequal battle, to which she condemned him by losing to Lina.

Then something amazing happened that made Arabel's eyes widen in amazement.

Nemo and Lina moved at the same time, and without leaving Idan a single chance, they unleashed a barrage of attacks on him using the unique ability of the "swap" System, which they received after becoming champions. Their movements were perfectly synchronized, as if they were one.

"This... this..." — Arabel couldn't find the words to express her admiration.

It was an excellent team effort.

This was exactly the vision Idan had told her about the day they gained the "swap" ability.

Arabel herself was impressed by his idea at the time and wanted to try to implement it. But after that conversation and the events that followed, they completely forgot about this idea.

Although they used this "swap" ability from time to time, they only used it to swap places with Ned and Ber, their doppelgangers.

But now Nemo and Lina proved that their idea was feasible, and, most importantly, used it against themselves. They even defeated Idan without giving him even a chance to attack.

"Dan lost..." Arabel said with sadness in her voice, watching Nemo and Lina win.

Putting her smartphone aside, she lowered her head and closed her eyes, trying to analyze what they had done wrong and why they had been defeated.

"We lack skill and experience," she whispered.

"As well as teamwork," — Arabel added, recalling that ever since they returned to Earth from Limbo, they had often been together, but when it came to fighting, they always fought alone.

In the northern city, she set off alone, leaving Idan to defend the city.

In the incomplete world of Light and Darkness, they also split up in search of portals and fought separately.

After returning, they also fought separately: Idan — with Erza, and she — with the Guardian of the Light.

When they teleported to Junonia to help Nemo and Lina, Idan alone faced five Diamond-ranked Valkyries, and at the end of the battle, even the Valkyries from the Higher Realm were forced to intervene.

All this time they worked separately and did not even think about acting together. While Nemo and Lina, after only a short period of working together, have already reached this level.

"All this time, we've been neglecting one of the main advantages of our System," Arabel realized. "Dan and I share the same System, and although our affinities with the elements are opposite, they do not contradict, but complement each other, making us both strong."

Idan didn't know what she was thinking, but he assumed she was probably thinking about the recent fight and why she lost.

Seeing her determined look at the end, Idan couldn't help but smile.

"Are you done?" he asked, startling Arabelle a little.

"Dan!" — Arabel exclaimed when she saw Idan, and with a joyful cry she rushed to him. Idan deftly caught her in his arms and hugged her gently.

"I'm sorry, Dan..." Arabel said with a sense of guilt. "I'm so sorry that I lost and left you alone."

"There's no need to apologize, Belle," Idan replied, kissing her gently on the forehead. "It was just a friendly match in which no one was injured."

"I do not know how you lost, but if this fight gave you something useful and made you think about your weaknesses, then this is more than enough," he added.

"You're right, Dan," Arabel agreed with his words.

She started talking about how her fight with Lina went and how she lost.

Sitting on the bed, they both shared their impressions and thoughts about the duel. Both saw in each other's eyes the desire to fight against Nemo and Lina once again, to learn from them and also to start working as a team, as a whole, like Lina and Nemo.
