Chapter 829: The Whisper Hub & A fragment of the Ark of the Beasts Souls
Chapter 829: The Whisper Hub & A fragment of the Ark of the Beasts Souls
"If my sister and the others continue to practice the Way of the Beast Tamer and are able to form a second Trinity, the next step for them will be to form the Beast Space," Idan whispered, looking at the seventh volume of the Way of the Beast Tamer, available for purchase in the Trade function.
["Manual to the «Path of Beast Tamer» - Rank 7 – Formation of the Beast Space"]
"25,000 System Points," Idan noted, but this time his surprise was not so strong.
Previously, this amount seemed huge to him, almost unbearable, but now, after he earned his first 100,000 System Points in just two days in Limbo, with the support of others, this amount no longer seemed so unbearable to him.
"If the title of the volume is true, then with this seventh volume, all tamers will be able, like Belle and me, to store contracted creatures in a special space and take them with them," — Idan mused.
"Thus, we will need portable spatial storage facilities only for creatures up to the sixth rank, and for higher ranks they will already be superfluous," Idan reasoned.
"I hope Christina has some ideas," Idan said, opening the trade function window and once again paying attention to the sprout that spread out on the Golden-rank Fire Element Crystal.
"A fire elemental, huh?" said Idan, looking at the sprout with interest and trying to imagine what it might turn into in the future. He wondered how a fire elemental could arise from this plant.
"Belle must have lent the Cooking Manual to Sofia.", — Idan thought, noticing that the cooking manual was missing from their shared storage.
"And where did the ' Manual of the Dual Cultivation' go? — he was surprised to find that this manual was also missing.
"Is Belle studying this manual again?" — Idan thought, momentarily returning to the memories of their third night.
He remembered the dominant Arabel, how she "gently" treated him, giving him her first oral sex, and how passionately she rode on him, and how it looked.
These thoughts couldn't help but arouse him greatly.
"Okay, let her learn," Idan laughed, realizing that not only Arabel was benefiting from this, but also, to a large extent, himself.
"I have to use my right to the reward from the bet and finally return the favor," Idan thought.
In the coming days, he was going to demand that Arabel, as stipulated in the terms of the bet, serve him in the form of an Ice Valkyrie and fulfill all his desires.
"But to do that, I need to sort out my third contract and my first constellation, so that no one and nothing can interfere with us on this day." Idan made a quick decision.
He wanted to spend this day only with his wife and fully enjoy his reward.
For a moment, Idan was lost in his dirty, vulgar thoughts, looking forward to this day.
[Host. A reply came from the Host of the Supreme Craftsman System] — The System disrupted his thoughts, bringing him back to reality.
"Oh, already? Show me," Idan quickly discarded all other thoughts and focused on the System window that appeared in front of him, in which there was a description of one artifact.
--------------------------
**Identification:**
Name: The Whisper Hub
Rarity: Rare
Quality: Platinum
**Description**
The Whisper Hub is an exquisite magical complex consisting of a central Hub (the main artifact) and a variety of Whisper Talismans. It was created so that a group of creatures could communicate, regardless of the distance, within the same world.
**Abilities:**
The hub is a central artifact that serves as a kind of "server" — a point of concentration and transformation of thoughts. There is only one copy available.
The Whisper Talismans are small plates that connect to the Hub. With their help, you can mentally generate messages that are instantly converted into text and appear in the general "chat window" of the Hub. All owners of the connected Talismans receive a notification, and the text is displayed in their personal "vision window" — a holographic panel visible only to them. The messages are displayed in chronological order with the sender's tags.
**Additional information:**
* Up to 50 Talismans can be connected to the Hub at the same time.
* Number of chats: up to 5.
* Communication range: unlimited, but only within one world.
--------------------------
Idan couldn't help but notice that this artifact resembles an ordinary smartphone from his world and various messengers, but with limited functionality and its own unique features.
"Only 750 System Points?" wondered Idan. "Ah... This is only for one Hub, and the Whisper Talismans can be purchased separately, for 50 System Points apiece."
"If you buy all 50 Talismans, it will amount to 2,500 System Points," Idan calculated, finding the price quite low.
Unlike smartphones, these talismans do not require a network connection and work everywhere in their world. This makes them even more valuable, because, unlike smartphones, without network access, an Eye of the Web will not be able to access and spy on them.
"I wonder if the Hub will work if it is installed inside the Kingdom?" thought Idan.
"Okay, System, send a message to Christina that I am acquiring one Hub and all 50 Talismans," he said.
[Accepted], the System replied.
As soon as Idan sorted out his first request, a new window opened in front of him with a description, four artifacts, and four recipes.
The first thing Idan noticed was the recipe for "A fragment of the Ark of the Beasts Souls".
--------------------------
**Identification:**
Name: A fragment of the Ark of the Beasts Souls
Rarity: Ordinary
Quality: Bronze
**Description**
It is one of the three fragments of the Ark of the Beasts Souls. The fragment is attached to the Tamer's "Soul Space" and allows him to temporarily store and summon a contracted creature from rank 1 to 3.
The creature does not fully live in the artifact, but exists as its spiritual projection, which saves energy. To "hide" the creature, the tamer touches the ark and mentally gives a command. The creature dissolves into the shining stream and is drawn into the artifact.
The challenge is the reverse process.
**Additional information:**
* In order to maintain the artifact's performance, it must be constantly nourished with the Soul Force.
--------------------------
When Idan read the description of the first proposed artifact, his eyes lit up. This was exactly what they needed.
Then he noticed that one of the four recipes included a way to create this artifact called "A fragment of the Ark of the Beasts Souls", which could not but cause him joy.
Idan drew attention to three other artifacts and related recipes.
The second artifact, as he understood it, was an assembly of three identical "A fragment of the Ark of the Beasts Souls". This artifact could store three contracted creatures up to the third rank inside itself at once.
The second recipe, as Idan noted, contained a way to combine these three artifacts into a single whole.
The third artifact was an enhanced version of "A fragment of the Ark of the Beasts Souls". Unlike the regular version, any single contracted creature up to the sixth rank could be stored inside it.
As Idan expected, the third recipe included a way to enhance the regular version of "A fragment of the Ark of the Beasts Souls" to an enhanced one after creation.
The fourth artifact, like the second, was an assembly of three enhanced versions of "A fragment of the Ark of the Beasts Souls", combined into a single whole. It could store three contracted creatures up to the sixth rank inside itself.
