Chapter 899: Do you realize the consequences of your choice?

Lina was gradually coming out of her special state that she had experienced during her "rebirth."

Her eyelids fluttered slightly, and she slowly opened her eyes. The emerald color she inherited from her father had changed to purple with a silver ring around it, and her gaze was slightly unfocused.

At that moment, the wings behind her fluttered and opened, holding her in the air. Lina began to slowly straighten up, giving Nemo a wonderful view of her beautiful body.

All of her clothes had been destroyed by the force of the lightning, and Lina was completely naked.

"Young Valkyrie," Lina suddenly heard an authoritative voice and looked up at the top of the mountain.

"Don't worry, your things are downstairs at the entrance," the same voice reassured her.

Lina breathed a sigh of relief, looking down and realizing that she hadn't lost her father's sword.

Then, when it dawned on her who that voice might belong to, she looked up again and asked questions.:

"Are You The Supervisor?"

"Did you take Nemo?"

"Where is he?"

Lina asked her questions one by one, without waiting for an answer.

"Ha ha ha ha," instead of answering, she heard a loud laugh that began to vibrate in her head, causing pain and discomfort.

Of course, Lina didn't like laughing instead of answering her questions.

She clenched her fists harder, clenched her teeth, and lightning sparks began to appear around her, intensifying to the beat of her deteriorating mood.

Looking at this, the Supervisor found it very funny and decided to give his answer anyway.

"Your lover is fine," he said.

Lina wasn't too surprised when the Supervisor called Nemo her lover, but she was glad to learn that he was all right. But Nemo suddenly felt panic.

He was seized with fear that the Supervisor would just blurt out that he had been watching her all this time, including now, when she was completely naked.

"Congratulations on your successful 'Rebirth,'" the Supervisor congratulated Lina instead.

"Thank you," Lina happily thanked him.

"Do you realize the consequences of your choice?" the Supervisor asked.

"Yes, I fully understand what I'm doing," Lina replied with confidence in her voice.

"Okay," the Voice replied. "I suppose you don't need to talk about the trial results?"

"No, you don't need to," Lina shook her head. "I already know that I failed it the moment I made the decision to go through Rebirth."

"You're one of the few people who surprised me so much," the Supervisor confessed. "And you have the best chance of passing the trial, but not now."

"Yes, I understand," Lina did not deny the words of the Supervisor.

She wasn't ready to challenge the trial again.

She had just been reborn and received a brand new body, and she needed to understand her new self first.

Without this information, it would have been impossible for her to pass the trial, no matter how hard she tried.

"I would ask you to come later, when you are fully aware of your new self and when the Temple appears in this place. But I would like to give you some advice.: try to win not this place first, but another one that is perfect for your new self," the Supervisor suggested.

"Valley of Lightning?" Lina asked, quickly realizing which place the Supervisor of the Valley of Stones was talking about.

"Yes, it is the Valley of Lightning," he confirmed.

Lina thought about the suggestion of the Supervisor of the Valley of Stones for a moment and decided to discuss it with others.

"Thanks for the advice, I'll think about it," she said.

"That's great. But if nothing works out and fate brings you here again, come and try to pass this trial again," the Supervisor said and, without waiting for Lina's answer, teleported her to the foot of the mountain, hiding her from prying eyes, along with her belongings.

Then his gaze landed on Nemo, the Challenger, who was silently staring at the spot where Lina was standing.

"You owe me now," the Supervisor said with a chuckle, bringing Nemo out of his reverie.

"Huh?" he raised his head.

Without giving an answer, the Supervisor teleported him and threw him out of the arch at the foot of the mountain to the others.

Nemo and Kitty rolled out of the archway and, unlike the others, did not receive any damage.

"Nemo?" exclaimed Eulalia and the others, looking at them in surprise.

"Nemo!" repeated Eulalia, having made sure that it was really him. She hurried over to him.

"Do you know how you scared us?" she asked as she came closer and looked him up and down. "Especially Lina. Do you have any idea how much your sudden disappearance has affected her?"

As soon as Eulalia mentioned Lina, Nemo started looking around for her, but couldn't find her.

"Hey! Nemo," Eulalia called out, noticing the strange behavior of her younger companion.

While Eulalia and the others were trying to figure out what was going on, Lina came out of the archway. She had already dressed, hung her sword on her belt, and finally felt relieved.

As soon as she stepped out of the archway, her gaze fell on a familiar masked figure.

"Nemo?" — Lina asked, and everyone heard her surprised and joyful voice coming from the archway. When they turned around, they were amazed to see her.

But what struck them the most was how much she had changed.

She became completely different, unlike the one they knew and saw the last time.

Nemo, hearing his name and a familiar voice, started.

He barely had time to turn around, as Lina was already in front of him. She hugged him tightly, but she overdid it a little, and his bones cracked slightly. Nemo's breath caught in his throat.
