Chapter 908: Six uninvited guests.
The building recently acquired by the Kingdom's Guild was impressive and quite old. At one time, it survived the cataclysm and was subsequently completely reconstructed by the local authorities to meet the requirements of the Guilds and attract them to the city.
The building had three entrances located on three sides. As soon as the guests crossed the threshold, they were greeted by a spacious hall with tall columns.
In the few days that the Kingdom Guild owned the building, it did not have time to fully equip itself.
After the decision to evacuate was made, Arabel, one of the two Guild leaders, personally moved the Access Portal from the secure underground room to the end of the hall.
Now this portal attracted the attention of everyone who entered the building through one of the three entrances.
And so six uninvited guests entered the building through the main entrance and their attention was attracted by a mysterious portal located at the end of the hall.
None of them knew exactly where this portal led, they only had a hunch, but they were not completely sure.
Only then did the six of them notice a lone figure sitting quietly by the portal.
Crossing his legs and resting his head on his right hand, a black-haired guy with brown eyes studied the guests with a smile, not showing a drop of fear on his face.
"Well, well, who is this here?" Ned said with a smile, looking around at the six guests.
"Two fireflies, two darklings, a fish and a boulder?" Ned asked with a slight sneer in his voice, recognizing in these guests two Creatures of Light, two of Darkness, as well as one Creature of Water and Stone.
Of course, none of the six guests liked Ned's words.
In the center of the company were two Beings of Light: a man with long blond hair and golden eyes, dressed in a robe resembling a priest.
A little ahead of him stood a majestic woman with the same blonde hair, which, upon closer inspection, seemed to radiate radiance. Her golden eyes were watching Ned intently.
Unlike the man, Ned couldn't see what the woman was wearing, as her body was hidden under the cloak.
To their right stood a woman with long blue hair and aquamarine eyes, with a friendly smile on her face. However, Ned, not being a fool, could see the hidden contempt and hatred behind that smile.
Next to her was another equally beautiful woman with long black hair, whom Ned immediately recognized as a representative of the Womskinner race. He couldn't be mistaken about that.
He had already encountered members of this race several times and even had the opportunity to fight with creatures of Diamond and even rank 6. At one time, he even died once at the hands of one of them.
To the left of the Creatures of Light, with a look of disdain on his face, stood a muscular guy with short brown hair sticking out in different directions. His tank top was slightly open, revealing the firm contours of his body.
Next to him towered a tall young man with a proud bearing and long black hair. His eyes, with vertical pupils like a reptile's, looked at Ned with disdain.
"A dragon?" — Ned's first thought flashed across his mind as he met that gaze. "The Dark Dragon?"
This realization made his smile grow even wider.
Under the influence of his master, Ned did not have much sympathy for the dark dragons.
While Ned was carefully examining his guests, they in turn were studying him.
"Platinum rank?" flashed through the minds of all six of them as they easily sensed Ned's power.
With the exception of the blonde-haired woman, the others immediately lost interest in Ned and began to look around for traps.
However, they soon became convinced that he was alone.
Disappointment was reflected in their looks.
"Did our management overestimate them so much?" The muscular guy whispered, not understanding why the higher—ups were so afraid of this so-called Kingdom Guild.
"Freeze," a soft but commanding voice rang out, causing all five of them to freeze in place.
"I see you're the Leader here?" Ned asked with a smile, looking at the blonde woman. At first glance, he realized that she was not like the others.
The woman's gaze became serious. She had a strange feeling of unease as she looked at this creature.
Yes, her eyes immediately recognized that the guy in front of her was not from this world and was not human.
When there was no answer, Ned started to get to his feet.
As soon as he stood up, a glint flashed under the woman's cloak.
His hair instantly turned fiery red, like a blazing flame, and a fiery spear appeared in his hands, which he pointed forward.
Boom!
The powerful explosion of the collision filled the entire hall with bright light and flames, causing the buildings to shake and shattering all the windows.
Ordinary people waiting outside were hit by the roar, covering their heads, and mistakenly thought that an explosion had occurred.
Meanwhile, inside the building, after a sudden brief clash of light and fire, Ned staggered back slightly. There was a smile on his face, and he looked with interest at the woman who had also been knocked back by Ned's power.
"Guardians of Light," — Ned said, seeing the shining armor of the woman after her cloak fell off.
The woman, dressed in shining white armor, tightly clutched a spear decorated with patterns in her hands. Her gaze became calmer and colder as she became convinced that she was right.
This guy in front of her wasn't simple.
"Ha ha ha ha," — Ned laughed out loud.
Even though the Platinum—ranked fluctuations were coming from the woman, Ned understood that the true rank of the being in front of him was Diamond.
As far as he knew, none of the Guardians of Light had a rank lower than Diamond.
It also explained why the other five obeyed her commands without question.
Continuing to laugh, Ned decided not to hold back any longer.
Under the gaze of the six, his blazing fiery hair began to glow with the pinkish purple color of madness energy, and his eyes became no less insane.
At the same moment, huge flashes of lightning erupted from the portal behind him, accompanied by the howl of wolve.
