Chapter 912: Observation of the First Constellation.

In the city of Redclay, Idan was aware of all the events. He felt Ned's absolute confidence and decided to trust him.

"What a glutton," Idan thought, watching as the Baby Dragon, instead of following his instructions, entered the Portal, got distracted and stayed in the restaurant, begging for food from Sofia.

Time passed, and soon, through feedback from Ned, Idan received information about uninvited guests who appeared in the city of Nordist.

"Only representatives of the World of Fire and the World of Sky are missing," Idan noted.

Then the battle began.

The Pulsar began to rage, and through the feedback, Idan could only catch the echoes of its chaotic rage.

Feeling this rage, Idan chuckled, wondering what those who had encountered him were feeling. He wanted to see the reaction of those who found themselves in the midst of this chaos.

"The rage of the Pulsar probably can't compare to what we faced in the Valley of Lightning," Idan said to himself. "Back then, in the Lightning Valley, Pulsar had an almost endless source of Lightning energy along with rage."

Since the beginning of the battle, Idan did not interfere in the duel between Ned and Pulsar, carefully observing the changes in his First Constellation and trying to figure out the intentions of beings from other worlds.

"Why the Nordist?" he wondered.

"Maybe it's related to our branch there?" he suggested.

"Are they trying to prevent the evacuation, or are they just probing the ground?" he continued to ponder.

"Or maybe they're trying to explore our portal?" — he wondered, trying to find at least some explanation for the actions of these creatures.

"Hmm... is the Pulsar starting to fail?"  Idan thought as he watched his Third Star gradually fade and lose its power.

"Oh!" he exclaimed as he saw his second star activate and a red fire element began to emanate from it, heading towards the third star and sharing its power with it.

At this time, the Pulsar, which had begun to weaken under the attacks of the blue-haired woman and the Womskinner race woman, suddenly exploded in power. Some of her lightning acquired the properties of a flame, and his metal skeleton, which began to cool, turned white-hot.

"Did the Baby Dragon share its power with the Pulsar?" wondered Idan, watching what was happening to his First Constellation.

Idan, wanting to find out what the Baby Dragon was doing, looked into the Kingdom and was stunned.

The Baby Dragon, with its mouth open, looked at Sofia, who watched with a smile as it ate the dish she had prepared. The half-eaten food fell out of his mouth, and his eyes darted back and forth in panic.

Before anyone could figure out what was happening, the Baby Dragon flew out of the restaurant like a bullet, knocking out the front door, and raced towards the huge structure where the portal was located.

"That scoundrel!" — Idan exclaimed and, using his power over the Kingdom, teleported the Baby Dragon to the entrance of the portal. He managed to fly in there even before the Blond-haired Ned, who was just about to enter.

With the appearance of the Little Dragon in battle, the First Constellation finally demonstrated its true might.

Idan had no idea what was going on in the city of Nordist at the moment.

According to his assumptions, the Pulsar was still rampaging, and the appearance of the Baby Dragon probably only increased the chaos.

"Fortunately, we managed to evacuate all the Guild members," Idan thought, not hoping that the branch building would remain intact after all these events.

"The main thing is that they don't destroy the city," Idan said, but when he thought about it, he himself became worried.

"Well, Ned is there, I'm sure he can hold off those two," he thought.

But soon after, the light that Idan was emitting over the Redclay Town Square began to flicker, and he felt a sharp, aching pain in his soul.

The residents of the city below noticed the change and raised their gazes. They saw the suffering on Idan's face and mistakenly assumed that their savior was suffering, sacrificing his well-being to help them even more. This strengthened their faith in him.

Idan himself, breathing deeply, turned his attention to his Soul Space and the First Constellation. He realized that the pain he felt was caused by a backlash from one of his three Stars.

His fears turned out to be true.

The First Star began to twinkle with high intensity, emitting mysterious waves of chaotic and hostile energy.

Trying to figure out what was going on with Ned, Idan tried to contact him through their connection, but ran into an unexpected obstacle. Ned, for his part, cut off their connection.

"What the hell is this?" Idan exclaimed, feeling his heart begin to beat faster.

"What's going on there if Ned decided to end our connection?" he wondered.

Idan was sure that Ned had broken their connection himself, and not some outside force. Remembering the pain he had experienced earlier, Idan assumed that Ned probably did this so that his pain would not be passed on to his master.

This realization immediately made Idan realize that something serious was going on in Nordist.

He felt a strong urge to recall all his partners, but was able to restrain himself, remembering that they could all turn to him for help if needed.

And so far, none of the three of them has asked for help.

Idan decided to rely on Ned without hesitation, but with every passing second, watching the changes in his First Constellation, his anxiety grew.

The first Star could no longer hold all the energy in itself and began to share it with the second and third Stars.

The Pulsar, as before, was showing chaotic rage, and the Baby Dragon was full of curiosity and bewilderment.

However, when the first cracks appeared on the First Star, Idan's breath caught in his throat and his heart almost stopped.

Memories of how his First Star cracked came back to him, and he learned about Ned's death.

He was gripped by the fear of losing his partner again.

Idan wasted no time as he swiftly dived down and flew into the portal. As soon as he appeared on the other side, he felt a powerful blow that seemed to pierce his soul, and collapsed to the ground among the crowd of refugees.

His consciousness was instantly transported to the Soul Space, and with horror, he saw how both of his Stars, the second and third, were covered with cracks and shining brightly, filling his Soul Space with chaotic energy.

«Idan!» — Lucinda exclaimed, noticing his appearance and fall.

"What's going on?" she worried, seeing the anguish on his face.

But Idan did not answer her, because at the same time as her question, he heard Ned's call.

"Master..."

"Summon me and Pulsar..." Ned pleaded in his voice.

Idan called them both back to their Stars as quickly as he could. But when he wanted to call the Dragon, he was surprised to find that he was not in the city of Nordist.

Overcoming the pain in his Soul, Idan staggered towards the Portal leading to the Nordist, and when he reached it, he went inside.

Once on the other side, he witnessed the devastating effects of an explosion high in the sky. Although the shock wave did not destroy the city, it brought with it significant destruction.

Looking at all this devastation and feeling the strong concentration of chaotic energy in the air, Idan felt a heaviness in his soul.

But what worried him the most was where did the Baby Dragon go?
