Chapter 926: I see you're done, too?

"You can close the portal, Lina," Idan said, throwing the last prisoner into the portal. "Belle and the others will deal with them."

Following his instructions, Lina closed the portal and noticed that Idan was staring at her intently.

"Is something wrong?" she asked.

"Nothing, I'm just wondering how you've changed so much," Idan asked. "From what Belle has told me about you, I know that you hate your Valkyrie bloodline."

"Did something happen in the Valley of Stones that changed that?"

"Yes," Lina nodded.

After receiving the answer, Idan, deciding to find out the details later, opened the System window and checked the remaining System points.

"18,000 System Points?" Idan roughly calculated, estimating the amount Arabel had spent.

"Who else did Belle bring besides you and Lucinda?" Idan asked.

"Nemo and Eulalia," Lina replied without hiding it.

"Eulalia?" wondered Idan.

He could understand why Arabel had decided to bring Lucinda along as well as Nemo and Lina. Like Nemo and Lina, she was powerful, as well as able to open Access Portal.

But what about Eulalia?

"Eulalia insisted on it herself," Lina replied with a laugh.

"With Nemo's agreement to Arabel's request for help, she discovered that all her younger ones were on Earth, and she did not want to stay away, but firmly decided to help."

"And let me guess, Belle certainly didn't turn her down?"

"Yes, she quickly gave up and agreed," Lina confirmed.

"Well, if she wants to help, I see no reason to turn her down," Idan said.

Considering that Eulalia was a Diamond-ranked High Elf, Idan thought that her help would be very useful.

Neither Lina nor Idan were paying attention to the battle that was taking place high in the sky.

They were confident of Lucinda's victory and did not even allow the thought that she might be defeated.

But suddenly, they felt the fluctuations of a strange force coming from the sky.

This was something neither Idan nor Lina had ever encountered before.

A feeling of awe and at the same time a slight tremor ran through their bodies.

After a while, they noticed a bright flash of light.

"Did Lucinda use her Spirit Form?" asked Idan in surprise.

"Is the Guardian of Light really that strong?" flashed through his mind.

"Or maybe it's related to that strange force?" the questions continued to ring in his mind.

The fight, which Idan and Lina had not previously been particularly interested in, now completely captured their attention.

His flaming wings appeared behind Idan's back, and four bright purple wings appeared behind Lina's back.

They quickly soared upward, eager to see what was happening.

Unfortunately for both of them, what started quickly ended.

The fluctuations of the strange force that Idan thought belonged to the Guardian of Light disappeared. All that remained was Lucinda's presence in her Spirit Form, which also disappeared when she reversed her transformation.

Idan and Lina sped up and soon saw Lucinda high in the sky, who was holding the unconscious Guardian of Light by the throat.

She noticed Idan and Lina's appearance.

"I see you're done, too?" asked Lucinda, turning to Lina and Idan.

But neither Lina nor Idan answered. Their eyes were fixed on the Keeper of the Light.

Lucinda understood what the two of them were thinking.

"She's still alive," she said, and then hurried to add before Idan or Lina could ask their question.

"Let's go back to the Kingdom first."

"If it wasn't for the restrictions, I'm sure my little sister would have been here by now to check if her dear husband was safe," Lucinda said with a slight smile, opening the Access Portal and going inside.

Idan and Lina, after a moment's hesitation, followed her, returning to the Kingdom.

As soon as Idan appeared in front of his private house, a beautiful woman with long red hair hugged him.

"Thank God you're okay," she said, hugging him tightly and quickly checking on his condition.

"As you can see, I'm fine," Idan replied, gently hugging his wife back.

Everyone who was nearby at that moment did not interfere with their reunion.

"Did you get the Baby Dragon back?" asked Arabel hopefully.

"Yes, I returned him," Idan confirmed, kissing Arabel's forehead with a smile.

"That's wonderful," Arabel smiled, realizing that one of the reasons for her concern had disappeared.

"Let's go inside, we have something to discuss," Idan suggested, and everyone entered the building.

Lucinda used her powers to seal the Guardian of Light. Then, using her power over the Kingdom, she teleported her to one of the empty cages that the Doppelgangers had built specifically to hold the captives.

When Idan entered the room, he saw a lot of screens that Leo was watching closely.

"How are things at Redclay?" asked Idan of Arabel.

"So far, everything is calm, without any special incidents," Arabel replied. She added: "We managed to reach an agreement with the Federation, but only after we mutually took action against each other."

Arabel briefly described the situation, and Idan sincerely praised her for her excellent work.

Then he turned his attention to the people gathered in the living room. Everyone was watching the screens with interest, from where they learned the latest news from Earth.

Lucinda, Sierra, Lina, Nemo, Eulalia, Milica and Leo were in the room.

"Dan, what do you think we should do about the cities in the south and west of the Federation?" Arabel asked him.

Now that they had the additional help of three people who could open portals, Arabel didn't want to limit herself to just evacuating cities in the north and east.

She couldn't stand to watch the dots disappear on the map one by one, and with them thousands of innocent people.

Idan took Arabel's hands and, smiling, said:

"Don't worry, Belle, we will help them and do our best."

Then he turned to Lucinda, and she, in turn, smiled at him.

"Lucinda, you know what I want to ask," — Idan said. "Tell me, what is this power that the Guardian of Light used?"

His question caught the attention of everyone present, and they turned to Lucinda, waiting for an answer.

Idan did not miss this moment. What he experienced back then alarmed him, and he wanted to find out what creatures from other worlds were capable of before encountering them himself.

It was better to understand what they were dealing with than to act blindly.

"The Power of Faith," — Lucinda said, revealing the source of the power that the Guardian of Light had used.
