Chapter 972: Kingdom is different from the usual Guilds
"Who are we and who is at the head of the Kingdom?" began Idan.
"I am Idan Fein. Next to me is my partner and beloved wife, Arabel Fein. Meeting her changed my life, and since then she has always been there for me, supporting me, and eventually we got to where we are now."
Arabel smiled brightly at the introduction and at the same time the recognition of her husband.
"As my husband Idan said, I am Arabel Fein, many people used to know me as Arabel Morgan. Together, we are leading the Kingdom forward and are responsible for its future."
Someone applauded first, and soon the whole hall burst into wild applause.
"What?" — Nathan raised an eyebrow in surprise, looking at his wife Rachel, who was staring at him intently.
"Nothing," Rachel pouted and turned away.
Nathan couldn't figure out what had gotten into her. He looked at Idan and Arabel, then back at his wife, back at the couple, and back at Rachel. Finally, it dawned on him, and he laughed.
When the noise in the hall had subsided a little, Idan continued:
"But the Kingdom is not just us. His strength has always been and will always be in the people who are with us— those who act, protect, build and make decisions with us."
"As you may have noticed, the Kingdom is different from the usual Guilds," Arabel said. "I dare say that the Kingdom is more than just a Guild."
"The Kingdom has its own territory, its own safe harbor, and opportunities that other Guilds don't have."
"The Kingdom is a place where not only the Awakened find shelter, but also all who share his ideals."
Indeed, all the Guild members felt completely safe and could relax while being here. They also did not worry about their loved ones, being away from them, knowing that nothing was threatening them here.
Of course, not everything was perfect yet, but everyone saw how fast the Kingdom was developing. During those seven days of their absence, a lot has changed, new homes have appeared, and all this is thanks to the tireless work of the famous Doppelgangers.
"The structure of the Kingdom has not yet been finalized and is in the process of being discussed," Arabel began. "However, the main directions have already been outlined."
Idan nodded to Arabel and, turning to the assembled Guild leaders, said:
"Let me introduce you to a woman who has put a lot of effort into the development of the Kingdom. You all know her well — she is one of the Heroes of the Federation, my older sister, Irene Fein."
"And my sister-in-law," Arabel interjected.
The audience burst into wild applause, and Irene, accustomed to being the center of attention, rose from her seat without hesitation and waved her hand to everyone in greeting. Although she remained calm on the outside, on the inside she was pleasantly surprised by Idan and Arabel's words.
"We would also like to announce that in our absence, Irene will be responsible for the management of the Kingdom, and her voice and decisions will be decisive," Idan said.
Some in the audience stopped clapping, lost in thought, while the former members of the Queens Guild joined the applause with even more joy, rejoicing for their leader.
As for the other leaders, Yulaya and Felicia, none of them expressed objections to this appointment. They believed that Irene, with her responsibility and leadership qualities, was ideally suited for this role.
After Irene, Idan and Arabel introduced the rest of the Kingdom's leaders, starting with Yulaya, the former leader of the Flower Gardens Guild, and Felicia, the leader of the Red Fox Guild, who joined them.
"Currently, Yulaya and Felicia, as well as Irene, are tasked with ensuring the smooth integration of their Guild members into the Kingdom," Idan and Arabel announced.
After these two, the others got their moment of introduction.
Since the Kingdom's structure was still in the process of being reviewed, Idan and Arabel decided not to announce who would be responsible for what, with the exception of Leo and Milena.
The Guild members were extremely surprised when they found out who this shy guy that this crazy woman had her eye on was.
"Who would have thought that there was such an Awakened One in the Kingdom!" Rachel couldn't help but notice, her eyes glowing with jealousy. As the Leader of her own Guild, she was aware of how valuable Leo's abilities were.
Nathan nodded in agreement with his wife, glaring at Leo.
As for Milena, she was the last to be introduced. She was given the responsible task of opening and heading a branch of the Guild in Limbo.
This task was assigned to Milena at the first meeting, but due to the circumstances, she has not yet been able to establish a branch of the Guild.
However, the plans were not canceled, and Idan and Arabel seriously considered opening a branch in Limbo, and Milena was supposed to become its head.
"Now that we're talking about Limbo, before introducing the remaining members of the Kingdom and our allies, let me share with you what kind of place this is," Idan began, addressing all the Guild members.
"All of you probably know or have heard that the Kingdom has strained relations with beings from other worlds," he said, pausing to assess the audience's reaction. During which he saw nods.
"Or rather, with creatures from the Elemental Worlds," Arabel continued for him.
"However, Limbo is not one of these elemental worlds," Idan continued.
"Limbo is a part of Junonia, a world that you all know well," he revealed.
"Since our world started to change and we all got the opportunity to teleport to Junonia, we've learned that every world, including ours, has its own Will," — Idan began without waiting for questions.
"Our world, Earth, and Junonia have a strange connection to each other. The Will of Junonia does not see us as strangers and enemies, while the Earth does not perceive the inhabitants of Junonia as enemies, unlike creatures from the elemental worlds," Idan continued.
This revelation from Idan shocked everyone, including Rachel and Nathan.
As Idan had said, none of the Awakened Ones had encountered any suppression or hostility from Junonia during their travels and didn't pay attention to it.
However, those who knew about creatures from other worlds were aware that those who entered their world faced severe restrictions from the will of the Earth.
"As you've probably guessed, the Kingdom has access to Limbo."
"But that's not all," Arabel added. "The Kingdom has a unique ability to move creatures from one world to a completely different one."
"With this ability, the Kingdom can summon Guild members recruited from other worlds to our world to help."
