Chapter 4492: Moment of Silence (Part 2)

A path of red rose petals led from the entrance to the bedroom, and the bouquet of Moonroses was the centerpiece on the dinner table.

"I thought you liked the green." Lith said through the bathroom door. "I booked this place because of that. I wanted to offer you a romantic dinner surrounded by birds, flowers, and non-toddlers."

"Thanks, but we already did that for lunch." She replied. "Now it’s my turn to make this date special."

She walked out of the bathroom wearing just enough makeup to emphasize her delicate features, a bit of eyeliner, and crimson-red lipstick. She also wore her "lucky clothes", a black pencil skirt and a light blue shirt.

"Far from me to criticize your choice of clothing, but that lipstick doesn’t really go well with the rest." Lith frowned.

"I know." She giggled shyly. "Do you know what I’m wearing?"

"Yes, your ’lucky clothes’. You wore them on our first date, on the day of our marriage, and you wear them for our anniversaries." Lith replied. "I never understood if they’re meant to remind me I’m lucky to have you, or that I’m about to get lucky."

"Both." She smiled as she took his hand and placed it on her chest. "Imprint me, please."

"You’re a person, Kami. How am I supposed to imprint you?" Lith asked.

"Don’t be so literal." She chuckled. "I’m talking about my clothes."

Lith recognized the Voidfeather armor Salaark had gifted Kamila, but contrary to his expectations, the armor accepted his imprint.

"What’s the meaning of this?" He asked.

"I simply asked Grandma to help me surprise you." Kamila replied with a sultry smile. "You can now access all the clothes stored in the Voidfeather armor and modify them as you please. Give it a try."

Lith didn’t make her say it twice. With one thought, the shirt now had a keyhole cleavage and the skirt became scandalously short, barely covering her thighs. Then it became a crop top with hot pants, and after that a skimpy bikini.

"That’s the spirit, but you can dress me however you want." She leaned closer for a sweet kiss. "I also stored those dresses you picked for me today, and you can modify them as well."

"Great Mother almighty!" Lith rediscovered religion as the lucky clothes turned into a halter-neck crimson cocktail dress that left Kamila’s back exposed down to her waist and had a deep neckline that reached her navel.

"See? The lipstick matches my clothes now." She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him again.

"You know me too well, woman." Lith needed sheer willpower to keep his hands on her back instead of tearing the revealing dress apart and Blinking to the bedroom. "First my food and now this."

"And the best part is that I’ll wear anything you want during our private dinner. Feel free to change my outfit anytime." Kamila said with a sensual voice that forced him to take a deep breath to keep his rationality from shattering.

"How..." Lith’s voice was dry and husky, like a man who had travelled a long time in a desert with little water. "How did you manage to prepare all this if I mentioned the ’private show’ just a few hours ago and you never left my side?"

"Great minds think alike." Kamila blushed, flattered and excited by his reaction. "This was my plan from the beginning. I didn’t expect you to buy me new dresses, but I had my Voidfeather armor a while ago."

"I hope Grandma didn’t comment on your surprise." Lith was a bit embarrassed by Kamila talking with Salaark about their amorous plays.

"Are you kidding?" Kamila giggled at the memory. "We have a secret wardrobe, but she has an entire secret tent. Of course, she commented, but not the way you think. She showed me her collection of special clothes and told me I could take anything I wanted."

"An entire tent?" Lith was flabbergasted. "Grandma also stretches the space inside her palace with dimensional magic, doesn’t she?"

"Well, she’s lived for quite a bit, and she is a Forgemaster." Kamila shrugged. "Unlike me, she can create any piece she can come up with without anyone’s help. Why are we talking about her, though? Are you already bored of this? Do you want to change my outfit?"

"Because I’m losing my mind and there’s still no trace of our dinner." Lith had to avert his gaze to keep his composure, making Kamila squeal in happiness. "I’m not bored, and if I change your outfit one more time, I don’t know what I’ll do."

"Thank you! That’s the best compliment you could give me!" She tried to jump to his neck, but Lith stepped back.

"For the love of the gods, woman! I’m barely holding on seeing you like that. There’s no way I can stay calm if I also feel you. Please, tell me something. Anything to distract me until the room service arrives."

"Fine." Kamila pouted, half annoyed and half pleased by the unexpected turn of events. "Know this. Grandma complimented me on my idea and asked my permission to make herself a dress like mine."

"This is your original creation?" Lith said in amazement. "I-"

"Room service. Is anyone there?" A cheery voice said through the door after knocking.

"One moment." Lith went to the entrance, made sure it was impossible to see Kamila from there, and then opened the door just enough to let the food cart in. "Thanks for the service. Now scram."

He pulled the cart in himself, without letting the valet take a single step inside the room. The young man had seen weirder things and the tip was generous, so he didn’t care.

Lith appreciated both the excellent quality of the food and the natural landscapes of his wife as they dined, but lost his train of thought from time to time when she leaned forward.

"Finally! It’s time for the dessert!" Lith sighed in relief, his massive headache still mounting.

"Are you that fond of strawberry tart cake, or are you just happy we’re almost done eating?" Kamila chuckled.

"The latter." Lith nodded, his face fixed in a solemn expression of focus she recognized as his perverted face. "I have no reason to hold back anymore."

A wave of his hand turned the deep V-neckline of her dress into a heart-shaped neckline that used Kamila’s full breasts as the upper left and right sides of the heart. It also exposed the red lingerie set she wore underneath and its see-through front-closure bra.

"Hey, this was supposed to be a surprise for later. We’re not done eating yet." She giggled. "Also, this is your idea of how to draw a heart?"

"The perfect heart." Lith nodded, standing up. "Moreover, we are done here."

"What about dessert?" Kamila tilted her head.

"This is a dessert. You’re my dessert. I can have both at the same time." Lith said, Blinking his wife and the plates to the bedroom.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Tethre, the vampire in charge of the newly reestablished Night Court branch, asked. "We invested a lot of time and resources to build Stonewall and our other ramparts."
