Chapter 347: Beginning of new beginning (5)

“Hey Roman, where you at? Keke!”

“Roman! Where are you! Haha!”

Men with various weapons in their hands shouted roughly. They all seemed to be young men with good upbringings.

“This rat. He hid well.”

“Haha, that’s all he’s good at.”

Two men spoke to themselves, but they seemed quite frustrated.

“Donovan, don’t you think this is too much?”

Another man asked carefully from behind. The man in front named Donovan frowned.

“Jon. We can’t go back now. We have to do this.”

“B-but… this is illegal! I mean, human hunting? A noble hunting game?”

Jon spoke worryingly. The 30 men gathered around here were all from the same university. The one who was leading the hunt was the student body president, Dward. On his right was Joslan, the vice president. All others who were behind were also famous figures of Gorgon University. They all were famous for their brilliance.

“Keep quiet. If we bail out, our lives will be miserable. Did you see what happened to Bellic?”

Jon became afraid. He knew about Belic who was once friend of theirs — he quickly became depressed and soon hung himself.

‘He’s not one to kill himself!’

Belic was a very energetic young man, so it was hard to believe that he killed himself. After researching, Jon found out about this secret gathering called ‘Beginning of Gorgon.’ What’s more surprising was that Donovan knew the existence of this gathering.

‘That was the start.’

That’s when Jon received the invitation. The group was filled with talented people. Then his life was turned upside down. Jon was immediately on the center of focus and he became popular.

‘I was a fool!’

But now, the truth had been unveiled. The gathering wasn’t just some ordinary gathering. However, there was no way to get out of here anymore.

“What if someone sees….”

“No way. This is a restricted area. Dword’s family owns this place.”

As Donovan said, this was wilderness out of nowhere with no human trace around.

“I found a trace!”

Someone shouted from the front and everyone gathered up.

“Wow.”

“Look, it’s blood.”

“Dword’s good at arrows.”

“He went west.”

“Is he going to use water?”

“I think he’s trying to hide his trace with it.”

“He sure was a mercenary. He ain’t like other nobles.”

“Yeah! We should get ones like these in the future.”

The men spoke to themselves as if they were talking about some animal.

‘They are repeating what nobles had been doing,’ Jon thought to himself. The group moved forward, and soon they began to hear the sound of water flowing. It was a small and shallow creek. The students all stopped by the water.
