Chapter 1496: Incetta’s Growth

Alexander panicked. He didn’t know of Leysha’s existence after all. All they knew was that Leysha had been executed, so the only suspect was Melissa.

The ancient demon was hesitating about whether to attack or not.

Incetta suddenly leaped into the sky and lifted up her hand. "Come out! Spring of Life."

The ground cracked as a surge of water broke through the soil and shot into the air. The massive stream quickly flooded the area as the demons had a hard time swimming or resisting the sheer force of the wave.

Incetta then snapped her fingers as the surging wave suddenly moved in the same direction.

"No, wait... Don’t tell me... She’s trying to flood the demon army?" Alexander recognized her plan almost immediately. If the flood swept the entire army, it would scatter around the area. It would make it easier to kill them. Besides, numerous demons would die as a result.

"No. We can’t let her do it. Stop her!" Alexander shouted.

The demon wolf also charged forward. The rest of the demons joined hands and created a barrier with their demonic energy. Even though they were weaker than Incetta, the wave had spread so far that Incetta’s control was weakened severely.

Hence, the wave couldn’t break through the barrier and dispersed to two sides.

The demon wolf gathered its strength and let out a massive beam from its mouth.

Incetta thrust her spear forward, using the tip of her spear to scatter the beam so none would reach her. The water around the tip of the spear helped move the beam’s flow away from her.

Alexander leaped into the air and punched her from above.

Incetta’s spear turned into a sword as she struck Alexander’s fist from the side, deflecting it.

"Tsk." Alexander clicked his tongue. ’This is too troublesome? Do I have any other choice? If it continues like this, she can fight us for at least twenty minutes. We have to weaken her faster...’

Alexander thought this was the best idea to kill Incetta. However, the true goal of the flood revealed itself.

"Kill them!" Dylan’s voice echoed on the battlefield once more.

"!!!" Alexander widened his eyes. They had forgotten about Dylan. Although one of the three parts of the demon army was there to stop Dylan, he managed to stop them by dividing his army as well.

Due to the barrier, the flood dispersed in two directions, which created a water barrier in the middle of the demon army. This line was practically telling Dylan to attack the other part of the demon army. It had a smaller number, but it still had two thousand demons.

Still, Dylan led one hundred men directly toward this group and killed as many demons as possible.

This was Incetta’s plan. She had never intended to use full strength to fight the ancient demon wolf or Alexander.

She just wanted to create a disaster and used Dylan as her spear to weaken the demon army. Once a certain number were gone, the demon army had no choice but to retreat.

In other words, she didn’t bother to wait until Anna came. She intended to end it as quickly as possible.
