Chapter 1510: Three Guardians

The news of Noel’s true strength shocked all four kingdoms. The Muivell Kingdom, which personally witnessed that power, was scared. This was an uncontrollable power given to a single human.

However, Duke Lorelei was never going to make Noel his enemy. Even Marshall Conrad had realized it wasn’t wise for them to make him an enemy.

One of the three guardians, Fradania, the woman that Anna and Noel met once during their visit to the Zaecuria Kingdom, couldn’t help but nod. "Indeed. Conrad might be stiff, but his strength is the real deal. He, in the end, is even stronger than the captain of the Demon Banner Army and even equal to the Grand Judge, right, Old Man?"

"Old man? Please conduct yourself befitting your power." An old man with a long gray beard shook his head helplessly. While stroking his beard, he nodded. "I know. "They are being recalled?" The king frowned.

"That’s our assumption, Your Majesty."

Fradania let out a long sigh. "What a sad time to be alive. Is there a demon king in the sea?"

"According to Noel Ardagan, there is... or there are. We don’t know of their existence." Grand Judge nodded. "Still, I have lived long enough. To think I would be able to fight against a demon king at the last moment of my life. Well, I consider this a bonus."

"What bonus? I still want to live for a long time. Besides, you said you were at the last moment of your life 20 years ago, and look at you right now, still living healthy." Fradania clicked her tongue.

The Grand Judge shrugged. "You just enjoy life. Hahahaha."

"Enough with the small talk. Let’s focus on the business, shall we?"

Even though the three of us are stronger than you, you are still the head of this kingdom. We can’t afford to have anything happen to you." Fradania sighed as if she were feeling tired.

The Grand Judge nodded. "If that’s the case, I will head to the grand library. I will access all the old records to see if anything is recorded about the demon kings."

"If you find anything, share it with us right away." The king paused for a moment. "If the demon kings are indeed equal to the spirit kings, we know what will happen if Noel Ardagan loses.

"And after seeing how the demons become clever, we have to be extra careful. Loadstar, I will grant you a special right to move all the navy at your discretion; treat it as if we are at war."

"Understood." Both the Grand Judge and Loadstar bowed politely.

If the three guardians decided to rebel, no one could stop them. Normally, the king would have one or two guardians attached to the royal family, but the current king was different. Rather than attaching them, he let them have a portion of control.

Yet, despite having that power, they didn’t betray him. It wasn’t because of loyalty. The king simply made a system where if they decided to rebel, the other two would be joining hands to kill that person.

Thanks to this system, he managed to draw out 120% of their power through the subtle rivalry between them.

And it was time to draw out that 120% to handle the current situation.
