Chapter 1604: More and More Ancient Demons

"The enemy's ancient demons have been spotted." Suddenly, a scout reported out loud.

"!!!" Incetta stepped forward, ready to face it. However, she couldn't help but glance to the side, wondering if Rui also wanted to have a go.

Yet, Rui hadn't made any movement. It was as if she had no intention of facing it.

Before she made her move, Incetta saw a light coming in her direction.

In just an instant, Rui appeared before her.

"What?"

The people were confused, but once they recognized Rui was a human, they felt relieved. After all, it meant they were on the same side.

"Miss Rui." Incetta squinted her eyes.

"Miss Incetta." Rui nodded. "I just got news from our lord. It looks like they're planning to launch the main attack. This ancient demon is a trap, so I warn you not to fall into their trap."

"A trap? The main attack?"

"Yeah. It looks like they're bringing more ancient demons than we originally expected. Above 20 or maybe above 30. If you get caught in the middle, you will be in big trouble."

"So, does the lord have a solution?" Incetta knew it was going to be dangerous, but she didn't plan to back down.

Rui sighed. "Well, I have to move elsewhere. This place will be given to you. However, this will remain a killing zone. Work together with Tristan to handle the problem."

"Tristan?" Incetta tilted her head in confusion.

Rui moved closer and whispered, "This is secret information that I just received. Apparently, Tristan had a strategic weapon that could kill an ancient demon. I'm not exactly aware of the weapon, but it must be quite amazing for our lord to trust him that much."

"There's such a weapon in our place? The airship?"

"I don't know the details, but it's rumored Tristan tried something before. So, he must be the one who made it. I guess there's a reason he's the first disciple." Rui shrugged.

Incetta thought for a moment before nodding her head. "I don't know what's going on, but I will work together with him. This killing zone is important after all."

Rui nodded. "In that case, I'll take my leave here. I'll have to bring some airships with me, so I hand over the command to you. Ah, Grandel is also with me."

"I received the command." Incetta nodded. "You can bring him with you. I don't need him here."

Rui waved her hand casually before returning to the airship.

The same thing was happening all over the world.

"What is this? An ancient demon?" Raincart squinted his eyes, observing the battle situation. "It looks like the war has developed to this degree."

"Sir." The officers who came with him looked worried. They didn't know how to proceed, especially with the appearance of an ancient demon.

Raincart waved his hand. "Don't worry. The ancient demon might be terrifying, but if the demons were that strong, we wouldn't have survived this long. Let's begin. We have to receive the demons 'very well.'"

"Understood." The officers acknowledged the order.

Loadstar also felt pressured. "There are two ancient demons before us. If we fall back here, our pride as citizens of the Zaecuria Kingdom will be destroyed. We'll hold them back. Inform the second admiral to stop the rescue effort and come here immediately. In the meantime, I will try to stop them. I expect all soldiers to fight to the very end. We can't let the demons continue like this."

"Yes, sir."

Loadstar then levitated in the air as the seawater started to rise alongside him.

But before he began his attack, another big wave suddenly struck the enemy from the north.

"Bam!"

The wave was not an ordinary wave. It was filled with creatures that didn't seem to look like demons.

To his surprise, Loadstar saw a half-human, half-fish.

That person stood at the top of the giant wave. With a single wave of her hand, the top of the giant wave turned into spears that pierced numerous demons below. As the wave continued, the woman formed more and more spears, turning it into an unlimited spear attack.

"Who?" Loadstar widened his eyes in shock. "A demon? But that doesn't look like it. But that person is not human. What's actually going on?"

Suddenly, a shadow rose into the sky and fell onto the ship.

The people from the Zaecuria Kingdom immediately surrounded him. Even the admiral released his power while pointing his curved blade at him.

"Don't attack!" Loadstar returned to the ship, warning everyone.

The shadow gradually revealed its true appearance.

"What are you doing here? If I'm not mistaken, you are the rumored butler of the Ardagan family." Loadstar narrowed his eyes, still observing him.

Dimitri smiled. "It's an honor to meet you, one of the three guardians, Protector of the Sea."

"You may call me Loadstar. We don't have time for formality." Loadstar waved his hand.

Dimitri nodded. "My lord has received bothersome news. The demons are most likely trying to destroy humanity from the south, meaning both the Zaecuria Kingdom and the Atracaeca Kingdom."

"Do you mean my Zaecuria Kingdom can't withstand this attack?"

"To put it bluntly, yes."

"You bastard." The people were angry at seeing Dimitri belittle their kingdom.

Only the admiral assessed the situation calmly. "This much alone should be possible for us. Do you mean this is not their real attack?"

"!!!" The people were stunned.

Dimitri pointed to the side. "We have gotten cooperation from another kingdom outside the world map. You should be able to see that person over there. Thanks to its ability, we are expecting another tsunami.

"This will be their main attack. That's why both of us have come here to help the Zaecuria Kingdom as per my lord's order."
