Chapter 1405: How Old Are Your Husbands Again?
Chapter 1405: How Old Are Your Husbands Again?
A few minutes after Stella left, Thirteen finally woke up from his slumber.
He shared the same dream as Stella. But unlike her, he was certain it was only a dream. He knew himself and had full confidence that he wouldn’t do that to her even under the effect of the divine key of lust.
Not to mention, Tiona took care of all his needs last night, so his appetite was satiated enough for him to retain his calm.
But there was one problem.
"Where am I?" Thirteen frowned.
This wasn’t the room where he and Tiona stayed last night. As if waiting for him to wake up, he heard a knock on the door.
Thinking that the only thing to do was reply, he spoke out to the one knocking on the door.
"Come in."
When the door opened, the teenage boy saw Tiona, who sighed in relief after seeing him.
"Good morning, Master," Tiona approached Thirteen and kissed his cheek. "Did you sleep well?"
"Tiona, what am I doing here?" Thirteen asked. "Didn’t we sleep together?"
"I also don’t know what happened, Master," Tiona replied. "I woke up a few minutes ago and couldn’t find you in our room. I checked here just in case, and here you are."
The young lady knew that it was nearly impossible for her Master to leave their room without their notice. But for some reason, she had fallen dead asleep and didn’t notice anything happening throughout the night.
Thinking Tiona would mess up her prank, Eros had put her into deep sleep before teleporting Zion inside Stella’s room.
For the most part, her plan worked. Stella even left the villa to look for one of her mothers to ask for their help.
Thirteen took a few clothes out of his dimensional storage and put them on before leaving the room with Tiona.
His body felt very light and well-rested after having a good night’s sleep.
Not knowing what to do with his free time, Thirteen looked for the kitchen inside the villa. The maids had just arrived and were in the middle of preparing breakfast for their guests and mistress.
So, when Thirteen showed up in the kitchen, they all greeted him respectfully.
"Sir, breakfast will be served shortly," one of the maids said with a smile. "Please wait in the dining room."
"Okay," Thirteen replied.
He originally planned to cook something because he felt in the mood for it. But since the maids were already doing that, he decided to not bother them and act like a proper guest.
On the way to the dining room, the main door of the residence opened, and two familiar little girls squealed and ran toward Thirteen as soon as they saw him.
""Big Brother!""
Maple and Cinnamon hugged him tightly. Seeing two familiar faces in a world where he didn’t belong made the Thirteen smile.
He patted both of their heads, while saying, "Good girls," making Maple and Cinnamon happier.
"Big Brother, I missed you," Maple cooed.
"Cinnamon misses Big Brother, too!" Cinnamon smiled happily.
"I missed the two of you as well," Thirteen replied. "I’ll cook you something good for lunch later."
""Yay! Big Brother is the best!""
Tiona watched this scene warmly from the side. Her Master had always been fond of children, so seeing him treat Maple and Cinnamon like his own little sisters made her happy.
"Now I’m looking forward to eating lunch."
That statement made Thirteen and Tiona look at the entrance and saw the twins’ mother, Chiffon, accompanied by the missing Stella.
"You’ll cook for me too, right?" Chiffon asked in a teasing tone as she approached Zion and her daughters.
"Of course, My Lady," Thirteen replied. "It will be my pleasure cooking for you as well."
"Oh, dear. You really know how to sweet talk your way into a woman’s stomach." Chiffon giggled. "Feel free to call me Mom or Mother from now on."
Stella almost tripped out of thin air after hearing her mother’s statement. She knew that Chiffon wasn’t talking about marrying off Maple and Cinnamon to Zion. It was mostly due to her "misunderstanding" after waking up naked beside him earlier.
Chiffon had confirmed that Stella was still a maiden, which made the young lady feel relieved and disappointed at the same time.
Relieved because there would be no reason for her father to take Zion to a fishing trip.
Disappointed because the dream felt so real, and the teenage boy made her feel so good that remembering it made her blush.
A part of her also wished that it really did happen. If that were the case, Zion would definitely take responsibility for his action.
She had seen how much he cared about his lovers during the time that she was with him.
Although she wouldn’t admit it, she wanted to feel what it felt like to be protected by him as well.
Just as Stella’s thoughts circled around this idea, the Head Maid of her residence informed her that breakfast was ready to serve.
As the host, she led everyone to the dining room to eat breakfast together.
Along the way, Maple and Cinnamon held their Big Brother’s hand, talking to him cutely about their adventures during the past few days.
"We took our husbands and rode Leviathan across the sea!" Maple said. "It was really fun!"
"Cinnamon’s husband cried a lot, but I made sure to protect him from the sea waves! It was a little salty though?"
Thirteen blinked. "How old are your husbands again?"
""Nearly two years old!""
"... Good job."
That was the only thing that Thirteen could say at the moment. He still couldn’t believe that the two adorable dwarves were taking the phrase "cradle-snatching" in a literal manner.
Thirteen glanced at Chiffon, curious about her reaction to this piece of information. But the dwarf pretended not to hear anything and engaged Stella in idle chatter.
Clearly, even she felt helpless at her daughters’ antics. Maple and Cinnamon would cross across the stars only to play with their husbands for a few days.
It was as if they were making sure that the two kids would grow attached to them while they were still young.
The group ate in a lively atmosphere. But after breakfast, Chiffon would ask Zion a serious question that would decide whether she would support Stella’s budding feelings for him or not.
