Chapter 1409: Why You Gotta Be So Rude?

Chapter 1409: Why You Gotta Be So Rude?

"Are you sure this will work?"

Thirteen looked at his reflection on the mirror and frowned. It had been a while since he had worn something formal like this. but Giga insisted that this was the right dress code for this occasion.

"Of course," Giga gave his Master a thumbs up. "In the comics I read, the main character did this, and it worked."

Blacky, Pica, and Pico looked at him wordlessly while thinking what kind of weed Giga had been smoking. On the other hand, Stacy shook her head helplessly.

However, they had to admit that Zion looked quite presentable right now. He was wearing a tailored black suit meant for special occasions, and he was even wearing a necktie.

Giga had prepared a "special program" that they would use to convince Stella’s father, William, to give his blessing to the two teenagers.

Thirteen only saw Stella as a friend now, but better safe than sorry. He didn’t want to regret anything in the future, and the three Norns wouldn’t lie to him.

They could see through the weaves of time, and space, connecting the past, present, and the future.

Thirteen then looked at the fluttering strings connected to his pinky finger. The gold thread connecting him to Stella was less vivid, but it was there.

It simply meant that they were destined, but their bond wasn’t as strong as what he had with his other lovers, who had already found their place in his heart.

"Master, you may not look as handsome as me, but you have something I don’t," Giga said while carefully combing Thirteen’s hair. He even applied a gel on it to make it look nice and presentable.

"And that is?" Thirteen asked in curiosity.

"Charisma," Giga said. "You may not notice, but people tend to follow you after spending some time with you. For example, Lady Chiffon has only known you for a few days, but she looks at you fondly as if you’re already her son-in-law.

"But that’s not even close to the greatest proof of your charisma—it’s how you’re still alive after you met Stella’s father and told him a baseball joke."

Thirteen blinked. "Is that so?"

"Yes!" Giga affirmed. "The fact he didn’t invite you to a fishing trip is proof that you made a good impression."

Of course, Giga didn’t know that William had no plans to invite Thirteen to a fishing trip for a simple reason.

He planned to kidnap him, tear him apart, and feed him to the fishes!

"Done!" Giga backed away to admire his work, then nodded his head in satisfaction.

Blacky, Pico, Pica, Stacy, and the rest of the monsters also nodded in approval. Indeed, their Master looked dashing right now.

"Well, then. Shall we go?" Giga asked. "Rocky, go find Stella’s father. Then tell us when you find him."

Rocky growled in reply, informing Giga that he would do just that.

However, in order to make things easier, Rocky rose from the ground and talked to Maple and Cinnamon.

The two little gluttons happily agreed to help it find their father if Rocky allowed them to ride its head.

Rocky agreed, and a minute later, they were off to the Royal Palace.

Chiffon and Stella glanced at each other before nodding in agreement.

"Aethon, come!" Stella called out to her Wren, which transformed into a giant bird.

The two ladies then mounted its back and followed behind Rocky, listening to Maple and Cinnamon’s squeals of delight.

They had no idea what Zion was planning, which made them feel slightly anxious.

High above the highest tower in the palace, a red-headed Half-Elf watched Rocky’s approach.

If not for the fact that his daughters were currently riding on the monster’s head, he might have already cut it down to prevent future trouble.

"I’m going," William said before flying out of the tower.

Belle sighed before following behind her husband, opening the wings behind her back.

The Half-Elf’s wives were already paying close attention to both Zion and William. As soon as the two men decided to face each other, these ladies hastily grabbed their popcorn and followed.

Worry was secondary. They mainly wanted to see how things would play out.

""Papa!"" Maple and Cinnamon waved at their father with a smile.

William waved back before landing on the ground a few meters away from Rocky.

The Hell Lord Balboa lowered its head, allowing the two gluttons to disembark.

The two little dwarves didn’t hesitate to throw themselves at their father, letting him catch them and kiss their cheeks.

Maple and Cinnamon hugged each side of William’s waist, as if holding him in place.

While they might not know why their Big Brother wanted to talk to their father, they had a feeling that if things go wrong, their father might harm Zion.

A minute later, Thirteen appeared in front of Rocky, but he wasn’t alone.

Thirteen’s monster army was also there, facing off against the powerful Half-Elf that might endanger their Master’s life.

But instead of weapons, they were holding musical instruments.

Stella and Chiffon had landed a few meters away from both men, looking at this faceoff with great curiosity.

Thirteen then walked toward Stella’s father and only stopped when he was only a meter away from him.

Since William was taller than Zion by a head, he looked down on him with a calm gaze.

Suddenly, the sound of a violin reverberated in the surroundings as Giga played it like a pro.

T1 then played a piano, while O1 started to beat the drum.

It was quite funny to see these monsters playing, but the combination of their music eased the tension in the surroundings, and made the spectators look amused.

"Is that your boyfriend?"

Raizel, one of Stella’s sisters close to her age, asked in a teasing tone.

"H-He’s not my boyfriend," Stella stuttered.

"Oh?" Raizel arched an eyebrow before shifting her attention to Zion. "He might not be as handsome as our father, but for some reason, my sixth sense is telling me that he’s a very dangerous individual."

"And that dangerous individual seemed to have come with the intention to battle father."

Another familiar voice reached Stella’s ear making her turn around.

"Brother," Stella smiled after seeing the oldest among her siblings appear beside her.

Ciel was William’s first born.

Unlike his father, he was a red-headed Elf, and not a Half-Elf. However, his eyes were a bit different.

Depending on how light was reflected to it, it would change from green to purple. Among his siblings, only Ciel possessed this trait.

"Let’s just watch first." Ciel smiled. "I have a feeling that we will see something interesting today."

Suddenly, the two Poco Poco started to sing.

"Saturday morning, jumped out of bed, and put on his best suit," Pica sang.

"Got on my friend, and raced like a jet, all the way to you," Pico followed next.

"Knocked on your door with heart in his hand, to ask you a question."

"Cause we know that you’re an old-fashioned elf."

"Yeah~"

Thirteen didn’t sing. He simply followed the script and asked the Half-Elf a question.

"Can I have your daughter for the rest of my life?" Thirteen asked.

The monsters behind him started to sing, backing up their Master in his declaration.

Meanwhile, William’s wives started to squeal and cheer because they didn’t expect that Stella’s "boyfriend" would really say that in front of their husband.

"""Say yes, say yes, cause we need to know."""

"You say I’ll never get your blessing for the rest of my life," Pico sang, and William’s answer came a second later.

"Tough luck, my friend, but the answer is NO," William replied with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Why you gotta be so rude?" Pica asked.

"Don’t you know he’s human too?" Pico demanded.

""Why you gotta be so rude?"" William’s wives echoed their own sentiments.

But Zion was unfazed. He had come here to make Stella a part of his life, so he stared at the Half-Elf and gave his reply.

"I’m gonna marry her anyway," Thirteen declared.

"""Marry that girl~""" the peanut gallery united and supported the teenage boy’s declaration.

"No matter what you say," Thirteen stated.

"""Marry that girl~"""

"""And we’ll be a family."""

William arched an eyebrow, and the power within his body was released, forcing Thirteen to take a step back.

If not for the fact that Maple and Cinnamon had hurriedly come to his side to hold the teenage boy’s hand, he might have been blown away by the Half-Elf’s show of force.

"I hate to do this, you leave no choice," Thirteen said calmly. "I can’t live without her. Love me or hate me, we will be both standing at that altar."

"Or we will run away to another galaxy, you know.

You know she’s in love with me, she will go anywhere I go."

Chiffon, Raizel, and Ciel glanced at the blushing Stella, who didn’t know what to do with her hands as she listened to Thirteen’s declaration.

"Can I have your daughter for the rest of my life?" Thirteen asked a second time.

"""Say yes, say yes, ’cause we need to know!"""

"You say I’ll never get your blessin’ ’till the day I die," Thirteen eyed the Half-Elf, who sneered at him.

"Tough luck, my friend, ’cause the answer’s still no." William replied, and he was very close to giving the teenage boy the middle finger.

Instead, he unleashed a gust of wind, blowing away Zion’s monster army, preventing them from playing their instruments and singing.

Clearly, he had enough, so he decided to make the ignorant teenager in front of him understand that he was messing with the wrong person.
