Chapter 1454: Gathering Of Angels And Demons [Part 1]

Thirteen’s eyes relished the sight of the sleeping beauty beside him. Her eyes were shut tight, expression peaceful despite the exhaustion he had subjected her.

One thing had led to another, and before they knew it, they had already taken another step in their relationship.

Not wanting Stella to regret her decision, he hadn’t gone all the way. However, the two of them did everything above the belt without holding back.

As the one with more experience, he took the lead and patiently taught her how he and his lovers would do it when they were together.

It was an eye opener for Stella, and although she was inexperienced, she was determined to make him feel good.

In the end, the two of them slept in each other’s embrace, completely naked under the blankets.

For a brief moment, Thirteen thought of the red-headed Half-Elf whom he had fought in the world of Hestia.

That thought only lasted for a few seconds before the teenage boy tossed it aside and hugged the young lady beside him.

’Master, the Celestial Army has appeared a hundred and fifty miles from our location,’ Tiona reported. ’I have already informed our allies about their presence. Their estimated arrival time is three to four hours.’

’Thank you, Tiona,’ Thirteen replied. ’I’ll be there shortly.’

Now that the time for battle had finally come, he no longer had time to stay in bed. He gently shook Stella awake and told her about the news Tiona had shared with him.

Knowing the enemy would arrive soon, Stella joined Zion in the bathroom to spend one last intimate moment with him.

Half an hour later, the two went to look for Forneus and Dantanian. Both Celestials wore solemn expressions on their faces as they waited for the upcoming battle.

"Master, breakfast is ready," Tiona reported.

While Thirteen and Stella were having a bath together, she had already prepared a simple breakfast of oats and fruits for the two of them.

"Thank you, Tiona," Stella replied with a smile. "I’m really hungry right now."

"Please eat as much as you want." Tiona smiled back. "You won’t know when you’ll even eat next once the battle starts."

The young lady also handed her Master a bowl of oats with dried fruits on its surface. Thirteen thanked her and ate without a word.

Forneus clicked his tongue, noticing new small bruises on Thirteens’ neck, arms, and at the back of his hand, which obviously weren’t caused by insect bites.

Dantanian only smiled wryly, knowing humans usually do this before they go to war in order to calm their senses.

When Thirteen and Stella finished eating, Forneus pulled the teenage boy away to talk in private.

"We will proceed as planned," Forneus said calmly. "But are you sure you can protect yourself? Once the battle starts, we won’t have any time to come to your rescue."

"Don’t worry about me," Thirteen replied. "Just do what you need to do. I can protect myself."

Amidst their conversation, they sensed the arrival of powerful beings, making them glance in the direction from which it came.

These beings appeared from the opposite direction where the Celestial Army would come from, which meant they weren’t part of Zaphiel’s Army.

Forneus frowned, recognizing the newcomers.

Anael, the Celestial of Love, Passion, and Sexuality.

Barman, one believed to be the smartest among the Celestials.

Cahethal, the Celestial who taught people everything about agriculture.

Duma, the Celestial of Silence

Eae, the Celestial who had the passion for killing Demons.

All of them stood on top of a giant flying carpet hovering a good distance away from the Fortunate Isles.

Dantanian’s face darkenedat the sight of these Celestials, instantly assuming they had come to support Zaphiel and his allies.

"What are you all doing here?" Forneus asked fearlessly. "Have you come to fight alongside Zaphiel?"

"No," Barman replied. "We came here to watch."

"Don’t worry, Forneus," Cahethal smiled faintly. "We won’t join the battle."

"Unless you want us to join, of course." Eae grinned evilly. "I might just join when things get interesting."

Forneus snorted, looking like he didn’t give a damn. However, if these Celestials were to really join Zaphiel, they would definitely be in trouble.

Only Thirteen didn’t look alarmed when the rest of the Celestials appeared. He had already considered this scenario, so he wasn’t as surprised as Dantanian and Forneus.

Tiona and Stella, on the other hand, looked at the newcomers with solemn expressions. They weren’t as calm as their lover. His gaze on the Celestials only lasted for a few seconds before shifting to the direction where Zaphiel’s army would soon appear.

A minute later, Forneus and Dantanian sensed more powerful fluctuations coming from the east side of the island.

Suddenly, dark clouds blocked the sun as an unexpected guest made his appearance.

The Fallen Angel of Death, Apollyon, descended from the sky.

"He sure knows how to make an entrance," Forneus muttered.

The fallen angel had his three pairs of wings spread wide, adding to his intimidation. He then crossed his arms over his chest before glaring at Thirteen, who had managed to escape his grasp back in the Valley of Death.

Tiona gave the Fiend a respectful bow as Apollyon was still her liege and creator.

Apollyon gave Tiona a brief nod before once again glaring in Thirteen’s direction.

Seeing this, Forneus couldn’t help but chuckle. He instantly understood that the two had some dealings in the past. Knowing Apollyon, he wouldn’t randomly pay attention to an ordinary human.

Suddenly, a giant golden coin descended from the dark clouds in the sky. Seated on top of it was none other than Mammon, the Fiend of Greed.

Wormwood, who could only reveal its head after planting its roots in the sea, eyed the other Fiends with a calm gaze.

Dantanian felt a little calmer when he saw that the other Fiends had also come, but before he could ask them if they had come to help, Mammon spoke up first.

"We’re just observers," Mammon declared. "Don’t expect us to help you guys."

"We don’t expect anything from you though," Forneus replied. "Just stand on the side and get out of our way, Mammon."

The Immortal Fiend really knew how to annoy people. But Mammon merely sneered. Deep down, the Fiend of Greed wanted to see Forneus get beaten up by Zaphiel and his army later.

"Complete attendance, huh? Don’t tell me you met up and agreed to come and enjoy the show?" Forneus asked. "Well, even if you tell me you lots didn’t plan this, I won’t believe you."

"Of course, it’s not a coincidence," Eae replied. "It’s been a while since we saw something fun. So entertain us, okay?"

"Sure." Forneus sneered. "I’ll show you something entertaining, alright."

"Good!" Eae clapped his hands. "This will be fun."

Dantanian couldn’t help but sigh in his heart. After hundreds of years, the Celestials and Fiends once again gathered in one location.

Back then, they all gathered to fight each other, destroying the topography of the land. While the newcomers said they had only come to watch, that didn’t mean that they wouldn’t break their word later.

If things really got out of hand, a royal rumble would happen, and no one would be able to stop it once it had begun.
