Chapter 1475: A Very Generous Offer

Chapter 1475: A Very Generous Offer

Thirteen went back to his personal domain as soon as the meeting ended.

Camazotz, Kamrusepa, Paimon, and Zapar followed suit. Although unspoken, Thirteen was the leader of their Faction. On top of that, the five of them need to separately convene among themselves to plan for the upcoming war.

"Thirteen, I really believe in you. Can you just please assure us that we can win?" Zapar said in a serious tone. "Fighting against Demigods and Pseudo-Gods is no joke. At most, we can only fight the small fries, and escape when our lives are in danger."

"That’s fine," Thirteen replied. "Prioritize your safety first. If you ever feel like your lives are in any danger, retreat immediately. I won’t have enough leeway to protect everyone in the upcoming battle."

"Very well. We will opt for that strategy," Paimon nodded. "We will deal with threats up to the High Archon Level. Any stronger, we’ll retreat and rely on you."

"I’ll deal with threats up to the Celestial Level," Camazotz declared. "Although I don’t think I can defeat them, I can at least distract them for a while."

Kamrusepa remained silent as she cast her gaze at the teenage boy. She had tried to use her divination on Thirteen many times in the past, but they all failed.

But for the first time, she received a very clear divination. She just knew that the future she had seen was highly likely to come true.

"Kamrusepa, I know what you’re worried about," Thirteen said calmly. "I won’t deny the divination you had seen. It showed because it had the highest probability of becoming reality.

"But it’s just a probability, not a done deal. No matter how likely it is to happen, it’s still not set in stone. I assure you—dying is not part of the plan. Until you see my corpse fall before your very eyes, please help me in the upcoming battle."

Kamrusepa took a deep breath before nodding her head. "Very well. I will do as you say, Zion."

"Thank you, all of you," Thirteen smiled faintly. "Once again, please prioritize your safety. Do not overexert yourselves and only fight those whom you believe you could defeat."

Thirteen’s allies nodded and finally bid him goodbye. They had to make their preparations for the upcoming war, which would take place in Godfall Cradle.

Metatron had assured them that if the Infernals really appeared, he would open a portal to allow all of their armies to join the battle.

As for the other members of the Order, they were still hesitating whether to go or not.

The battle against Zaphiel and his army had already overwhelmed them. If the Main Army of the Infernals invaded, the battle they fought while risking their lives would truly look like a joke.

After leaving the Domain of the Apocalypse, Thirteen returned to Rocky’s Mobile Fortress, where everyone was waiting for his return.

Among them was a guest he hadn’t expected to come in person.

It was none other than Laplace Demon.

"What brought you here?" Thirteen asked.

"I came here on behalf of The One," Laplace Demon replied. "Do you wish to return to Pangea to spend a day or two with your family before you arrive at Godfall Cradle? Of course, you can take all of your lovers with you as well."

"What a very generous offer." Thirteen smirked. "I guess I’ll take you up on that offer."

This may very well be his last battle, and he didn’t want to face the Main Infernal Army with regrets in his heart.

Because of this, he entered the portal that Laplace Demon had created with his lovers. This might be the last time he’d spend time with his family.

When the teenage boy crossed over the portal, Rhia was already running toward him with arms spread wide.

"Brotheeeeeeeeeeeer!"

The little girl jumped without hesitation, allowing herself to be caught by her brother, who spun her round and round, making her giggle.

After the spinning ended. Rhia peppered her older brother’s cheek with kisses, making Thirteen’s lovers smile.

To his surprise, Mikhail, Shasha, and Remi were also there.

Laplace Demon might have brought them here for a family reunion, doing Thirteen a favor.

Suddenly, he felt a handful of powerful presences moving towards their home at a rapid pace.

A few seconds later, Arthur and Lady Callista landed a few meters away from Zion.

His Uncle Michael, as well as Hans, arrived a few seconds later.

"Is it true that a powerful army that surpassed the previous Jinn and Artemian Invasions is arriving on Solterra?" Arthur asked.

"Yes," Thirteen replied. "But how did you know?"

Lady Callista moved closer and patted her grandson’s shoulder. "The God of Wanderers has made an announcement. He mentioned that a powerful army is on its way to invade Solterra. He added that once Solterra has fallen, Pangea will be next."

"I see..." Thirteen didn’t know if he should praise ’The One’ for being truthful or feel annoyed since such news would obviously cause mass panic across the entire world.

But no matter how unsavory the news, truth was truth. There was no escaping the fact that once Solterra fell, Pangea would suffer the same fate.

"The Monarchs and the Central Government are having a meeting right now," Arthur stated. "It will be helpful if you spare some time to talk with them as well."

Thirteen sighed internally. A few hours of family reunion gone just like that. But he understood the importance of the matters, so he agreed to his grandfather’s request.

"I’ll be back soon," Thirteen said. "Father, mother, please treat my girls well. Who knows? Maybe one of them is already carrying your grandkids."

Alessia’s and Gerald’s eyes widened in shock because they didn’t expect to receive this kind of news from Zion.

Of course, Gerald felt doubtful, but Alessia didn’t hesitate to hold the hands of her daughters-in-law, who might be carrying Zion’s baby right now.

"Please come in!" Alessia said. "I will prepare lunch shortly."

Lady Callista was also very happy with the news, so she decided to stay behind and help her granddaughters-in-law to feel more comfortable.

Arthur and Michael returned to the Leventis Residence with Thirteen, while Hans remained to help with the household chores.

This was probably Pangea’s darkest hour, yet the only person they trusted to lead them to victory was also prophesied to meet his end on the battlefield.
