Chapter 1502: The Bane Of Her Existence
Chapter 1502: The Bane Of Her Existence
The tornado inside Pandora’s Box intensified with terrifying speed.
Piece by piece, Thirteen’s Soul Core put itself together. But it no longer looked the same as before.
Its shape remained the same, but it was no longer encompassed by cold metal.
The gems that once made up Soul Eater had replaced it, for Fate intended to create a Divine-Grade Soul Core. One that could reawaken whatever had remained of Thirteen’s soul within the divine sword.
Unlike the impression its name gave, Soul Eater didn’t erase souls. It merely captured them, keeping them within its blade.
Fate never had to use the sword until Thirteen, so only one soul resided it.
As much as the Goddess wanted to keep the rebellious system trapped, the turmoil outside would soon start, and she needed to be out there to help.
But she couldn’t leave this prison of white without Thirteen.
All she could do was repair his Soul Core with one of the most powerful materials in the universe.
But that wasn’t enough. Thirteen’s soul had sustained damage after being absorbed by the sword. To awaken him, she had to merge with Stella.
Fate had also sacrificed half of her divinity to fully restore Thirteen’s soul, as well as regenerate his body—his vessel.
The price to pay was too big for her to bear alone, which was another reason she asked Stella for help. Their temporary merging would also guarantee her recovery within five years.
Five years was a short time for Gods.
She believed that by then, she and Thirteen would have already come to a compromise.
He had no choice. Fate was needed to overcome the threat they would face today.
Seven days had passed inside Pandora’s Box.
Thirteen’s Soul Core was almost completed, and the tornado was also gradually losing its strength.
The golden egg bathed in radiant light also started to crack.
A moment later, it broke apart completely.
Stella slowly opened her eyes and looked at the tornado in front of her.
She wasn’t wearing anything, and her flawless skin seemed to faintly sparkle in a healthy glow.
Nothing much changed in her appearance, except for the curves of her body that were now more pronounced.
In order to house the soul of a Goddess, her body had been greatly strengthened. Thus, she had "grown," becoming more alluring in the process.
But the most noticeable change if one were to pay more attention to her face was her eyes.
Each of them now had a different color.
Her right eye remained green, the same as her father’s. But her left eye now had a golden hue, very much like molten amber.
When the tornado finally dispersed, an iridescent Soul Core appeared before her.
But despite its beautiful appearance, the core remained dim. Like a doused candle, no signs of life could be sensed from the Soul Core.
Stella pointed her finger at the dim core and took a deep breath.
"Divine Restoration!" Stella said, her voice filled with power.
A beam of light shot out of her fingertip and flew to the center of the core. As it absorbed the light, the core suddenly lit up intensely, sending golden sparks flying in every direction.
The Goddess felt herself intensely drained more than expected, greatly surprising her.
She knew she had to use her divinity to restore Thirteen’s body and soul, but she didn’t expect it would take this much of her power!
As one of the most powerful Gods in the universe, the divinity of the Goddess of Fate was more abundant than most of her peers. Yet even after expending half her power, Thirteen’s core had yet to awaken!
"Thirteen," Stella decided to speak and call out to her lover, hoping it will wake him up. "Please wake up. I want to see you."
"I want to hold you."
"I want to love you."
Suddenly, the center of the Soul Core finally reacted and glowed with power.
Fate finally breathed a sigh of relief and stopped feeding the Soul Core with her Divinity.
She clapped her hands three times, and the golden particles of light that Pandora’s Box had absorbed when Thirteen’s body dispersed gathered around the Soul Core.
Slowly but surely, his body started to form.
The two ladies noticed that Thirteen’s body had also grown up. He had grown taller and now looked like he was in his late teens.
His body had also become more attractive, as if sculpted by the Gods themselves.
Stella watched with bated breath and waited for her lover to open his eyes.
But he didn’t.
’What’s wrong?’ Stella asked Fate. ’Why is he not opening his eyes?’
’I-I don’t know,’ Fate replied. ’His soul and body should be fully restored by now.’
Thinking something might have gone terribly wrong, Stella didn’t hesitate to approach the young man and check if he was alive or not.
"Thirteen," Stella said as she caressed the side of his face.
It felt a little cold, scaring her. Hoping his state wasn’t as bad as it looked, she pressed her ear on his chest to listen to his heart.
Then she heard it.
His heart was beating, and it was beating fast.
Suddenly, she felt a pair of arms wrap around her body, making her look up.
Thirteen looked down at her with a gaze filled with tenderness, and affection.
"Am I dreaming?" Thirteen asked as he pulled Stella closer to him, holding her tightly.
"No," Stella replied. "This is not a dream. Thirteen, I missed you."
Stella returned his hug. She could feel his warmth... she could feel his heat...
As they hugged, she felt the heaviness in her heart fade completely.
But she could feel something else pressing on her abdomen.
Finally, she remembered that she and Thirteen were both naked.
But she didn’t back away, instead, she took the initiative to kiss him, not once, not twice, but thrice.
Thirteen accepted her kisses and returned it.
Just as the two were to kiss some more, she suddenly pulled back.
"Wait... I’m also here!" Fate protested, snapping Stella out of her daze.
Thirteen quickly realized that Fate was still inside his lover’s body.
But instead of letting the young lady go, he kept her in his arms, looking at her eyes as if trying to understand what just happened.
"I see..." Thirteen said, lightly pinching the young lady’s cheek, making both ladies cry out in pain.
After confirming his suspicion, an evil smirk appeared on his face.
His hand then moved down to squeeze his lover’s backside, making Stella’s body shudder.
"W-What do you think you’re doing?!" Fate complained. "Where do you think you’re touching?!"
Instead of answering her, Thirteen pressed his lips over her, silencing her completely.
He kissed her repeatedly and kneaded her backside, making the Goddess feel something she had never felt before.
Shame, embarrassment, anxiety, as well as something else that was more primal.
"T-Thirteen, please, let’s talk this one out," Fate pleaded. "This is not the time for this. The world is in danger, the [?????] are about to break into our world."
After hearing her words, the young man stopped and looked up at the white sky above his head.
A moment later, the whiteness disappeared, replaced by the skies above Solterra. There, they saw a crack slowly expanding, confirming the Goddess’s words.
But after taking a good look at it, the young man shifted his attention back to his lover.
"We still have twenty-three days before it opens," Thirteen said. "Even if we go out now, there’s nothing we can do to prevent it. So I will use the next few days to catch up with Kate... I mean, Stella."
"I’d love that," Stella said with a smile.
Stella had regained Kate’s memories, and seeing him once more made her fall in love with him all over again.
"W-Wait!" Fate tried to ask for mercy, but the two had no intention of listening to her.
It had been so long since the couple held each other, and Thirteen’s heart that had been filled with anger and revenge needed to vent.
As the master of Pandora’s Box, he had the power to manifest things inside it.
A big bed materialized, and he slowly carried his lover to it, kissing her all the way.
He then gently put her down and admired her beautiful body, which was now blessed by a goddess.
"You’re beautiful, Stella," Thirteen said before he lowered his head to kiss her once more.
Stella wrapped her arms around his back, pulling him closer to him.
Today, nothing would stop them from making love with each other.
Not even Fate, who was about to experience what it was like to become Thirteen’s lover.
Soon, Stella and Fate let out sweet, breathless moans as Thirteen made love to them over and over again.
The Goddess wasn’t prepared to be held by the same person she had treated as her nemesis all this time, but she was helpless against his thrusts that seemed to pierce straight to her heart.
Seeing her in this state, the sadistic side of the young man took over, making him move a little rougher.
This made the goddess grip the bedsheets under her tighter, as sounds she never thought was possible escaped her seductive lips.
Thirteen lowered his head, and kissed them, and she, who was caught in the throes of passion, kissed him back, momentarily forgetting the conflict between them.
A few minutes later, a grunt escaped Thirteen’s lips, and Fate’s body shuddered. His release caught her completely by surprise, making her reach her peak at the same time.
Inside Pandora’s Box, who once housed all the evils of the world, The Goddess’ heart was being stained by Thirteen’s colors.
Slowly but surely, she felt herself falling not into nothingness, but into those beautiful green eyes that made her feel like she had been born just for this moment.
Still reeling from the feelings of passion she had experienced for the first time in her life, Fate raised her hand to cup Thirteen’s face.
"I’m sorry," Fate said softly. "For everything. For hurting you."
"I won’t forgive you that easily," Thirteen replied. But his words were not rough and lacked the edge of hatred in them.
Instead, they were tender, which made the Goddess’ heart skip a beat.
They shared another kiss, and when it ended, Fate asked him for more.
Thirteen obliged, and made love to her entirely at her word, making the heart of the Goddess fall for the young man... whom she believed was the bane of her existence.
