Chapter 206: Making Friends

It was evident that the children were relatively well-protected by their parents, and with the timely counseling from He Tianming, a psychologist, the residents mentality was quite healthy. 

Compared to the outside world, the children weren’t as negative or sinister; there was still light in their eyes. 

They learned about the events two days ago from the adults, knowing that the handsome hero uncle had appeared. Even the mouse was forgotten as they rushed to the sales office. 

The elderly didn’t join in the excitement, but when passing by Building 5 during their walk, they noticed the newly installed gate and the glass on the fourth-floor balcony, sparking quiet discussions. 

It was far away, so Jiang Ning could not hear what they were talking about, but the faces she observed through the binoculars were rich and experienced in their own ways, but much friendlier than the survivors outside who were like zombies. 

Huo Yishen returned at eleven, his body was fresh without any sweat, while Doudou’s cheeks were flushed, wiping the sweat off her forehead eagerly, “Sister, I taught people how to box today.” 

Jiang Ning promptly encouraged him, “Doudou, you’re teaching now? That’s awesome.” 

The little girl became even happier, “I taught them military boxing. They couldn’t do it well, so my brother let me correct them one by one…” 

At first, she was afraid, but her brother insisted that she teach. 

Only then did Doudou realize that she was even better than the adults; they couldn’t even defeat her, and their punches lacked power and accuracy. 

At first, they looked down on her, but later, they all praised her. 

At the end, because of their applause and request, she even did several somersaults. 

“Sister, someone wants to be friends with me. Is it okay?” 

As she said this, Doudou looked at Jiang Ning, her eyes filled with both longing and unease.

If it were her child, she would let them play with peers appropriately, but not for too long. It was important to relax while remaining vigilant.
