"What exactly are we doing now?" Jian Dan asked, staring at a pond in front of them.
"I was just cleaning fish, and I accidentally dropped it into the trash can," Grandpa said, eyes fixed on the pond, his tone calm yet matter-of-fact.
"Huh?"
"Mo Qingqin is upstairs chatting with her friend on the phone right now, so I have to catch another fish before she notices! Otherwise, she’ll start saying I’m useless again."
"Grandpa, are you trying to tell me you plan to catch a fish from this pond?" Jian Dan’s gaze toward the pond suddenly changed.

"Grandpa, are you sure? It’s autumn now, and the pond water is freezing!" Jian Dan reminded him.
"I have no choice. I’m afraid Mo Qingqin will get mad and lock me out again!"
Seeing Grandpa’s distressed expression, Jian Dan could only... let out a heavy sigh before nodding reluctantly.
