Chapter 768: Chapter 766-The Story Of A Normal Child(2).

The child's antics grew with every day, and there came a day when the child wanted to test the limits of what he could do. Thus, the child kept his eyes on the family that lived next to him, a family of three-a loving family-that seemed to match with theirs. However, the child could see things about the family that the others didn't.

The child saw the affair the husband was going through. The child saw the hidden drug addiction problem of the mother, and the child saw the girl, a few years older than the boy, knowing it all yet hiding it all in plain sight, trying to act as if her life was going well. Thus, the child began his play.

He started to get friendly with the girl. To the girl, who found her own family feeling as if it's not worth anything, it didn't take long for the boy to become like a little brother to the girl, she came to care for him. From then on, it didn't take a lot of effort for him to rile up the rest from there.

The child first hints and drops clues of the father's affair to the mother and then the stains left by the mother to the father. The suspicions ran high within the family, and then the boy went forth to slowly educate the girl in ways she didn't see to become the focal point holding the family together.

It didn't take long for the infighting to begin within the family. The harmony that existed under a facade broke, and everything soon went to pieces. The affair, the drug use, and more all openly flaunted their nasty heads, and from it came the burst of the first danger, a mistake of the man raising his hand against his wife.

The whole situation within the house next door had turned sour and nasty. The only link that could have stuck to the girl was the boy, but how would she have known that she was just an experiment for the boy she considered her little brother? And it was one hell of an experiment, too.

As the situation started to worsen within that family, the sickness of the girl grew, too. But that wasn't the end of the experiment for the boy. What he wanted to see wasn't destruction; no, what he wanted to cause was to control the destruction and then control it enough to make it into a true family of harmony.

He wanted to test the maximum level of what could be done, and thus, the story took its turn. The one thing the boy could see from the family that was twisted was the fact that the husband and the wife genuinely loved and cared for the girl. She was the thread keeping them close, and this was what was done.

The boy started to pull the thread when the heat was high, walking in on the situation of how the fighting within the family and his one question within the fight changed the situation. "Why are you making big sister cry?"

His innocent voice, mixed with his sparkling eyes, affected the crazy situation better than he had hoped. He then, having found the diary of both parents, left it with each other, containing the information about how the situation as a whole came to be the sadness both the man and the woman held.

Reading the diary would get them to reconsider how things would go. From then on, like a good little brother, he just needed to give the push from the girl. With his help, she spoke her mind with truth to her mother and father, the situation coming to an unfolding birth of redemption.

Of course, a single girl child couldn't fully change the situation, and that's where the boy's parents came into effect, they being the good hold that helped the two get help. The stress in the man's work life lessened, and the woman got her teaching for her drug handling. Slowly but warmly, the family healed with the help of everyone around them, a beautiful story if one was to just look at it with an outer eye.

Yet the boy's father picked up on the situation as a whole. Even when the boy, as a baby, was growing up and learning to match his mask to that of a normal life, the boy had made mistakes, and the boy's father had picked up on the difference. How couldn't he know when the boy's father was a cop, a very well-respected one who had risen to the position of detective?

And he had seen a lot in life, and the man, after the incident, started to put the pieces together. When he did, the father felt a chill up his back, and from it, he knew that several strings had been pulled. But the man didn't panic; he knew what his own child had gone through. Thus, he wanted to help the child, to put the child on the correct path.

Hence, the father took the child on a trip, and in front of the shocked child, he showed all the truth. The child didn't reject it all, for all the faults of the child. The child, with his hollowed- out self, felt a certain tingle in his heart for his own mother, father, and brother, and thus, the boy spoke the truth, shocking the father to no end.

And he understood it all. It was, in a sense, the mark of a psycho, a real killer in a sense. But the only good thing was that the impulses in the boy's life weren't to kill, it was just to see things play around as he will. And thus, from then on began the training of the father, the man going forth to teach his son to be truly normal.

Yet even with that, the longing to control didn't end for the child, and he did end up doing it at times, playing around with people as he would. The father would pick up on it, and he came to understand the fact that things wouldn't end well going like this. Even the mother had started to pick up on things that didn't feel normal to her.

Thus, the father, for the first time, got the boy a game, a very normal game, with one making life choices. The boy was shocked by it; he couldn't control and manipulate them as he felt, but he did get that 'spike' when he led their lives. And with that, the family went into a situation of happiness.

The mother's suspicions went away, the happiness and normality the boy was showing, and the two brothers just grew closer with the games they were playing. The games, in a sense, became his normal type. But even then, the boy had these urges when the game was over or when the boredom of the game hit him.

And for that, the boy's father knew he couldn't do anything to control these 'urges,' but he could at least make sure the boy's gifts weren't used for something evil. The father worked hard to create a set of principles and control for the boy. The father went forth to teach the boy to use his gifts to do good rather than evil.

He should be using his gifts to manipulate, but only to manipulate, to do good, not evil. And this principle was set on the boy, a lock of sorts on the boy's mind. And respecting his father, he learned to do just that. He did what his father told him, and he grew within the light of the day, being normal in the eyes of everyone around him.

The games kept the boy company, hardening his mind, and the subtle good he did with his gifts satisfied his mind. Along the way on his quest to do that good, a lot of shifts came through that way, mainly being the girls he ended up dealing with on his quest. What his father didn't know, while he did good, the bad of the world surrounded him.

And it kept going, and the boy now dealt with a lot of darkness of the world, to its core of evil, to make it all good. It was only then, in his adult mind, that those cravings could be satisfied in any way. This hidden life of his kept going on until the boy met that game, until the game called "Make Them All Yours," the world of Ether, gave him a punch he never got elsewhere in

his whole life.

And from then on, everything took a sharp turn for the boy's life, for he seemed to have found a lost piece of his own soul in it, and along with it came the awakening of his emotions in ways he never dreamt he would get.
