Chapter 965: Chapter 963-Sweetness To Change.
Her tribe was gentle yet ruthless—a side where to the ones they love, they are the greatest lovers ever, but to their enemies, such a disaster that it was too much to even think about what they will do to them. As long as others don’t poke at them, they stay out of others’ way; that’s why the teachings Lanora was given were so important.
She knew she should grow to accept the culture of Austin, especially when it leans more towards the fact that she might be the one pursuing him. Lanora is smart, and in her culture, when one sinks their tune with another, it’s a done fact that the two of them would fall in love, and Lanora, in the sense, can’t hope that will happen with Austin—it would be too much of a closed-off view.
Lanora, in a sense, could tell the fact that Austin was interested in her; he did give off those signs, but then again, would it remain that he will only ever remain interested in her?
Austin had opened up to her, given her small snippets of his future and how tough his life is—it honestly broke her heart, and she wanted to do everything she could to help him. Thus, she knew that in the end, Austin would not just accept it all and just move into her tribe, just like it had been done all these years; he wasn’t someone who could run away from the world.
’He loves his family a bit too much.’
Austin loves his family, and he will give up his life for them; thus, Lanora knew she wouldn’t be able to change that part of him. He will keep fighting to give them the best life, and in the way he spoke and cue she gave, Lanora could understand that his future won’t be easy—he needs more support and help in his life.
And in the sense Lanora also knew she wasn’t just the one keeping her eyes on him—other girls too. Lanora had already noticed several of them, and Austin seems to show interest in them too, which shows that he truly does see a path for forming some kind of harem around him, and Lanora, in her own way, had thought of accepting it, but it never came easily to her.
That was not how she was raised: when two souls sink in their tunes, they are attached—their future, their fate, and their love—which means there is no other gap for any other tunes to come.
’Too many tunes in a perfect tune will destroy it.’
It’s a teaching she learned since she was young, and Lanora accepted it as reality too, but what could she do? She had to admit it if she wished to form some kind of future relationship around Austin. Aside from spending most of her time refining her craft to match Austin’s, she also tries to find ways to make Austin’s life easier.
She even thought of bringing in her whole tribe outside, using it to support Austin and give more power to anything he wants. Lanora even shared her concerns with her family—their replies shook her off.
’Using my bloodline ability to forcefully bond him just to me will be too much.’
Lanora thought; her ability to tune could force a being to forever be bonded together with her—the two of them sharing the same frequency of life, such that no others will have space to enter that tune. It’s something done in her family when they find their mates, but it happens with the agreement of the other party.
’Forcefully doing that is wrong...’
And as those thoughts kept swirling inside her, a twinkle came into her eyes—a certain twist around in her mind that seemed to make changes to her as her thought process started to twist.
’I mean, with me, Austin could perhaps lead an even better life; my tribe is what is wanted in the world—it will only be more useful for him to have me. Just us will create the perfect tune into the future; just us....’
As that thought leaned in deeper to Lanora, her mind started to change: ideas she previously didn’t consider flooding her, upgrading her thought process in different, dangerous yet unique ways. She wasn’t there yet, but she was moving towards the fall.
’Maybe it won’t be bad if I did it.....’
Thoughts changed, the tune changed, darkness reigned....
....
’My master, my mate, my love, my everything...’
There was a craze in the eyes of Nyla as she awaited the change for Austin to emerge—the thirst, desire, and everything in her bubbling forth like never-ending desire. The rite of passage between them was done, and a power dynamic was established, and Austin had tried very hard to do that; he had broken Nyla with desire and remoulded her into him.
Thanks to the break Austin had got, he got a chance to break Sonia away from the chains that bound her—there was also the main reason towards due to how lower in the command chain of targets she was too, which held the most in breaking Sonia away from the constraints on her, but for Nyla Austin had succeeded in it in certain ways that was fascinating.
The gift of blood in him had broken Nyla down to get what he wants; it was a culmination of different things that led to this—the main being the mix of being Farah’s master and the blood contained from being the Prince of Life, which in the end gave Austin the controlled Nyla fully subservient to him and him alone.
But due to Nyla being at a capture target, she still had a corrupted target from the other side which meant Austin was unable to fully break the control away to make Nyla a blood angel—that would mean absolute submission into his kingdom which isn’t possible at his level, now would be allowed, but even then Austin had gotten Nyla in another way.
And right now, Nyla was fully under Austin; she had bonded with him, and her mark was established, but that never meant her price as the corrupted or capture target went away. Yes, she served Austin, but even that can be twisted in some crazy way.
Nyla sat there and watched as Austin walked into the fight scene; she could see the blood pumping all through his body—the sheer perfection in it making her almost forget even her desire to drink blood as she took in the sight.
Nyla was talented—extremely talented enough that she was scouted into the war council and even given the chance to be one of the pillars of the future leaders even, and Nyla was thinking over it ’cause deep in her heart she is still the fighting-crazed woman, but she had moved against it when the war council members made a move against Austin and his faction.
And right now, that side was hers was going wild just waiting to see the scene, but even then, several situations of jealousy and twisted thoughts existed within the mind of Nyla. She knew some deeper things about Austin due to how much he had broken her to be with him; thus, she knew that Austin was far, far more dangerous than anyone could give him credit for.
Heck, he broke her in an almost easy manner when she had fought him full on and had close to the ability of an Origin level 8, which meant none of these guys would even be able to break him, but this was a different sort of fight, so no one knew what could happen.
’Fools, my master is far beyond your scope.’
As she relished in that thought, the thought also twisted her on how useful her master, her everything, could be; she knew at heart that he wasn’t as kind as he had shown himself to the world—she had already given herself to him, but she knew she wasn’t the only one. She didn’t understand it, but she understood the fact that he hunts a lot of women around him, and that twisted her up.
He was everything to Nyla, but to Nyla, she wasn’t everything to him—which was a difficult situation, but she had accepted it. She would do and be anything Austin wanted her to be, but even she has her own desires, too.
’I want to be number 1 in everything: the best slave, lover, wife, the best of everything. I want to be so indispensable to him that naturally I will be his everything.’
A crazed smile slowly spread on the face of Nyla; she will never betray Austin or do anything against him, but that doesn’t mean that she won’t become so important to him that, naturally, even to his heart, his love for her will be unlimited.
’The best of the best.’
And Nyla needed strength for it—undisputed strength that will break everything in her path for her. She has already been working on it for a long time, even now.
