Chapter 994: Chapter 992-Fast Changing Situtaion.

"I am very much tempted to steal you away. Such talent can change the world, you know?"

"I know."

I responded with a smile, making Vixuola chuckle, her gaze, though, turning even more intrusive as she looked through me, her gaze seemingly earning itself a certain more shine in it that didn’t exist before. Thus, we drank in silence for a moment, enjoying the night wind and the quiet for a moment, after which I started to speak.

"The reason I wanted to meet you was to gain your support for the faction I am about to make."

My words made Vixuola silent, her expression looking a bit thoughtful, after which she placed her glass on the table between us, the light smile on her face not fading away as she asked.

"Why me?"

A simple question, to which this time I replied immediately.

"I did my homework before coming here. You know where I come from, right? So information is something I get in the vast majority, and from it, I narrowed it down to you."

My words resounded, but even then, Vixuola didn’t have much of a change in her facial expression as she responded.

"And? You still haven’t given me the real reason yet."

To this, I stayed silent, a certain level of communication passing between us as I set quite a bit of hesitant expression, after which I spoke.

"Just how safe is everything I say in here?"

My words made Vixuola even more curious as she said.

"Very safe. Anything you say here only stays between us and no one else."

"What I say in a way will affect the vampires in a big way too."

My words now having fully found the focus of Vixuola, whose expression seemed to be sinking in more and more about the situation at hand. Thus, with a very serious expression, I asked.

"Have you ever heard about Blood Angels?"

The moment the question sounded out from my mouth, the whole atmosphere froze. The world I am in itself seemed to have gone into shock as if the whole space itself was affected, and I knew all of this came from the woman in front of me. After I had said those words, there wasn’t even a bit of change to the expression of Vixuola.

But just because she didn’t say or even have a reaction on her face didn’t mean that something didn’t happen. Thus, I waited for the final reaction, as this time Vixuola’s face became a bit more serene; it was more accurate to say it went towards more of a real-time serious expression as she sat up straight, her eyes, those gems, shining brighter than ever before, even with that bit of grey in it as she spoke.

"I might have an idea. What about it?"

The words made my expression turn even more serious. For you see, I had done my own level of research, not with the DarkNight but with the system, to find out the one that will be best for me to focus on in the war council using this persona I have, and the information ended up right in front of this woman in front of me.

As I said, turning her into a Blood Angel would be very useful for me, but that is not the way I want to do things. Being a Blood Angel would mean being transformed into a being solely for my existence, their life ripped away to only live for me and only me, and that is not something I will put on anyone just because I want to.

If they had done wrong by me, if they are the "evil" category of the world, then I wouldn’t mind turning them against their wills as punishment. It’s a win for me. Otherwise, using that just for my own use will only put me even deeper down the darker path I know I was heading on, but there are even better ways to use that source on its own.

’Vixuola De Dracula, the one obsessed with finding the last vestiges of the vampires’ greatest beginning, the one that found the research about what was done, and still driving deeper into finding that ancient past, an obsession I can say for sure.’

Musing on those words, I carefully planned the rest of my words as I spoke.

"To you, I feel like a human, but I am actually part vampire. It’s more accurate to say the fact that when I was younger I fell into a historic world, one that belonged to something so ancient that even I can’t still say where it all came from, and having gone through even close by death, I was deemed worthy in a sense of the way and found myself being injected with a higher bloodline, a higher species, and also being guided into some kind of awakening, becoming something even more..."

I stopped my words here, looking deeply at the woman in front of me. I could see those shining eyes of hers trembling with emotions, her breath even getting higher as Vixuola, controlling herself for a moment, asked.

"How can I even believe you?"

"You feel it, don’t you? The pull to me. Every vampire I met does."

The words made Vixuola flinch, her gaze straining for a moment as she couldn’t respond. Ever since I entered here, I have been putting my passion to even greater force.

"Plus..."

Stopping here, I stood up from the seat, walking a bit further, still in the sight of Vixuola, as I let go of my shirt, it falling to the ground. And then and there, etched on my back was the very same one that came to me when I took in Farah—the wings. And with a single thought, the wings broke out from behind me, a blood-red aura to it as it shifted behind me, fluttering in on about, beautifully yet deadly at the same time, like blood dripping down from it.

And as soon as I did that, my aura shifted, becoming more deadly, dangerous and shifting. I even made a small display of my fangs getting bigger as I stood where I did, and I also, at the same time, almost let go of the passive pull from the life force in me, which directly hit Vixuola in the best of ways as I saw her body stiffen.

The blood-red energy around her body almost blasted out, but she controlled it at the last moment, her face etched with awe for a moment as I heard her whisper.

"By the Ancestors..."

Her face showed ecstasy, the same look a man dying in the desert would have if he finally found some water after a long time. She almost couldn’t believe it as Vixuola slowly stood up from her seat, her legs trembling a bit as she walked to me. Gone was the experienced older warrior; what stood in front of me seemed to be the serious spirit inside, in awe of finding what she had been searching for her whole life.

With hesitant steps, she stood close to me, checking me out as her hands tried to touch my wings, but she stopped, her expression hesitant as the world-powerful Vixuola, the legendary Blood Queen, looked at me with a pleading expression as she asked.

"May I?"

The words made me smile as I nodded my head, to which, while gulping down the desires in her, she slowly extended her hands to feel my wings. The softness and deadliness at the same time made Vixuola gulp down her saliva again. For a moment, she got herself lost in the feeling, but she quickly pulled herself back as she hesitantly took her hands away.

Now I stood there with my wings spread about, looking directly in front of Vixuola, who stood facing me, she trying desperately to control herself and failing as I continued to speak.

"When I researched, you had done everything for the vampires as a whole and hold great pride in who you are. You protect geniuses and protect your own kind, and right now, I wanted that kind of person to know what I am. Someone I can trust. So that is why I came to you."

My words made Vixuola take some deep breaths, the larger effect of her desires being hard to control even for someone of her level. She was barely resisting with her might right now not to kneel or beg for my blood.

Right now I am what she had been searching her whole life for a long time: a path forward. For you see, for the ones that hit the top of what they are, they still want to climb even harder, especially those that desire power and reaching higher than anyone can. For Vixuola, the path of the Blood Angel was the only one she could take, a path forward for just her.

But it was a pipe dream, until I showed up right in front of her and threw all her logic out the window.
